CH Boutique Hotel & Apartments, An Ascend Collection Hotel

It’s in a good location, we went to The Welders Dog around the corner for dinner which was delicious and affordable. Also close to a range of shops. The pressure in the shower was not great however, and a fee charged for parking which I didn’t see when booking. If I could suggest, parking be offered for free for those signed up with Choice Hotels.

In one word AMAZING! From booking to departure the staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful and professional. Our room was beautiful and the spa was FANTASTIC! The cleaners here do an outstanding job as well. Thank you for making our anniversary weekend great.

I had the worst nights sleep I have ever had in my life at this hotel. The bed was that soft it had absolutely zero support. It was that bad I finished up pulling a couple of cushions off the lounge and slept on the floor. An experience I never want to repeat paying for somewhere to sleep. This experience makes it very difficult to recommend this experience for anyone else.

I stayed at the Tamworth hotel, king executive room. I have been a consultant for years, which required me to travel a fair bit. It was probably the best hotel room I have stayed in. Spotless room, excellent sized ensuite and a kitchenette, which was a bonus. you could nearly live in this room. In addition to the onsite Deco restaurant, it is central to other eateries by foot, no need to drive, which is also a great option. Staff are super friendly, and nothing appears too much trouble. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and room type.

I booked about 8 mths out for my sisters 80th birthday. Sadly she had a massive stroke & passed away. I advised hotel more than a month before arrival & yes I know I booked a non refundable rate but still find it sad that we couldn’t even get 1/2 back in the circumstances. Sure our $200 was more important to profit Choice Hotels but it will be something we won’t forget. We know we had no rights but a bit of empathy would have gone a long way with PR.

We stayed at CH Boutique Hotel & Apartments for a personal appointment and added a few recreational activities. It exceeded expectations. The location is spot-on — right in Tamworth’s CBD with easy access and good parking. The room was clean, quiet, and well-maintained. We especially appreciated the tasteful Art Deco decor — it gave the space real character. From our initial phone booking through to check-in, bar service, and dining, every staff member was professional, friendly, and efficient. It’s clear the team is well-trained, particularly in up-selling and promoting their group’s other venues. Service at the bar was excellent. Staff were helpful with questions and very obliging. Our only minor criticism: wine was poured from the side rather than in front of us — not the usual standard — and there was a slight interruption to our conversation. Still, the overall experience far outweighed that. Wi-Fi was as expected, and the pricing offered good value. We’ll definitely return and happily recommend CH to others looking for quality accommodation in Tamworth.

Beautiful hotel room. Staff were amazing, wine bar was excellent. Right in the middle of town. No complaints.

Great decor and large rooms with friendly efficient service.. and the bar is cosy.. However the rooms that border Brisbane St are too loud - I think 201, 301 etc.. Trucks through the night. Not a good sleep..
