What makes CF Pacific Centre special is not only its diverse range of stores but also its modern design and convenient layout. The mall is partly underground, offering a comfortable shopping environment protected from Vancouver’s rainy weather. In addition to retail shops, the centre has food courts, casual cafés, and sit-down restaurants, giving visitors many dining options. It is also within walking distance of major downtown attractions like the Vancouver Art Gallery and Robson Street. The parking situation here is a complete joke. I was here for a few hours and somehow walked out owing $47 in parking. Forty-seven dollars. That’s not a typo. There’s clearly no cap, no warning, and no sense of reality. Parking in this area is already brutal, and this place knows it. Instead of making it reasonable for people who are actually spending money at the mall, they just let the meter run like a casino clock. I’ve paid less for parking at a Beyoncé concert and full-day events. At least there, you know what you’re getting into. Here, it just quietly racks up until you’re standing at the machine wondering if it’s a prank. It doesn’t feel like convenience pricing, it feels like punishment for showing up. Which is wild, because this is exactly how you make sure people don’t. NEVER. AGAIN.

Parking is another downside—it’s extremely expensive, which adds to the overall cost of a visit. On a positive note, the staff at the Roots store are friendly and helpful, offering great customer service. Overall, Pacific Centre has potential, but it falls short in delivering a pleasant and memorable shopping experience.

I want to add that this location DOES have free wheelchair rentals. I searched online and was told no. My 65 year old husband and I had been walking for two hours waiting for hotel check-in and I figured it would be a dry place to wait, even without a wheelchair rental option as he was exhausted. Imagine my delight when I found the customer service kiosk and it said wheelchair rentals! The process was quick, easy, and free. He was able to spend the remaining two hours out of pain and back to enjoying himself. I don't think you realize how much you saved the day for this old couple. We can't thank you enough for being there.

There were also other places offering plant-based dishes, so I had plenty of choices. Overall, my visit to CF Pacific Centre was enjoyable and convenient. The combination of a central location, a wide variety of stores, and vegan-friendly dining options makes it a great spot for shopping and grabbing a bite to eat in Vancouver. Nice food court but not a shop in there I would shop at. Guess I am too alternative for that mall. Kinda cool it's underground and so big but needs bett stores for me to spend money there.
