Drove to Ottawa for the weekend. Decided to try out this restaurant before heading back to Montreal. Our waiter was a very friendly man. The ambiance was very calm and nice, food was delicious. I will definitely come back again. We had a great experience!

Exceptional Sri Lankan and South Indian fare in the heart of Ottawa. It's one of my all-time favorites. We over ordered and, despite being stuffed, kept eating it was so delicious. The owner is a super guy who brought out some side dishes for us to try on the house.

Delicious food and a very lovely staff! They went above and beyond for us and were so generous with the food. Definitely would recommend for anyone! It can be a bit spicy but definitely worth it. The chef himself came out to recommend us dishes and he was so accommodating to the food allergies at the table! Excited to try this place again.

First time at Ceylonta and biggest mistake was waiting this long to try their menu. Authentic Ceylon(Srilankan) Cuisine. If you want taste the South this is it. If you want to taste proper Tamil food this is it! We ordered a large menu for pick up as we ate it on banana leaves to be extra authentic. Chef Ranjan Anna, Thank you and Nandri 🙏🏾
Ps: no favourites on the menu, all was too good!

We were visiting Ottawa from NY and stopped in for dinner. The waiter was super friendly and recommended a set of dishes for us to try! He suggested some dishes we would not have otherwise ordered but everything was incredibly interesting and delicious. We would recommend Ceylonta in a heart beat!

VERY Friendly, knowledgable, and hospitable staff
All dishes were nut free
Slightly can get expensive to dine in for 2.
They insisted on a spread of different dishes, which were average in terms of indian cuisine. It is delicious and spicy, so be careful
All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience.

My friends recommended Ceylonta, a Sri Lankan Halal restaurant, so we decided to try it out. We ordered the Roast Beef, which was the chef's favorite, Masala Dosa, and the Vegetarian Thali. To our delight, we were offered 2 complimentary Chai, which made our evening even better!
The restaurant had a fantastic welcoming atmosphere, and the waiters were very helpful. The service was top-notch, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We recommend giving Ceylonta a try and we definitely plan on visiting again in the future.
