CF Markville is a vibrant shopping mall with a great mix of stores, including a convenient Walmart for everyday needs. The spacious layout makes it easy to roam, and there are plenty of dining options in the food court. With good parking and a relaxed atmosphere, it's a perfect spot for both shopping and window shopping 😁

Markville Mall is always clean & well laid out. Timmies is convenient to get a coffee & muffin. However I recently got a really stale lamb shank from Jimmy the Greek - it was disgusting. I won't be going back there again.

CF Markville is a clean and modern mall with a nice mix of stores for shopping, dining, and everyday errands. From fashion to tech, you’ll find popular brands and local shops all in one place. It’s easy to walk around, and the layout makes browsing simple and stress-free. The food court has a good variety of options, and there are cozy spots to sit and relax. Parking is usually easy, and the mall feels safe and welcoming.

I visited this place during Christmas and Boxing Day, and it was absolutely magical! The festive atmosphere was alive with joy and excitement—it truly felt like a celebration everywhere. As a tourist, I was thrilled by how welcoming the environment was. Whatever I wanted to buy or eat, it was all there, making it an unforgettable experience. One highlight was visiting Winners, where I found exactly what I needed at amazing prices, and the customer service was exceptional. It felt so good to shop in such a friendly and accommodating place! And the food—oh, the food! Whether you're craving Western dishes, Middle Eastern flavors, or Asian delights, you'll find it all here. The variety is incredible, and every bite is a treat. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. This place left me with so many wonderful memories, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect holiday outing. ❤️

Markville Mall is a beautiful shopping center with a great design and plenty of natural light, creating a vibrant and energizing atmosphere. I visited over the weekend and truly enjoyed my shopping experience. The mall offers a mix of luxury and everyday brands, making it a great place for all types of shoppers. We shopped at several stores, and I highly recommend visiting. In my opinion, this is the best shopping mall in the Markham area!

Google
Best mall in the north east area of GTA . Spacious, clean and tons of brands. Attached Walmart is a plus for your grocery needs. Plenty of parking all around. Took some photos and videos to give you a better idea. You can spend hours if you need to haha.

The new layout and upgrade makes it more pleasant to shop. North America malls are the same with standard and same store brands and food franchise found in every other mall. If we can do the malls like those in Asia with some unique stalls compare to Fairview or STC would be nice.

Google
Markville has a great selection of different stores and the food court has many great food options. This location can get quite crowded during peak hours so probably don't visit then. Usually is very well maintained and the washrooms are clean.

Yelp
Mall always busy on weekends especially. Data/wifi does not work on the Best Buy side of the mall... like it takes FOREVER to load anything. Good variety of stores and a clean food court. Washrooms in the food court are 50/50... the ones near Best Buy are much much better.

Buddy B.

Yelp
This is a review concerning the Pédiré store at this mall: There's always some man there scaring me as I am walking by their store at the mall saying " EXCUSE ME?!! " like I owe him my time or something, harassing and bothering not just me I saw but the other customers while they're trying to simply shop. If people want to go inside of your store they will, no need to scream at them and scare them off either. Why open a store if you can't get any sustainable business and need to disturb others who quietly shop in this mall? Very bad customer approach. C'est n'importe quoi.

Yelp
Pretty spacious and nice mall in Markham. The food court washrooms are under renovations. They have temporary washrooms outside the mall entrance 7. Lots of big box retailers here like Walmart, Winners, Marshall's, the Bay, Sporting life, Best Buy, Decathlon. I did not notice the guest services desk in the mall. Perhaps better signage to guide people where to go. There's free wifi in the mall. There's Joey's Markville restaurant here and the Pickle Barrel closed down and a new chinese restaurant is coming soon. This mall is pretty good for name brand stores and prices are moderate. Great spot for back to school shopping.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a decent size mall with a variety of stores such as Walmart, Best buy, Shoppers Drug Mart, Decathlon, Winners and a lot more. I like coming here because it has most of the stores I need to go to but sometimes it's pretty challenging trying to find parking.

