We loved this place! The owners are friendly and they have a cute dog in reception. We asked for Japanese tatami room for our anniversary. They have western rooms also, but we like futon on the floor. They have a wonderful garden in the front. Not many guest houses have the luxury of so much space, so this was a really lovely spot. We had coffee in the morning in the garden in the shade under the trees. They have snorkel rental and we saw turtles both days!! We were so happy. We did not want to leave. Very happy here! In the room is fridge, microwave, kettle, cups, glasses. Some cooking utensils but we always ate at restaurant so we didn’t need any of these. Shampoo and body wash is supplied also.

Cha Villa was my home far far away from home when I visited the beautiful island of Zamami. I was travelling this last week of my vacation alone and the staff, especially Tomoko-san, made me feel like a friend and family! The little apartment was very clean and comfortable with air conditioning and a fridge. The garden of the hotel is a little oasis where you can sit with a cup of hot tea or a cold beer and sum up your adventures of the day. The little café in the lobby serves snacks and drinks and is great for a bit of "western style" breakfast if you fancy it. The location is great 2 minutes from the port but still close to walk to Furuzamami and Ama beaches. I would recommend Cha Villa to everyone and hope to come back here soon!

Cha Villa is without any doubt the best place where to stay in Zamami. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, well equipped and all of them have a terrace. When you enter the hotel, you can go through a small but nicely arranged garden, very pleasant especially by night when all lights give the place a cosy atmosphere. You can enjoy the breakfast cooked by the owner herself with some jazz music. The hotel is located 3 minutes by foot from the port. Important point for us as well was the washing machine. You can buy washing powder to the owner for only 50 Yen.

We only stayed one night but could have stayed at least a couple more. The cafe attached to the guesthouse has a relaxing atmosphere, with soft music playing in the background, and an eclectic mix of cozy chairs, tables and sofas are situated near a cute rounded counter and shiny black piano. ||||Our room was spartan but perfect. We chose tatami mats and futon bedding for a traditional experience. ||||After the beach, you are able to use the outdoor foot shower or enclosed shower to get the sand off. Very convenient service, available even after check-out. ||||Thank you to the owner and staff for their warm-hearted welcome!

We didn't stay at the hotel but we went for a couple of days to have a coffee and cake. As well as enjoying the nicest cheesecake I've had for many years, we really enjoyed hoy cosy and friendly the place was. Reasonably quiet jazz music and a very comfortable settee. What more you can ask for. The staff was incredible nice so we can only fully recommend this place to whoever wants a bit of relaxing time in this wonderful island.

Very accommodating staff, two English speakers and the others try there best. Zamami is a small village and they know all the best places to eat and have all the local transport information. Rooms are private, self-catering but they do run a cafe throughout the day and they offer a breakfast plate for ¥1000. Room was clean and spacious enough. Bathroom was small but perfectly usable.

Best place to stay in Zamami. Rooms are super nice and clean. Owners are Zamami people and welcome you in a family like environment and make sure you are taking care of and help you with anything you need.

Stayed for 2 nights. While cha-||Villa is a bit more expensive than other inns on the island you get your own small bathroom and kitchenette which REALLY is helpful. We were able to have snacks and beverages in the fridge we brought from home since there is a small amount of restaurants on island. No meals were included. I would stay again.
