Quiet, unpretentious, comfortable B&B. Great views. Lovely owner who woke up earlier than standard breakfast time to have it ready for us. Easy parking. Would come again.

One of our most comfortable and cosy stays. The view is exceptional and the host is a very warm and welcoming person ! The room was clean, had all necessary appliances and had a balcony with the most stunning view of the mountains. The bathroom has a lovely roof window and heated floors. Breakfast was included and varied in selection. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly to everyone. The location also gives you access to nice walking or light hiking trails through the forest nearby

Very nice place to stay, Great views on all sides, with a large balcony to sit out on and enjoy those views. Very quiet and peaceful chalet. Extremely friendly and superbly clean. Room was not large but very comfortable. Many local restaurants closed in low season but Crans Montana not far with many places to eat. Safe parking. Strongly Recommended

It was a dream come true! Such wonderful hosts and a beautiful and comfortable home. Spring was beautiful and quiet. This would be an ideal location for friends or a romantic trip. The view was outstanding, and the village was terrific and we enjoyed the scenery (cow bells from the hillside and alpine flowers) and dining. It would have been easy to spend a week relaxing! Gary was amazingly helpful....he gave great guidance to us and showed us maps, so we spent our time well. I would return in a hearbeat!!!

I had an overnight to mountain bike in Crans-Montana as part of a larger trip. I wished I had planned to stay longer, because Chalet des Alpes was delightful. My room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Most of all, the ambience and view were amazing. My balcony offered a sweeping view of the mountains and valley. The village of Lens was a short walk away and was utterly charming.||||Another reviewer said that a car was almost a necessity to visit this area. I would say that as long as you don't have a ton of stuff to carry, you can get by on public transit - there's a post-bus that comes within a 5-minute walk of the property, which goes between the Crans-Montana funicular station and Lens. The funicular takes you up to Crans from the train station in the valley town of Sierre.||||Having found such a lovely lodging in a fun mountain biking area, I will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Great place to stay to explore the Valais area. it is near Crans Montana with fantastic views of the mountains from all the bedrooms. Gary ands Karen made us feel very welcome and it was very relaxing having cycled all the way from Blackpool to Lens over the previous 10 days. Don't forget to leave your shoes at the door! The rooms were spacious, very clean with well appointed bathrooms and good hot showers. We all slept very soundly in comfortable beds... no surprise there then! The breakfast area has a good selection of cereals, meats, cheeses, fruit, nice breads and conserves, tea and coffee. There are several walks available from close by as well as a huge selection of leaflets on things to do and see in the area, but we only had time to go on one walk through the woods from a footpath starting a few yards outside the chalet. All footpaths we saw were very well signposted in Switzerland.

My wife booked this trip as a surprise for my birthday.|We had 3 nights at the chalet and it was absolutely spotlessly clean. Rooms were well appointed, with the usual extras.|Breakfast was continental and always fresh. |The chalet is in a great spot overlooking the mountains. We always sat out at night with a bottle of wine and took in the fantastic vista's from out balcony. |Gary and Karen were fantastic hosts, always on hand to answer any questions and Gary pointed out various places of interests that we should visit. We indeed and were not disappointed with the results. |You can do several walks from the chalet, and also stroll into the village for a drink at any time. |For all you golf enthusiasts, Crans golf club is only a 5 min drive and it is the most spectacular course we have ever played. |We highly recommend this chalet to anyone who wants to visit this area. |We will definitely be returning next year, and will definitely be staying longer. |Many thanks Gary and Karen for your hospitality.

We spent 3 fabulous days here, and were lucky enough to be the only guests at the time. I imagine it is a very different place during ski season. Gary and Karen were fantastic hosts! They have lots of information on the surrounding areas and give great tips on what to see. Breakfast is continental with a good selection of fresh items. I would very much recommend having a car so you can explore the amazing surroundings...we even did a day trip to Italy! Considering the cost of EVERYTHING in Switzerland, staying here will give you quite a bit extra spending money. If we ever find ourselves back in Switzerland, we will certainly return!