Yelp
Management needs to do better to provide better security for store owners and shoppers. Every week since summer holidays have indicdents of thefts being reported.

Yelp
Great mall with good shopping options! I liked the variety of stores and felt like there were a good amount that caught my eye. Always enjoy visiting malls in areas I travel to and this one wasn't too bad!

Yelp
3.5 STARS I like coming to Markville mall for quick shopping needs. They have pretty much most of the important stores that you really need. The mall even have a Walmart connected to them so it's really convenient if you need to stop to grab some grocery. Most notable stores: Sephora Aritzia Hazukido St. Germaine bakery Sporting life
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Becoming Pacific Mall North. This mall needs the proposed condos as it's heading south. Store selection is weak and the it has the worst Best Buy around: a relic from the 90's. Foodcourt selection is poor.

Yelp
TIP Don't go on a holiday weekend :) PROS sporting life Sport check Roots HARVEYS!!!

Yelp
Bright, clean and well maintained shopping mall, with big anchor department stores. There is ample parking & a Tesla charging parking station. Markville also has a large food court with a good selection of many food vendors featuring a large variety of cuisines.
google avatar

Nance W.

Yelp
Parking seems to be always an issue but just park on the other side of the mall where Best Buy is and walk over. This mall is also easily accessible by transit. This mall can benefit from a renovation and can be expanded to be bigger and nicer. They also open on special holidays, which is a bonus. They try to be make it more upscale by having these nice shops but there something that seems to be missing. Walmart there seems a little bit rundown but opens late. A few commercial restaurant chains there but who needs to eat at those when there are so great establishment nearby? Customer Service at the mall are helpful.

Yelp
It's a mall. We wanted to walk around somewhere indoors and so here we are. Parking was difficult to find but maybe it's because we came at a busy time. This mall has a nice variety of stores. We enjoyed window shopping. Came here to primarily get some steps in but there were so many good eats around. Picked up a box of chocolates from Laura Secord and some fruit tea from Real Fruit Bubble Tea. There is a large bakery called Saint Germain, which looked delicious and had a nice variety of baked goods. The mall is neat and organized. It would have been nice to have a few more restrooms around. Overall, I'm glad we got a chance to visit.

Yelp
I've been here twice, last week and this week. It's a typical mall that serves with all the stores and functions you need. The store has everything and massive parking lot. Parking can be crowded on a saturday. So be patient. There are speed bumps so dont drive fast. I found beautiful pop ups. Nespresso capsule shop. Warning Tim Hortons has long line up but they're very fast. I like this mall. Its moderately busy making the shopping experience lively. But not too busy that you're elbowing people. They also have clean washrooms! I know I posted selfies. But really I'm highlighting there are some fun Instagram shots to be had at this mall. So stop in!

D C.

Yelp
The mall overall is bright and clean. However, the WOMEN WASHROOM just terrible. Every toilet are so so dirty, floors are dirty. It smell so bad. Wondering any one will do cleaning for the washroom....... I brought my visitors from Hong Kong and China to visit CF Markville. The only comment from them is "the toilets are so terrible". Hopefully CF Markville management can do something. I want to enjoy a fresh and clean washroom too.

