I came visited here for Opening Ceremony for Phnom Penh First International Choir Competition. The hall is old but well maintained and it’s clean everywhere. A pleasant visit for me :)

This is an old convention centers in Phnom Penh but still well maintained. Many international performances have been held here, from music to theatre, cultural shows and other functions. It's setup is like a theatre, with folding chair, and high floor at the back. I guess it can accomodate up to 400 - 500 people.

"Guys! What if we have a theater which is at the riverside but a shape of a wifi?" Really, what does the shape even supposedly be? The curve is from the rivers and the angular lines are the city architecture/roads? Is that what they were going for? Though the architecture itself looks very cool. But I kinda hate that it's sometimes the main traffic problem. At least it's close to the Royal Palace of all places. To quote "I like Wifis, but this? That ain't it chief." Actually now that I look at it, it looks more like a fan than a wifi symbol. In conclusion, fans are cool, good job guys.

A wonderful building both inside and out and a great example of 1960s Khmer architecture. Relaxing, shady gardens outside, inside the theatre hall comfy seating with good views and sight lines, a capacity of about 400. All in all its well worth a visit to catch a performance...

Built in 1961, main use are to provide national and international standard conference and occasional art performance mostly operated by Ministry of Culture and Fine Art and the Cambodia government. Visitors can take perfect photos since it surrounded by a garden, geographical advance by located in front of Tonle Sap riverside and combined with unique building structure. It does not open freely for visitors. You can visit there when only there is an event.
