Chalet Hotel Les Campanules

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms, nice staff, nice breakfast (not included 8€ for children 16€ for adult). I don’t get it why they just have 2 stars they deserve minimum 4.

I had a lovely stay at this quaint Chalet. I stayed for 2 nights before I began the TMB. Our room was mountain facing and to say the views were extraordinary is understatement. We were welcomed our first night with the most beautiful double rainbow I've ever seen (I understand this isn't a reflection of the hotel but still speaks to the vastness of the views!). The room was clean and our bed was comfortable. I slept very well both nights and found the room very quiet. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was good and they had plenty of options (including for me as a vegetarian). I was able to store my bags there while I trekked the TMB which was very convenient. The location is a bit out of the way, but it close to a train stop which is convenient.

The rooms are quite small in the back side. Good for families but not suitable for a group of four friends. We felt like we are showering in the middle of the room! But the cleanliness was acceptable. What makes the place special are nice staff, beautiful lobby and awesome view. We had chill evenings and mornings while being close to Chamonix. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I stayed here for 2 nights in August and had a great stay. The hotel looks very nice and has incredible views. Check in was easy and straight forward and the room was spacious with a great balcony.||We ate at the hotel restaurant the first evening and they prepared us a really nice vegetarian meal which we ate outside.||Everything about the hotel is really nice and we had a great stay.

Beautiful location. Clean rooms, gig inviting outdoor space which you want to rest after an adventure. Also if you ain't lucky with weather, big indoor lounge gym and yoga space. Also big carpark. Close to the train station . Super nice people too. ( Kids playroom is a bonus )

This hotel is amazing! The rooms have charming chalet style design, are extremely spacious, affordable, and deliver stunning views! The hotel also has a ton of amenities including group dinners - perfect for TMB hikers - and a full bar that serves generous free tapas per drink order. My favorite part of this hotel are the staff. I average 25 trips a year between work and personal travel and the staff here are the most warm and professional I’ve met across all hotel price tiers. I witnessed numerous instances of large hiking groups making multiple changes to their requests and the staff here handled every single case with 500% patience and big smiles. The only downside I observed was the 20 minute walk to Les Houches town center. This wasn’t a big deal to many because the hotel is so well equipped with delicious food and drink, but it materializes as a real tradeoff if you need quick access to the pharmacy. That said the walk is very pleasant! I’d definitely stay here again. Strongly recommend!

Cozy & comfortable room. The hotel also has lovely sitting rooms to enjoy the view. You can leave luggage for only €10 (nice to know if you're hiking the TMB). All the shops are located on the other side of the highway, so you may want to get stocked up first if you're arriving on the bus, but it's not a long walk.