Yelp
I feel that mall culture has declined significantly across the United States, and even the hit show Stranger Things couldn't revive how popular malls were once upon a time in the US. Unless the malls were high end, most are abandoned or have been replaced with struggling small shops selling cheap shabby goods. I would know, because I was born and raised next to Gwinnett Place Mall, where Stranger Thing was filmed! Markville Shopping Centre was refreshing for someone who hasn't seen a truly full functioning hustle bustling mall in a long time. It was the weekend that I stepped foot into Markville. It wasn't even a holiday weekend and there weren't holiday sales yet but finding parking was a nightmare. I recommend following people to their cars and then taking their spots; otherwise you'll be circling the parking lots for an hour. If you're a parent with young children, definitely highly recommend this option because you don't want to be circling but can't park and your children take a while to unload as well. When I walked in, I was struck by how busy it was. the mall felt immediately bright, clean, and airy. I love it. Markville has a high population density of Chinese Canadians btw. The whole weekend I was there, I felt like I was in a cold westernized version of Asia. Everywhere I looked, were Chinese Canadians! This lent such a comforting atmosphere to Markville mall. People were strolling, hands full with shop wares, browsing, sipping teas and coffees, and people looked genuinely happy and into the shopping. This is what a mall should be! Every shop full of people; no lonely shops. I felt like I was in Singapore or Taiwan again in one of the giant department shops again minus the wait staff that stand around and make you feel awkward. Markville Center has a great balance of things. It has so many anchors including Canadian department stores such as Hudson Bay and a even a Best Buy and Walmart stacked inside it. You could probably buy anything you wanted in this mall. Drinks wise, I was pleasantly pleased to see Ten fu tea and David's tea; locations that have been tricker to find. There wasn't too many fast food options, and there were bustling asian based bakeries that offered good quality desserts (St. Germain's) vs. the dipping dots and pretzels that often permeate lonely malls. Highlights to look for: Lululemon, Apple Store, Coach, Uniqlo are some notable stores that may not be found in other malls. Need to improve: I think there is only 1 part of the whole mall with bathrooms. plenty of stalls but it was in one corner of the mall and it was centralized... but it can be a bit of a pain if you're further away.

Yelp
If you're a Markham resident and you've never been to Markville at least once, I'd be hard pressed to believe you. Over the years, Markville has cleaned up its act and seems to improve almost every year, whether it's adding relevant stores, improving aesthetically, or adding more pop up experiences, such as the really cool Christmas decorations this year, they make it a good mall. I would say Markville is in the middle-upper pack of malls. It's quite small compared to behemoths like Yorkdale or Vaughan, but it has the right amount of stores and decent sizing of each. If you're not looking for a hardcore shopping day, this is the mall to go to. A few reasons why you wouldn't come here: doesn't have as much variety of stores as bigger malls. Lack of washrooms, legit it's like you have to go to all the way to the food court and if you're on the opposite side it's a pain in the butt. Not an outlet mall. Why it's good: parking is pretty good. You may not get choice spot near the doors, but there's always parking somewhere here. Has the main stores that every basic mall has. Layout is very straightforward and basically a straight line, so easy to locate things. Aesthetically nice. Has a lot of pop up experiences regularly. 4/5.

Yelp
Great mall overall. Lots of amazing stores and places to eat. Some favorite stores include Uniqlo, Best Buy, The Children's Place, GameStop, etc. Restaurants include Manchu Wok, Swiss Chalet, East Side Mario's, etc.

Yelp
Oh Markville, you have truly transformed since Cadillac Fairview gave you a complete high-end makeover. I miss the old Markville (with the hot air balloons... who still remembers this?? lol.) but I do love the newly renovated food court area, it is more spacious and with lots of food variety. Those brand name stores don't interest me. I usually just come here to Aritaum for my Korean skin care, and the occasional ice cream treat at Purdy's :3 Practically 90% of the shoppers are Asians, I think it is best to transform this into an Asian shopping mall with brands we love from Hong Kong, Japan, and Korean ;) I guess Unilqo, Miniso, Muji, Aritaum, LukFook Jewellery already made it into our market. I wonder what else will be coming in next ;)

Yelp
Solid shopping center in the Markville area. Clean aesthetics and interiors with some of the popular stores and brands and labels. Nothing super upscale. Great option if your living in the area or staying in the area but otherwise, would not go out of your way to visit this location.

Yelp
Used to be a very great mall. Some nice memories. What a shame. Won't be returning here. It is disheartening.

