Chaba Café and Gallery

Absolutely recommended! What a gem Chaba Café & Gallery is on Koh Yao Noi! We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast here twice around 11 am, and both times everything was top-notch. The food is deliciously fresh and flavorful: the muesli bowl set was perfectly fresh and nutritious, the poached eggs super tender and well-prepared. The smoothies are truly fantastic – creamy and tropical – the Indian chai latte and golden almond latte are warm, spicy and creamy highlights that make your day. The service is completely fine: friendly, efficient, and attentive without being pushy. The decor is fun and relaxed, with a green, artistic vibe that fits the island perfectly. And the best part? It’s not expensive for such quality – real value for money. In short, if you’re on Koh Yao Noi, come eat here. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

We had a fried rice for 100 baht and a iced cafe latte for 90 baht to share. The place is pretty and has nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly as well. The coffee was good and not too expensive, but the fried rice was slightly small and the salad garnish on the side had a tomato that had a suspiciously moldy looking spot on it. We still ate the fried rice and it was ok, maybe not worth the price I would say, but it is likely not the main food that people would order here anyways. Lots of vegan and healthy options so maybe those are better here. Also had free cold water provided which was nice.

We were craving somewhere to have a nice brunch away from the local food- Chaba did not disappoint! In fact we came back twice. Big choice of eggs, bagels, paninis, and smoothie bowls, not to mention the big choice of smoothies, juices, coffees etc. A lot of home made bread too! Great food and good service

Delicious food and wonderful restaurant. Firstly, it’s lovely to go somewhere with free vegan milk options and so many vegan food options. I had the golden latte which tasted lovely and was reasonably priced. For food I had the scrambled tofu and Wow! That is the best bread I’ve had in my 2 months of travel 😍 shame it’s only 1 slice but only 20 baht for an extra. My partner had the eggs on toast and said it was lovely. The only concern I have is if hat the vegan pesto panini on the menu (pictured) does not have the N (nuts) symbol on it. luckily I asked about cashews just in case and was told if does have cashews in, but someone else could have ordered thinking it didn’t. The waitress also did not seem concerned when I pointed out that there is no but symbol - though this could be a language barrier issue.

Best breakfast on the entire island and the best coffee — a real 5/5. They bake their own bread, the eggs come from wild island chickens, and everything tastes unbelievably fresh. I enjoyed it so much, the quality-for-price is unbeatable, and the staff is the cutest ever. An absolute must in Koh Yao Noi.

It was an unexpected and very pleasant surpise to find a restaurant with vegan options on such a small island. Chaba Cafe offers many vegan dishes, including vegan deserts. The food is very tasty and the portions are filling. We had the vegan Sprin Rolls, which were very tasty. We also had Pad Thai made vegan for us. The smoothies were also very good. Recommend this place to any vegan visiting Koh Yao Noi!

Great place to have breakfast. Dishes are well curated and abundant. Drinks are great as well (loved the coconut and basil). The atmosphere is so relaxing, really a nice place.

What an absolutely incredible place! Such beautiful surroundings and a lovely vibe. The staff are so welcoming and kind and the food is super fresh and delicious. We got the poached eggs with homemade pesto and the breakfast roll with a home made crepe - both were outstanding. The side salad was made with fresh ingredients from the garden and you can tell. One of the highlights of our time here…you MUST try this place!!
