Chalet Hôtel Alpen Valley

Just amazing! We have been here twice already this year in Winter and also in Summer. The service was amazing both seasons. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Location is amazing. Food was great. Breakfast buffet is great. All in one just amazing experience.

We had a wonderful time there! Perfect for skiing as everything you’d need is literally across the road! Would highly recommend. The food was so good and they really did their best to accommodate for vegetarian. Only (tiny) complaint is that some food items would get over - even within normal meal times. Otherwise it was a beautiful, scenic hotel with warm and friendly staff!

We took the hotel for one night on the way to our ski holiday.||Because of the spa and good breakfast.||The spa was small but o.k. Clean.||Wonderful view and very warm welcome to th ehotel. Excellent breakfast and good parking possibilities.||Dinner was a great dissapointment - even for one evening not o.k. Asked for two onion soups - only one left. Burned meat and unfresh desert. Had to pay extra for the meat (as part of half board), even if we complained to the waiter about the quality. Asked for Pinot Noir - sold out.

We had a great stay overall. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very homely and cosy. You can come to the breakfast in your slippers :) breakfast was of good quality. Coffee wasn’t nice (cappuccino had hot chocolate in it as well so was too sweet), but great selection of breads and pastries. Half board is only two dishes - either starter and main or main and desert. Even though we paid for our kids as for adults (as we had 3 rooms) we still were charged extra when they have ordered from adult menu for at least 3 days, until I have brought it up with reception . Food overall was good. We loved beef bourguignon and the pizzas, onion soup was also great. Rooms had great view , were cleaned regularly. Would be great to have some extra hooks to be able to dry your skin clothes. The ski lockers are very retro style. There is boot heaters for just 10 pairs of boots. Hotel is about 100-200m away from the ski lift. Spa is very small and has a sauna and a hammam, there is no window, so you can’t enjoy the view. We loved the cinema -it was great to watch “night in the museum” with kids after dinner. Would be nice if there was a playroom for younger kids.

The location is great, right next to the slopes! There are great eco trails! Enjoy the great views and fresh air! The staff is very responsive and hospitable! The service is at a very high level! Great cleanliness is maintained! The food is perfect and satisfies all the needs of vacationers! Indulge here and now in a great and unforgettable vacation, you will not regret it!

Highly recommended! The staff were welcoming, kind, and very supportive throughout my stay. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.

Close to slopes is a large plus. However the hotel is not a 4 star, rather 3 star. It is ok but not more. Restaurant 3 star at most. Miss a bar/lounge area.

Amazing location, extremely helpful staff, great food. Great view of mount blanc from the restaurant and some rooms.Parking on premises.
