My visit to Παραδοσιακό Καφενείο Χαιχούτες on Kos was simply unforgettable! The atmosphere felt like a scene straight out of a Mamma Mia movie – absolutely magical. The live music was fantastic and added to the wonderful ambiance. The food was incredibly delicious, with every dish being a delight. It’s the perfect place to spend an evening with friends or family. Highly recommended!

If I could give a higher score then I would 😁. An absolute gem of a place. In Kos Ghost Town, completely off the beaten track. It's surrounded by ruins. The food is fantastic and definitely worth the price. Everything is freshly made and the fresh orange juice was very appreciated. We would have loved to have been able to visit in the evening as the pictures we saw looked enchanting.

This has to be one of the best and unforgettable dining experiences of my life. STUNNING location. Set in the heart of an abandoned village, amongst the ruins and remains, a beautiful restaurant/cafe such a serene atmosphere. Amazing food and authentic Greek entertainment. I highly recommend.

This establishment is without equal on the island. The restoration/preservation efforts are deeply appreciated by those of us who have roots on the island. The food and “jam session” style music from authentic artists make every visit memorable. Bravo sas!!!! One suggestion:: butcher paper table covers to counteract tree sap.

This is a magical place and it holds dearly in my heart not only because I celebrated my birthday there but the food and service was amazing. This restaurant is in the middle of nowhere from an abandoned village since 1980s and the owner took his time to rebuild this very niche restaurant in the hope to restore this place to its former glory. I first went there to see if I could get a seat for the evening but they were fully booked and I reserved my seats a coupe of days later for my birthday. They play Greek music in the evening twice a week and if you wish to enjoy a local experience you should ask when the music would be performed. Food 9/10, ambience 9.5/10, service 8/10 value for money 9/10. A real hidden gem. I restaurant I would return and a place secured solidly on my save list!

Nice little café in an almost deserted mountain village. Depending on which side you are coming from, the journey via the narrow streets is exciting. In any case, there are beautiful views. Apart from the ruins, there is not much to see on site. A big coffee was 2.50 euros at the beginning of October 2022.

amazing place in an abandoned old village with modern renovated spaces of good taste, awesome polite and chill people, perfect food made with fresh and good quality ingredients, low prices. can't recommended enough.
