Chail Palace Hotel Review – Deewan Room (2-Night Stay) We stayed at the historic Chail Palace for two nights in the Deewan room and overall, had a lovely experience. 📍 Location: The hotel is nestled in a beautiful and serene setting with lush lawns and a dedicated park area for kids. The palace’s charm adds to the experience, although it does attract many day visitors, which can feel a bit crowded at times. If you're seeking absolute peace, this occasional rush might be a minor disturbance. 🛏️ Room: The Deewan room was spacious and well-maintained. However, the bathroom was quite small and resembled that of a typical home, with a few minor issues that could use attention. 🍽️ Restaurant: The food was tasty and the service was excellent. We had a small concern with one of our meals, but the staff handled it with great professionalism and ensured we were satisfied. 👨‍💼 Service: The staff were courteous and responsive. When we encountered a misunderstanding with another guest, the team handled the situation respectfully. A special mention to the hotel manager for being genuinely helpful and kind. ✅ Verdict: Despite a few minor hiccups, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The mix of heritage, nature, and attentive service made it a memorable getaway.

Great place to visit with family. One of the main attractions on Chail and first place to visit in Chail . You can go to visit here for which you have to pay 200 ticket per person but he you book your stay here then no entry charges. The rooms are available from 3500 to 30000 per night. Multiple varieties of rooms are available. Palace has in house restaurant and bar. This has all the historical details and items. There is big green garden where you can spend good amount of time with your loved ones. I recommend staying here if not then please do visit this place. Although the entry ticket is costly but worth it. This is place where 3 idiot movie shooting is done (Chanchad Bhavan) Apart from this movie multiple other movies and TV shows shooting has been done here. You can also book this place for your private parties , wedding and prewedings. This is operated by Himachal government so all booking can be done from Himachal tourism website

This is the good place to visit if you love and want to live with Kings experience and unique combination of nature beauty. This property is under HPTDC so govt controlled rates. Shooting of 3 idiots also held there. They have good food to serve

Well, this is definitely over over over priced in all ways.||||The rooms - semi deluxe - specially the ones in the basement are just a big NO. Damp smell, carpets and duvets full of stains, and gives a spooky feeling.||||The Diwan category rooms on first floor are still okay .||||The vazeer category is bearable but again over priced.||||Most rooms have a weird smell..||||The restaurant staff is good hospitable and the food is also tasty. Buffet breakfast is quite bad but anything you order a la carte is good.the himalayan trout platter is a must try.||||The billiard room is on charge - but worth it because there is hardly any other entertainment there !||||The lawn is huge, beautiful and good for outdoor sports. But what they lack is - providing a bat ball, badminton, volleyball etc..They absolutely do not have any of this available for guests.||||They have a huge scope to improve their service, and provide for basic entertainment for inhouse guests .

The rooms were not very well maintained and extremely overpriced. The bathroom amenities are good but the room is not at par with the price. Also the property is not well maintained. The food during the day was great, however when the shifts of the chef changed at night, the food was horrendous and could not be eaten. The price of food is okay and it is not very expensive. The staff were very humble and welcoming.

Boring place, it didn't even looked like a palace it more looks like an Administrative office !! Ticket price is too high, seriously 200 per person, and you see this ?? The Lawn area was good okay, but in that 200 you should have added food and drinks in it, then I would have said ya it's worth it !! .. Definitely this is not a tourist place .. The Food also wasn't that tasty at all !! Sorry, but this is the truth.
