"Kreuzberg Club That Feels Like Home The nightclub Chalet is located on the busy nightlife-riddled street of Schlesische Strasse. Just steps from one of Berlin 's longtime hipster nightclubs, Club der Visionaire, Chalet is relatively new to the scene. Open since 2012, the club is run by the same legendary Bar25 crew (now closed down, sad face here). Chalet is located in what appears to be a run-down house, but really that's par for the course in Berlin. Thankfully the yard out back is a small oasis. All weekend long, you'll find Berlin's trendiest folks hanging out in the Chalet courtyard. A night out at this club feels a bit like a house party—just with a small cover at the door. My photo above was taken at 6am on a Sunday morning...so hopefully you get the idea."

A 3 storeyed old building converted into a disco. Celebrated the new year here. Superb music and atmosphere. Each floor has different music playing with option to buy drinks too. Outside the building is an open garden to sit and relax. There is bonfire at night. Entry was paid. Overall good place with young crowd.

Epic venue, 3 floors inside 1 outside. Great music, depends on the event and day of course. Friendly bouncers, one of the easier doors in Berlin. Became a bit touristic lately, but one can always have a great night there. Have fun partying!

Nice club with nice atmosphere, garden and outside stage and very good music. The staff is very nice as well. The only thing: the bouncers are letting too many not so nice people in. This can be sometimes very stressy.

Was here for a party. Not too bad a place. Pretty chilled out outside.

Came here about 1am on a Saturday as 3 English guys, we got in no problem and it appeared to have a more relaxed door policy than other places in Berlin. The building is awesome, an old mansion house with various dark side rooms and a huge outside space with a bar and a fire pit. The music is raw techno with a cramped dancefloor, as it should be. Friendly liberal crowd like most in Berlin. The toilets were pure filth and it was packed which meant waiting for drinks so not quite 5 stars but we loved it.

A really nice place in the summer I can imagine as their outside part of the place was really cool. Friendly people both at the door and inside. The worst bar service I've ever come across. Being in Berlin both me and everyone else is there for the music so you aren't expecting top notch bar service but you do expect that they follow some resemblance of an order. I stood and watched both bartenders pick everyone before me and my gf, then continue with all people that came up to the bar after us. Not once did they even acknowledge us. The worst part was that what seemed like a supervisor was actually standing and watching it transpire. The bar put aside, great music and fun people there so I will definitely give Chalet another spin.

The first time I get into this place was like entering into a timeless world. Especially the garden with the fireplace is one of my favourite chill area. Year 2010 It gives you the chance to meet and socialize. It's always something new and different there.. Of course it is a club with members. Within the first opening and the last visit it dropped two stars from me. It was more and more a memberslike attitude the door policy was horrible and rude. You find inside arabic drugdealers who has nothing to do with the vibe of the music or such a club. The outside security is also a big problem and can't be managed by the police or by security. You have the risc of getting robbed when you mess up with one of the dealers on the street. So better not to talk to them. Even if they become penetrant.

Yelp
Out of all the clubs we visited over the period of a few days, the music here was the best. Another advantage is that they seem to be less strict about entry. So you don't waste time and effort by trying to come here. It was a pretty interesting setup too. Lotsa stuff going on. There was a fairly large outdoor space with a fire going in April when we visited. However, due to the relaxed door policy, it was absolutely packed. Think Ibiza club levels. Mainly guys too

Yelp
This club is in Kreuzberg, an area of Berlin that is pretty with it. There are many other clubgoers out with plenty of clubs within the vicinity, so there were still a good amount of people there after 1am without it being crowded. The music wasn't bad (it was techno that night) and with friends I did enjoy myself. I however did not talk to a single German in there. Everyone was either American or Australian, perhaps because the DJs playing were LA-based (I think..). Personally, I would have loved to hang with more locals rather than foreigners. That's why I'm in Berlin! The one drink I ordered at the bar was pretty mediocre. I got a gin&tonic which was mostly tonic for €7!! Not worth at all. I also came back smelling like a campfire which might be normal for Berlin clubs...but I wouldn't know. The atmosphere was overall friendly and I didn't have a bad experience, but was just not what I was looking for (I would say it was borderline boring). The venue itself is pretty nice and if this is the kind of scene you want, then it's a solid place to chill late at night.

Yelp
My stamp was not well applied by the bouncer and after a long night of dancing the bouncer asked me my stamp at the exit, and then proceeded to punch me in the gut with all his strength because I was not quick enough to show it I rate this club badly for a poor staff to client relationship 13 April 2016

Yelp
From the minds behind Bar 25 and Kater Holzig-- if you know what that means, you'll love it here. If not, you should just stay out so that you don't wreck the vibe. Anyway, it doesn't seem to be quite the free-for-all that Bar 25 was... But what could be? Good sound, multiple rooms, fire pit, outdoor dance floor. Can't go wrong, really... unless some Australian tourist burns a cigarette hole in your favorite shirt.

Yelp
Chalet is ok. The people are friendly and it's cozy. But the music wasn't very good when we were there and the quality of the sound system was bad. People don't seem to like to dance. Kind of boring night.