Yelp
Markville is the biggest mall in my neck of the woods of Markham. I have been going there since I was a kid. My dad would drive us up to shop and walk around. Needless to say, this mall has changed over the years. It used to have a movie theatre. The food court has relocated from the top floor across from where Best Buy is (the box store used to be a Dominion) to the main floor where Sears used to be. It is a shame that the old Sears store sits idle. I love this mall. Even when it gets busy, you can still find parking. I frequent Cinnabon to get my baked goods fix. I eat at Pickle Barrel when I have a chance to because I like the spaghetti and meatballs. My optometrist is in this mall. Starbucks, the Apple store, and Victoria's Secret are next to one another. It has the stores that I need. This mall continues to expand. I can spend an entire day here. The food court has a decent selection of food. I am sad, however, that the old family-run teriyaki place is no longer there. It had the best chicken teriyaki. (187)

Yelp
Markville is continuously trying to upgrade through renovations and new stores (ex. Aritzia, Lululemon, Saks Off 5th). They've also introduced free wifi and charging stations. The location is very convenient and it's always packed on the weekends. On the weekdays it's pretty spacious and quiet. Many people do their morning strolls inside the mall. It's also located right next to Markville Secondary. Many students like to hang out here around lunch and after school. It can be annoying at times when you actually want to do some shopping.

Yelp
Markville Shopping Centre is the biggest centre in Markham. Years ago it is more like neighbourhood mall but recent years it is trying to revamp itself into more like a regional mall. New stores have been moving in like American Eagle, Banana Republic, BCBG, H & M just to name a few. Big box stores like Walmart, Best Buy and Homesense/Winners helps make shopping at Markville an one stop experience as you can get almost anything you need here. It is great to see that Markville Shopping Centre kept doing renovations, expanding and improving! Just make my shopping experience so much better!!

Yelp
I like markville alot , it's close to home and it's nice and classy , wouldn't say its uber upscale , but it has been trending up on that scale over the past 10 years , and many more upcoming changes to come. Decent food court , and spacious 2 level mall with plenty of shops for both men and women . maybe as a critique , wish there was more options for men's shoes , but overall it has been much improved. Decor is nice clean and mildly swanky, but I would suggest avoid coming here on weekends. TONS of strollers and families window shopping LOL.

Yelp
I was here recently for the first time. This place is fairly new, large and clean. If I lived in Markham I would probably shop here often. I don't think it's worth the drive from Toronto proper though, because Toronto has equally good if not better malls. Markville's floor plan is like an elongated U with some small offshoots. The big box stores are Walmart, Sears, The Bay, Best Buy and Winners/Homesense. They have more expensive stores like Coach, Michael Kors, and Swarovski too. And all the usual suspects of big shopping centres (H&M, Zara, Forever 21, La Senza, etc.). It's a Cadillac Fairview owned Mall, which all have a similar look and feel (except this mall has a Walmart in it, which is not typical of Cadillac Fairview Malls that I know of, but this Walmart is better kept than most). The food court is big and modern looking, but does not have any unusual or non-chain places to eat. Again, the usual suspects: Thai Express, A&W, New York Fries, Manchu Wok, Taco Bell, KFC, you get the idea. If you spent your teenaged years at Yorkdale, the Eaton Centre and the underground PATH, you might feel a bit of "been there, done that" with Markville, but if you're from outside of the GTA and want to do some out-of-town shopping, you'll have a good time here. Also, if you live in the area and want a place to hang out, I think this would be a good place.

Yelp
I grew up in markham n this place have been my mall lots of changes to the place and store. Still the nice place to go for hanging out with friends and families. But right now on a date with the wife n we enjoying our small walk around the mall
google avatar

Yelp
Markville mall has gone through it's ups and downs over the years with more improvements since while it's under the Cadillac Fairview shops (Fairview, Eatons). Therefore, going to Markville is quite similar to going to any of the other malls in terms of the major shops. Recently, they have been expanding on different types of stores that has brought a lot of variety to the average shopper from higher end (Loft, Oak and Fort) to the basic box stores (walmart, shoe company) to skincare and the big bakery (St. Germaine's). I especially love that they had moved the food court towards where the old Sear's used to be. It's much easier for high school students to get to to grab something to eat and easier for me to find a parking spot as well lol. Business gets tough these days so sometimes you may see some stores closing quite quickly because of lack of funds to pay for high rents. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the mall and I'm glad they're continually trying to improve the customer satisfaction.

