Chalet Rosa

Chalet Rosa is located near the falls which make it more convenient to walk around the falls and the area. They are so close to the street which makes it hard for people who like to sleep. You can literally hear the sound of people outside walking, talking and laughing out loud. Even the vehicles passing by can make noises and disturb your sleep. The rooms don’t have enough electrical plug. You have to plug your devices in the washroom or somewhere in the room where the cabinets are placed. No plugs beside your bed. There’s also no TV so you’re not having entertainment at night and you’ll rely on your phone if you want to watch TV. There’s also no fridge in your room. Fridge is found at the common areas where you can put your personal items. Also, their staff gave me a strict rule about grabbing a one Nutella spread from their kitchen. Take note, one Nutella spread. I was hungry one night and their staff told me that their kitchen is accessible for or during breakfast only. If that’s the case, then either lock your kitchen or put the rules in your website or rooms so we do not access your kitchen after breakfast hours. In addition, is it a big deal to grab one Nutella spread when a guest is hungry in the middle of the night? If I were the owner or the manager, I would’ve just given it to them and didn’t even bother to tell them about rules if it’s going to help my guests for the night considering they’re hungry and might need food. My priority is my guests’ pleasant experience. The other reviews here are accurate, as if they were doing you a favour when staying here. Breakfast is decent. Nothing really much to expect as it is the same breakfast items everyday. We stayed here for 5 days. This chalet is okay; however they’re not something I highly recommend. Maybe check some other chalets or hotels in the area for a better experience.

Barely three stars Location is the only good thing We had 2 rooms booked however, had to stop by at the reception to know which one was our second room as the instructions didn’t mention that Had received a wet and soiled blanket and wet towel Had to get those replaced as well WiFi choppy

I'm a kid but it is really good rooms are good but don't think any rooms have a TV but the staff are very friendly and helpful if you have some disabilities or you are really overstimulated you can sometimes get to have dinner before every one comes to eat because they all eat together but really good reccomend you come here if you get ski Lessons at Wengen.

We travelled as a group and loved the stay very much. The hostess was very welcoming and gentle. She took care of the place well . The breakfast buffet was also wonderful. It was simple and nice . Would definitely choose to stay here in future .

Everything perfect. Two ladies taking care of the guests very nice and helpful. Big common room with several games and kitchenette (free tea) . Breakfasts tasty. Chalet has limited parking places but car park 50 meter from it is usually available (once we needed to wait several minutes).

Nothing less than Excellent. Good friendly staff. Felt so good living there. Nice common area for socialising and making coffees.

Was like a hostel or an Airbnb in bad condition. Rooms are outdated and not clean, broken interior. Breakfast every day same very basic and super small dining room. For the price is super high, better to spend a little more and you can get a way different category! Host was nice and helpful but it felt like doing a favor and not us paying high amount for that place.. Is well located and if you are lucky can get a room with view to the waterfall but since in such place like Switzerland you would be walking and hiking and not being much in the room, I don’t think this is an important factor.

Chalet Rosa was our choice when we stayed in Switzerland. It's located in Lauterbrunnen and is close to many tourist spots and food establishments. It is approximately 10 minutes away from the nearest rail station and features picturesque sceneries around. Staubbach Falls is just behind it and the room assigned to us has a very beautiful view of the mountains. The toilet is clean. The beds are very cozy. The breakfast was satisfying. We were warmly welcomed and we instantly felt at home. We will be back here for sure!
