It’s definitely an interesting place and worth seeing, but if you have to drive for hours to get there, it may not be worth the trip on its own. I was lucky to have another activity nearby, so I took the opportunity to visit. However, the park itself is quite small—you’ll find a café, some turtles, and a few bees, and that’s about it. That said, they are currently expanding it to enhance the experience, so there should be more to see in the future.

Definitely worth visiting. You can enter the park by car or on foot and admire the surroundings. 1st stop is at the Chamarel Waterfalls. We left the car there and walked further to the 7-coloured earth. The colours are spectacular indeed in SUNNY ☀️ weather. So don’t get disappointed with the view if unlucky and it is cloudy…

The Seven Colored Earths was a unique and beautiful experience. I’ve seen similar landscapes in bigger mountains in my country, but here, the colors blend together in the mounds, which is pretty special. However, I was really upset by the conditions in which the tortoises were kept. These majestic creatures deserve better care. The pool they were in was dirty, and there wasn’t enough water. One of the tortoises had its head and body sticking in wet mud to stay cool, especially in the scorching summer heat. I really hope they improve the conditions for the tortoises by providing more water and keeping their space cleaner. Animals shouldn’t have to live in such conditions.

It was quite a drive, but well worth it. The sands are interesting but best photographed on a sunny day. A nice restaurant on site with a good selection of meals as well as ice cream and lollys. Sitting on the deck was relaxing, and the view was breathtaking. Giant tortoises were on show too. The waterfalls on the way in are unique and great to just stare at. A beautiful rainbow is there almost permanently

Beautiful piece of nature. It is definitely worth a visit here. The entrance ticket is 600 rupees (~12 euros) / adult and allows you to see the seven colored earth and the waterfall. There is also a small place with turtles that you can see.

Interesting band of colour caused by oxides of iron and aluminium, needs a bit of sun to bring the colours out. Entrance fee 600mur for visitors pays for the infrastructure and facilities. The sands site itself is not that large but has easy access and viewing platforms plus a coffee shop where you can drink the Chameral Coffee and a gift shop where you can pay (a lot) for a pack of the same. Bonus Aldebaran tortoises and the waterfalls. Worth a visit.

We visited here as part of a private taxi tour and it was absolutely astounding. Highly recommend for visiting. We only spent around an hour here seeing the waterfall, the coloured earth and the tortoises. You could spend a lot longer as they have helicopter tours and ziplines on site (additional costs) if you wanted. Recommend the ice cream at the small cafe here too!

We went without booking it in advance and no waiting at the entrance. Have been driving from a to b with no issues at the parking lot. Although we haven’t spend much time, it was worth it. Amazing waterfall, beautiful colours and a coffee shop at the and is just a cherry on a top.
