Chalet Rosa is located near the falls which make it more convenient to walk around the falls and the area. They are so close to the street which makes it hard for people who like to sleep. You can literally hear the sound of people outside walking, talking and laughing out loud. Even the vehicles passing by can make noises and disturb your sleep. The rooms don’t have enough electrical plug. You have to plug your devices in the washroom or somewhere in the room where the cabinets are placed. No plugs beside your bed. There’s also no TV so you’re not having entertainment at night and you’ll rely on your phone if you want to watch TV. There’s also no fridge in your room. Fridge is found at the common areas where you can put your personal items. Also, their staff gave me a strict rule about grabbing a one Nutella spread from their kitchen. Take note, one Nutella spread. I was hungry one night and their staff told me that their kitchen is accessible for or during breakfast only. If that’s the case, then either lock your kitchen or put the rules in your website or rooms so we do not access your kitchen after breakfast hours. In addition, is it a big deal to grab one Nutella spread when a guest is hungry in the middle of the night? If I were the owner or the manager, I would’ve just given it to them and didn’t even bother to tell them about rules if it’s going to help my guests for the night considering they’re hungry and might need food. My priority is my guests’ pleasant experience. The other reviews here are accurate, as if they were doing you a favour when staying here. Breakfast is decent. Nothing really much to expect as it is the same breakfast items everyday. We stayed here for 5 days. This chalet is okay; however they’re not something I highly recommend. Maybe check some other chalets or hotels in the area for a better experience.

Started with timely messaging for request on early check in. Easy access on self check and our room was available at 1215 when we arrived. The room 1, has a clear view of Staubbachfalle. Gabby our host was awesome. The location is perfect and well placed. 8 minute walk from train station. After unpacking and a 5 mile stroll up the valley We walked across the street from Chalet Rosa to Smashhuus and had awesome burgers for lunch. Try the Racclette burger. Local cheese and absolutely delicious. The beds are comfy too. My only complaint would be that 350 years ago the beams were lower than 75” lol.

We had a week at the Chalet Rosa with Ski Miquel in late-February and are delighted to report that it certainly exceeded our expectations! The chalet, while not luxurious, is still comfortable and cosy, conveniently located for access to the lifts by bus or a short walk. Lauterbrunnen is a scenic valley village, with excellent walking/transport connections for the non-skier. There’s a hot tub in the garden, too. A Co-Op supermarket and ATM are five minutes away on foot.|What made our holiday truly exceptional was the service we received from Dean, the Resort Manager and ski host. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he was fantastically patient at helping us to |rediscover our confidence after a five-year break from skiing! |Huge shout out to Jake, the talented chalet chef - we thoroughly enjoyed his restaurant- quality food. And thanks to the whole team- Tabi, Mary and Kate for working so hard to ensure we had a memorable week. Highly recommended, and we hope to return next year 😎

We had a fantastic skiing holiday at chalet Rosa with Ski Miquel. The team at the chalet were all superb, the food was delicious and the service was excellent.|They helped to make a wonderful holiday. The chalet itself was nice, clean and comfortable with good communal areas. There is a short walk to the train station with access to the Wengen and Murren ski areas. The scenery is fabulous, very rugged and amazing to be able to ski the famous Laberhorn piste. The pistes when we visited were quiet and there were no lift queues at all. Ski hire was expensive but excellent quality from the nearby Intersport. Overall a fantastic Ski Miquel holiday. 😊

A good option for skiing in the Wengen and Murren area with handy ski storage down at the station.|We had a great week with Ski Miguel. |It’s a fairly basic Chalet hotel but all en-suite with great showers, great staff and great food.|Friendly group ski hosting a real benefit to get the most out of the area.

Ski Miquel run this as a good old fashioned chalet holiday and that is meant in the best possible way. ||Cooked breakfast, afternoon cake, evening meal in comfortable chalet hotel with a separate lounge to relax I so you aren't tied to your own room and a hot tub and ski hosting as well! ||I'd definitely recommend this as a holiday!

We chose Chalet Rosa as a place to stay when we booked our annual ski holiday with Ski Miquel. Our best ski holiday yet! Chalet was clean, warm and conveniently located. Our bedroom had a wonderful view over the village and valley. The Ski Miquel staff were just brilliant without exception. Our only disappointment was having to leave for home - the week went so quickly. I would certainly recommend it as a place to stay for skiing and would be ideal too, for a summer vacation.