Yelp
What is going on ... I am shocked after livingi n Markham for 30+ years and seeing this mall grow and develop over the years... it has really gone down hill. I don't care if you're CF owned. Why are there SO MANY asian shops? Why did Forever 21 leave? This mall is useless now. The only reason I would go is for wal-mart, homesense and EB Games. Too many pretentious shops - with sales people who are WORKING a retail JOB! You're not better than me. You're working retail. It's annoying and you're annoying.
google avatar

Mandy W.

Yelp
After their renovation, the mall actually looks quite decent. You can't really compare it to big names like Yorkdale or Eaton Centre but for a small town like Markham, good enough. There's lots of parking, except if you want to gym at Goodlife then really you would want to cry. I like how the mall is kept clean but I swear they need more washrooms. I find myself walking a mile before reaching one, despite it being brand spanking new. Now the variety in shops aren't impressive but some are great, including Sporting Life, BCBG, Zara, and Best Buy. No one is asking you to go on a shopping spree here but for your weekly needs, can't go wrong! I think the staff here are generally pretty nice and not as busy, I find that it's not as crowded either. The only thing I dislike about this mall is the Joeys, but that's for another review =p
google avatar

Abominable S.

Yelp
Hands down, it is my most favourite mall in the entire GTA. And with all the great brand name stores & very friendly clientele, I very much hope it stays that way, as well. Oh & because I am a guy, I would be remiss if I did not mention all the gorgeous Japanese/Chinese/Filipino/Korean 'eye candy' that both work & shop there on the daily, as well. o^^o
google avatar

Aadil S.

Yelp
Great mall with a lot of the main brands: J Crew, Express, The Bay, Roots and more! Variety of choices in the food court, they have halal options too! Usually crowded on the weekends which is expected. I always choose to park near the Best Buy side since it is so much easier to find parking and easier exit from the mall. The only cheapish stores they have there are Winners and Walmart. The Bay has deals here and there.
google avatar

Alina M.

Yelp
It's one of the largest malls in the Markham area, so it tends to attract lots and lots of people - especially on weekends and major holidays. Parking at those times can be an absolute nightmare. But, on weekdays and some quiet weekends, it's a solid mall to walk through and browse a variety of stores. There's quite a lot of seating both around the mall and in the food court. Stores have been changing quite frequently and there's rarely too many vacant storefronts. There has still been some construction outside the mall area with renovations and a new building, so hopefully, when that finishes up, it'll clear up more mall and parking space.
google avatar

Evelyn T.

Yelp
Frequent this mall at least once a week. There are a lot of renovations and store changes throughout the years. For the better I should say. I love how there is a Wal-mart and Winners/Home Sense stores in this mall, makes it convenient to do errands and window shopping in one destination. Several stores that I love to visit are Zara, Hudson Bay, Roots, Sporting Life, Loft and Aritzia. They have also recently added Zwilling JA Henckels and Muji stores. There are lots of parking spaces but can be challenging on weekends and holidays. Food court area is huge and there are several restaurants close like Joey's, Swiss Chalet, Pickle Barrel and Mario's
google avatar

Yelp
Boy did this place get revamped! Haven't been here in years, from the old looking mall to one of the busiest malls in Markham, this place really upgraded. You get a very nice look as soon as you walk into the mall, and guest services is there. You can get coat check and parcel check for a dollar an item, which is really convenient during the winter if you don't want to carry a coat.
google avatar

Kristy N.

Yelp
I've got to say, after Markville made the renovations, it got A LOT better. It's now brighter and feels a lot cleaner. A couple stores closed down and the new trends of stores are all here. The large stores that have still remained the same since the 1990s are Walmart, Winners and the Bay. The Food Court is renovated, has a similar design to the other malls now, it's a lot newer and cleaner as well. Many stores that have opened are Michael Kors, Coach, Victoria Secret, J.Crew located pretty much in the middle. Pandora, Starbucks are also in the middle, upper section, close to Forever 21 which is on the bottom section. Best Buy has its own corner, with a few drink shops, phone case shops, and smaller shops in the aisle. Many people come here in the mall for exercise - to walk around the mall because it's so nicely renovated. So, if you come earlier in the morning, you might see a couple people in running shoes, no purses, wearing jackets speed walking around, because hey, at least the mall doesn't charge membership fee!

