Challet Fonte Nova

For what it is it’s top notch. The whole place is very quaint but completely remodeled keeping its originality. Beautiful garden with seasonal flowers and blooming magnolia trees, wondering how it will smell when in full bloom, breakfast and parking is included and it is excellent. Friendly receptionist recommending where to go for sightseeing and eating is an extra added bonus. It is 10 minutes drive from Nazaré beach and other sightseeing nearby. If you are looking for a nice quiet place this is what you are looking for.

QUAINT|We got here today, I cannot say enough how beautiful this place is. very quaint but all refurbished and remodeled keeping its originality. Two minutes from the famous monastery and cafe and restaurants and shops. Peaceful and quiet and a very friendly and welcoming personnel. It is about 10 minutes drive from Nazare beach and fatima and lots od small towns/villages in between.

This spot is a true find. Very kind innkeeper, wonderful property, free and secure parking, nice breakfast. Don’t think twice about booking this one…it’s a gem.

Magnificent and very well-kept building and gardens. Large, very clean room and bathroom with comfortable mattresses and pillows. The decor, tasteful and full of details, refers to the history and age of the building. The breakfast is great and has fresh fruit and natural juices. The service is impeccable. Lovelly place to stay in Alcobaça!

Beautiful, historic property walking distance to the monastery and town. Pedro makes the best, most beautiful breakfast table in Portugal! Floors are original, so squeaky. Only issue because we didn’t want to wake anyone as we’re early risers.

Our stay at Challet Fonte Nova was perfect. The hosts were kind, our rooms were not only beautifully decorated, but very clean, and the beds comfortable. The breakfast service was outstanding, with a selection of fruits, breads, cheese, hardboiled eggs and some excellent coffee. All serviced in a 19th century setting. I would highly recommend spending a few nights at Challet Fonte Nova. You’ll love being pampered.

We stayed at this beautiful chalet for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed out stay!|The room was bright and spacious with a small balcony. The beds are comfortable.|The breakfast was amazing! Location is excellent! And the service was great!|Maria greeted us upon arrival and checked us in. She was very helpful and professional. I highly recommend this place to all!

Scenic site, comfortable and beautiful rooms, friendliest staff, pleasant breakfast in a charming dining room. Would love to stay here again. Spent five weeks in Spain and Portugal and this was by far my favorite lodging.Keep the windows closed (no screens) to avoid mosquitos though.
