Our experience here was a bit disappointing.
A big disappointment was that the pool was under repair while we were there. This was never communicated to us, and we only discovered it when we saw a posting in the elevator. We strongly feel this should have been communicated to us beforehand. We expressed our displeasure to the front desk and only after repeated visits to the front desk to sort it out, we were finally offered free breakfast for the duration of our stay. The staff also were not helpful at all in terms of what was available for drinks or recreation in the area.
The restaurant said it was open daily, but the restaurant was closed every night with no explanation why.
The rooms are fine and the AC was very good. The hotel is in close proximity to the Anusarn Market, which is good and bad. It is good because you can literally walk out of the back of the hotel and be at the market in a minute, so it’s very convenient for shopping or food. It’s bad because if your room faces the market you may be kept up from the noise and music.
The room was comfortable and the bed was fine, so the accommodations were adequate, but there were a multitude of annoyances that made our experience here less than we had hoped for. We were also disappointed to learn that the cleaning staff took down a travel clothesline for drying clothes and broke it in the process, without ever having notified us.
Overall, our stay here was disappointing, but we were still able to shower and sleep in a comfortable room, so it wasn’t all bad.