Yelp
Markville Mall or Shopping Centre is the largest shopping mall in Markham and is really convenient for anyone who doesn't have a car with the number of buses going in and out of there. - There is also a VIVA bus that runs along highway 7. The place is owned by Cadillac Fairview, they also own a number of other malls in the GTA. Markville has a bunch of stores and recently opened an Aeropostale and Bath & Body Works. The mall in 2013 will have a Coach, for all Coach lovers out there. It won't take a long drive downtown or out west anymore! A lot of the renovations are to look like other malls owned by the corporation and basically turning into a more urban looking and "glassy" mall. They've already switched panels to glass and everything. - This makes it have a more classy feel when in the mall. In the past few months, a lot of the stores have closed down but I'm sure once construction is over, the place will look amazing. 4/5.

Yelp
Markville is a mall that has seen its share of changes. I remember the days when the river wound its way through the hallways, offering a place to toss pennies and make wishes. I remember when the car dealership was near the elevator. But things have changed. Now it's a little less charming, but a little more "mally." There's a Best Buy, and a Wal-Mart, and all sorts of things like that. Clothing stores line the halls, shoe shops are everywhere. But is there anything that would bring me back? Any sort of specialty store? No. It's just a mall. A mall is a mall is a mall. If you live in the area, awesome. If you don't, there's no need to make the trip.

Yelp
Several months I purchased a cookware set from ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS in Markville Mall. It look great and the store assistance gave it rave reviews. However, that WAS not the case. I used one of the large stew pant to prepare dinner. After on a few minutes on the stove I held the handle and was painfully burnt, thankfully my wife applied some burn cream, but I was badly burnt. To make matters worse, I lifted the lid and got burned again!!! I called the store and spoke to an associate, who stated that "This does happen sometimes" Was there a warning on the packaging saying that? NO!! I asked for the store manager who was away. Several days latter, I explained what happened. She sent the following to her management..... Good afternoon, I wasn't sure if you saw the original email we had sent on March the 10th regarding a gentleman who called us regarding a cookware set he had purchased from us. He expressed that when he went to touch the handle, it was extremely hot and he burnt his hand quite severely. He also said that the top knob was also very hot. I explained to him that this is not a common occurrence with our sets and offered an apology. He would like to speak with someone at customer service to see what resolution we could offer. His name is Reza Esmail and his phone number is (647) 372-3604. He is cc'd on this email as well for follow up purposes. Thanks so much for your attention on this matter! Best, Morganne McCumber | Store Manager | Markville Waited and waited didn't get a call. All this took place in early March 2021. Still waiting and was told my the store manager to contact customer service!!

Yelp
Markville Mall is getting upgraded! 2012 marks some serious renovations which included a facelift and new store openings and a hip urban food court. For the longest time, residents of Markham have been flocking to Scarborough, North York, and Toronto for their shopping needs. There really wasn't much happening in this mall. But then the mall started attracting investment from popular stores, and updating the look of the space to match the upgrades in other malls across GTA. Now Markville is a modern shopping destination that high schoolers would want to hang out with their friends at after school, and people would go to check out the latest fashions instead of merely stopping by Walmart to stock up on toothpaste and toilet paper. Check their website for all the recent store openings! Apparently more is coming! My favorite part of the mall is now the food court. i love the white and the red. CANADIAN COLORS! Reminds me of Yorkdale's new food court. Urban, airy and spacious. Now if only they could also open a Big Smoke Burger. I'll be delighted :)
google avatar

Calvin S.

Yelp
Disappointed in the renovations...although this would've been one star if it weren't for the renovated food court. Looks so much better than the old one! I definitely miss the river running along the mall length. It was what made Markville unique compared to the other Cadillac Fairview-styled malls.
google avatar

Bebe B.

Yelp
The mall is being renovated, which is great, it is starting to look better already! The food court is really nice now, (except now the location is very far on the very end of the mall, rather than before where it was near the middle of the mall) I like the shops here, but it could expand and bring some better stores as well. overall, I like coming here.
google avatar

Amy Z.

