CH Boutique Hotel & Apartments, An Ascend Collection Hotel

The location is great, right on the main street where theres plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff were helpful and kindly helped me to send a parcel which arrived late after I had checked out. The room decor was a little dated but was clean and comfortable. There were 2 wings and I stayed in the one above the restaurant which is a short walk to the reception.

It’s in a good location, we went to The Welders Dog around the corner for dinner which was delicious and affordable. Also close to a range of shops. The pressure in the shower was not great however, and a fee charged for parking which I didn’t see when booking. If I could suggest, parking be offered for free for those signed up with Choice Hotels.

I've stayed at the CH a few times now - always a very clean and comfortable room and well appointed. This stay didn't disappoint. Spacious, aircon that worked perfectly - everything was spot on. Thank you.

In one word AMAZING! From booking to departure the staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful and professional. Our room was beautiful and the spa was FANTASTIC! The cleaners here do an outstanding job as well. Thank you for making our anniversary weekend great.

I had the worst nights sleep I have ever had in my life at this hotel. The bed was that soft it had absolutely zero support. It was that bad I finished up pulling a couple of cushions off the lounge and slept on the floor. An experience I never want to repeat paying for somewhere to sleep. This experience makes it very difficult to recommend this experience for anyone else.

I stayed at the Tamworth hotel, king executive room. I have been a consultant for years, which required me to travel a fair bit. It was probably the best hotel room I have stayed in. Spotless room, excellent sized ensuite and a kitchenette, which was a bonus. you could nearly live in this room. In addition to the onsite Deco restaurant, it is central to other eateries by foot, no need to drive, which is also a great option. Staff are super friendly, and nothing appears too much trouble. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and room type.

I booked about 8 mths out for my sisters 80th birthday. Sadly she had a massive stroke & passed away. I advised hotel more than a month before arrival & yes I know I booked a non refundable rate but still find it sad that we couldn’t even get 1/2 back in the circumstances. Sure our $200 was more important to profit Choice Hotels but it will be something we won’t forget. We know we had no rights but a bit of empathy would have gone a long way with PR.

Stylish place with a modern feel and comfy rooms. Great location and easy check-in, with everything you need for a relaxed stay. Would happily stay here again.
