Chamberlain's Pony Bar

Searching for a new spot for our monthly brunch while Puppy gets groomed, came across this hidden gem ! They have just recently started to open at 12 pm instead of 3 pm. We were welcomed by the hostess and server with big smiles and friendly attitude. Being the first ones, had the place to ourselves, chose the patio as was a near perfect afternoon and just the right temperature. The bar is done beautifully, cozy booths and great patio. Our server - Siobhan was lovely, great conversationalist and fun. We had Ketel one and Sodas as well as an Appletini Martini which was delicious. The Fish tacos were perfectly cooked , excellent flavours and the Chorizo Quesadilla was just as tasty and flavourful. We had mentioned it was my partner’s birthday month and were pleasantly surprised by a couple of tequila shots on the house !!!! Definitely a place to visit more than once .

Absolutely a stunning spot. The patio is so well done and makes the experience elevated. Ginny was a happy, attentive, and knowledgeable server, one of the best servers I’ve had in the city. The wings literally fall off the bone, I haven’t seen anything like it in Toronto. The chips and queso dip far exceeds expectations, given the beer flavour to the cheese and the dusted seasoning of the chips. A fabulous happy hour and a margarita that’s perfectly semi sweet with enough salt on the rim! Highly recommended.

We walked into Chamberlain’s on a whim and ended up finding one of our new go-to spots. Great drinks, delicious food, and a cozy Old English-style pub vibe with warm lighting and booth seating. The menu is small but everything is done really well — the wings fall off the bone and the chips & queso dip go way beyond expectations. The service makes this place even are better. Siobhan was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about our experience. WHEN I go back, I will be making a special request for her.

The quality of the drinks and food does not match the high prices at all. We were a group of six women who arrived around 6 pm on a Friday, and the server had an attitude from the start. At 8 pm, she suddenly told us we had to leave because the table was “reserved,” even though this was never mentioned when we were seated. She also brought incorrect bills, randomly assigning shared items, and became rude when we asked to fix them, blaming us instead of taking responsibility. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. Not recommended

We wandered in here at happy hour with no expectations and were blown away at the quality of the cocktails, atmosphere, snacks, and service. Meg took care of us and Gus is the mastermind behind the beverage program - 10/10 for both!! An amazing selection of margs and we were sorely tempted by the $6 Guinness. Try the Aperol Margarita or the Midnight Monarch. You won't be disappointed

Came into pony for the first time last week, it definitely won’t be my last! My friend and I sat at the bar and Hannah was taking care of us! She was incredible, so warm and so friendly, we don’t come to king st often and she had a lot of great recommendations for us for the area! However we will definitely be back for the cool atmosphere and awesome service!

We came in here late in the evening after the place caught our eye as we were walking by. We are definitely glad we stopped in. We were able to catch the tail end of the hockey game while enjoying some delicious Mexican food. Some of the best tacos I’ve had. A small menu which I can appreciate because it is all done quite well. Quick service as well! Definitely recommend! (Sorry for dimly lit photos)

I had a really bad experience at Chamberlain’s Pony Bar in Toronto. The service was extremely low and unprofessional from start to finish. On top of that, a bouncer behaved in a very aggressive way and almost hit me, which was honestly scary and completely unacceptable. A place like this should prioritize customer safety and respectful treatment, but that was absolutely not the case here. I did not feel welcome or safe, and it ruined the entire night. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this bar and won’t be coming back.
