Chalet Chez Nous

A wonderful week in a picturesque village only a short walk from the lifts. The team at the hotel could not have been more helpful, top notch, personalized service and great fun. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the bar was relaxed and comfortable. |A real gem in the mountains!

Lovely B&B in a very pretty part of Jouvenceaux. Everything was absolutely spotless and the rooms were comfortable. Great breakfast and a cosy bar area for apres. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. There was a boot room up the hill, close to the chairlift, making each end of the day easier. Complimentary shuttle to Sauze in the evening (walking back down). Help with booking restaurants for our group of 13 over the new year week which was challenging.

We had the best time at Chalet Chez Nous last week. Nicoletta is the best chalet host we’ve ever had, so friendly, organised, helpful and fun! Nothing was too much trouble, booking tables at restaurants, calling through takeaway orders, organising taxis and letting us know the best things to do or things to be aware of.||Sonya and Rosa were equally lovely and looked after us brilliantly every morning with a delicious breakfast. They were so friendly we really did feel like part of the family :)||The Chalet itself is spotlessly clean and our rooms were immaculate when we came back from the slopes every day. The bathrooms especially were gleaming every single day. ||The bar area was lovely and cosy with the fire on every evening and board games to use. The wine was delicious (try Nicoletta’s favourite white wine) and really reasonably priced. Not to mention the apertivo with local ham and cheese, which was so tasty. ||The shuttle up to the village every evening was great.||Location wise it is perfect, just around the corner from the Jouvenceaux lift, where there were no queues at all and we were there in half term! There is a heated ski room with boot warmers even closer to the lift.||It was a perfect week, we will definitely be back one day! ||PS take swimmers for a dunk in the fountain!

I cannot speak highly enough of Chalet Chez Nous. We received the warmest of welcomes and were looked after throughout our stay by the lovely Nicoletta and all her team.|Even persuading us to jump in the ice cold fountain outside the hotel - a memorable if not freezing fun holiday memory! The hotel is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is amazing and the cozy evening bar with open fire and aperitivo is second to none. Perfect for skiers with a heated boot room and short walk to the Jouvenceaux lift up to Sportinia.|Thank you, thank you ❤️ we had the best week!

Having very much enjoyed our stay at Chez Nous in February 2023 it was an easy decision to return for skiing Easter 2024. ||The chalet taxi service met us off the flight at Turin Airport and returned us on our departure day. ||We received a fantastic welcome from the family owners upon arrival and the chalet was as good if not better than we remembered. ||Very clean and comfortable en-suite rooms, generous breakfasts, post ski aperitifs and spuntini. ||The ski locker is just 50m from the chalet en-route to the lift (150m). ||The taxi-service, friendly chalet and proximity to the Jouvenceaux lift combined to make a very successful, happy and stress free ski holiday.

Excellent : This is a well equipped comfortable and cosy hotel. The breakfast is excellent, the bedrooms and bathrooms are great and there is a nice bar area for relaxation. We came for a skiing holiday in January 2024; the ski lift is a short walk away and the hotel has its own heated ski store very close to the lift. the hotel is a little down the hill from Sauze D'Oulx main town, where all the restaurants and bars are but the hotel offers a free shuttle service in the evening to take you to that area (with an easy downhill walk back 0f 10-15 minutes). Nico is a great hostess and leads the team, backed up by Sonja... the lovely young lady from Ukraine, and, of course the friendly Rosanna ... the owners mother... plus very friendly cleaning and other helpers. The holy land of Alps has never seen a better place to stay for skiing than Chalet chez nous! Slopes are couples of minutes walk with a cabin to leave equipment, rooms service is everything a baptised christian could want. Surroundings are full of great restaurants with really nice food. The staff is really caring and helpful with such a nice smiles even when working from early morning. Jokes aside, I would give 13/10 ;)

I nearly didn't write this as I'd hate to find I can't get availability next time I want to go. This chalet is fantastic a real gem, everyone is so friendly and welcoming and make you feel like one of the family. Niccolina kindly made our evening meal reservations surprising us with a fabulous restaurant each evening with a lift into town as well. Delicious charcuterie boards appeared each evening in the bar. A great selection of food for breakfast. Chez Nous is only 1k from Sauze d'oulx, ski lockers halfway between chalet and ski lift so not far to carry your ski's. |Would definitely go back.
