This cruise was nothing short of phenomenal and such an incredible way to experience Asia culture and the Mekong River. The service on board was 5 star with all the crew on board willing to help with anything you need while also organising the itinerary to seamlessly. The food was inspired by beautiful Cambodian and Vietnamese flavours and was incredible. All the shore excursions were an amazing mix of exploring and experiencing the local culture. What an enjoyable Mekong cruise on Toum Tiou 2. The crews and foods on the ship were amazing. The day-by-day excursions went very smooth. We see different things every day.

A great way to discover new and exciting cultures, food and sights. The cruise takes you through all you need to see in Cambodia and Vietnam from the comfort of a great ship. It's an opportunity to discover both big cities and south east Asia countryside all in one trip.

We had an amazing cruise from Saigon to Koh Chen/Siem Reap on MV TOUM TIOU II. Both the boat and the cabins are charming and cosy, decorated with dark wooden panelling. The 14 cabins are quite spacious, with comfortable beds, individual air conditioning and a bathrooms with a large shower. The excursions allow you to visit a portion of Vietnam and the real Cambodia. The scenery along the Mekong Delta is fascinating with mangrove groves, floating villages, pagodas, children bathing in the river: much of the area around the river is off the beaten tourist track but we also had the possibility to appreciate Saigon and Phnom Penh with their lively nightlife, museums and temples. The cruise exceeded our highest expectations: food and staff were excellent, as well as the amazing local guides. We had various activities included on and off the ship: bike riding, kayaking, cooking, apsara dance show, etc… We would recommend this trip to all without hesitation.

At Beyond Tourism Company, we've had a very positive experience with CF Mekong and have been working with them since we started in 2012. We've always found them to be prompt to reply, helpful and friendly. They also showed a lot of flexibility through COVID in regard to existing bookings, despite their own massive challenges, which we and our customers appreciated. They also offer a great product which is unlike the larger luxury cruise ships on the Mekong and helps clients to experience Cambodia and Vietnam in a more meaningful way. I have no hesitation recommending them!

Sailing the Mekong on the intimate Toum Tiou II was nothing short of extraordinary. Over nine days, my mum and I were cared for with warmth, attentiveness and genuine hospitality. As a coeliac, I was amazed by the safe, delicious meals prepared just for me – from gluten-free pho to pastries waiting at breakfast each morning. The crew’s care turned meals from stressful to joyful. Excursions felt authentic and flexible, giving us the freedom to explore separately or together, while the small group size made it easy to connect with fellow travellers. The atmosphere onboard was relaxed, comfortable and deeply personal – more like being part of a community than just passengers on a ship. The only thing I would do differently next time is book the all-inclusive package so drinks and bonus activities were covered from the start.