Yelp
The renovations are really nice, I have to admit. It looks way more modern now and it's so brightly lit. It reminds me of a yorkdale/fairview. It used to be 'my' place when I was a kid, and even when I was a teenager- I used to take the 40 bus to the mall all the time after school. Even though it was pretty dingy now that I look back on it, I miss the little river trail that used to run throughout the entire mall on the lower level. #Childhood. I like the fact they got rid of all the 'no-name' stores that sold generic clothes. All the stores are more up-scale now and they're widely known. I like the fact I don't have to travel far for more popular stores like I used to (XXI, teavana etc.) Even the old stores that have been here since the beginning have all renovated and they look good now! All the old food kiosks (kernels/bubble tease) now have their own store too. Not a bad mall to walk around if you're from markham, however.... so many little kids (aka MSS students) that love to roam around during lunch breaks/after school periods. Oh god.

Yelp
My family and I went to the mall for Chinese New Year. There were a lot of people . Chinese music was playing and it was well decorated. It looked really nice and left like an authentic cultural atmosphere. The premier of Ontario, Kathleen Wynne, came for their ceremony. The mall is big, very spacious, lots of stores, restaurants, cafes, everything under one roof. It is clean and organised as well.

Yelp
Smaller of the Cadillac Fairview Malls. Perfect in a pinch. Has all the staples. Venders: 3/5 Just the basics. Busyness: 4/5 Usually good. Big after school crowd. Environment: 4/5 Meh. Like any CF mall. Parking: 5/5 Always empty spots. (Boxing day excluded) Washroom: 4/5 The one by BestBuy is the best!

Yelp
New mall now with that much needed renovation! Staff are mostly very unhelpful in most stores, but what do you really expect at a mall? I like our new selection of stores :) it's nice to have more to look at now.

Yelp
A few year ago, this mall did not have many trendy stores and was pretty dead. But now, all my staples can be found here: lululemon, Zara, Aritzia, Banana Republic No need to go to multiple malls now to hit all my favorite stores. Did I mention, the food court has everything? There is pretty much a fast food stall for every type of cuisine you can think of. Parking lot is still mayhem most of the time though.

Yelp
Nice. I had to walk 3 km to get to the one bathroom at the one corner of the mall. Nice marketing scheme.

Yelp
The mall has come along way from what it was. Its gone through several updates and once again its being updated. They have a really good food court, you can always find seats and the tables are clean. The number of stores that are geared towards the trendy / hipster crowd has increased substantially. This has also increased the price point of items. I'm a bargain hunter so, I always look around before buying, so my advice would be to steer clear of the trendy hipster type stores, they usually significantly markup the prices of the clothes and accessaries and then discount it to make it look like a deal. This is true for most malls, but I find it true especially for Markville, I guess this is because there is not much competition in terms of malls in Markham when compared to Toronto. Other than that, there is always people walking around at Markville that do nothing, they just walk around to pass time. I can understand if it was Eaton's centre with the tourists, but its Markham. This Drives me crazy because they get in your way when your in a rush and don't have the decency to move to the right. The same goes for escalator service, people at Markville have no clue about standing right and letting people on the left pass them. They just stand in the middle and look around with these blank expressionless faces.

Yelp
It's just another Mall. Nothing special. Nothing crazy. Santa was not coming here early for Christmas. So why was there no parking to be found and had to circle to the back of the mall? So it has an apple store and the lesser known brother - the microsoft store. Places where people spend countless hours staring at a backlit screen on metal bodies and mindlessly give credit cards to people who call themselves Geniuses! The place was packed with Mall Rats who were lined up at Starbucks to get their caffeine fix. These nifty-niners sitting on every available seats taking selfies and texting each other as they sit mere inches from each other. LOL! I really miss those days!!! I needed to pick up a couple of things here before going on an all night assignment and this was the nearest place to get it. If I can avoid this place in the future, it probably would be a good idea. I pity those who need to drive through the nearby roads during the holiday shopping season!
