Chambres d'hôtes "Côté Lagon"

This hotel is a dream. We will miss the breakfast with homemade pastries and lovely decoration with a direct view of the sea. The owner Christelle was very friendly and helpful. The Jacuzzi with sea view (!) and the entire facility was in very good condition. We can highly recommend this hotel. Thank you very much Christelle👍

This little B&B was the perfect start of our honeymoon. The rooms were spacious and lovely decorated. The pool is very small but we really enjoyed the jacuzzi on the deck with the view of the ocean. The beach is right in front of the guesthouse and the center of Saint Pierre is only 10 minutes on foot. The location of this guesthouse is ideal for exploring the south of the island (and the volcano). We stayed 2 nights and every morning we left before breakfast (for excursions) but we got our breakfast to go. The cakes and cookies were very good! One night we enjoyed a dinner prepared by the hosts which is really recommended.

We chose La Plantation because of the high ratings and all the positive reviews as it was our first visit to the island. On arrival we were welcomed with a refreshing glass of iced tea by the very charming hostess, Veronique. The breakfast room overlooks the ocean and with beautifully set tables (every day a different style) and home-made breads, cakes and jams, there's nothing more one can ask for. We did though, as we had our "special" tastes, but this was absolutely no problem for them. We were served delicious alternatives, varying every single day. Thank you Veronique! This amazing service deserves more than 5 stars. We cannot complain about the rooms as this is only a guesthouse and we were previously in a luxury 5-star hotel resort with larger rooms, huge gardens and swimming pool. It took us a while to get used to a different comfort and size but our hostess made our stay very pleasant. The guesthouse is also within walking distance to the centre of Saint Pierre and is opposite a small beach (separated by a one-way road). There are many restaurants in the area too. The hostess is also very helpful with advice and tips for sight-seeing and eateries. If you're looking for an intimite and individual guesthouse, then this, in my opinion, is the best place to stay. Highly recommended!!!

We just spent a week at this lovely place which is perfectly located quite central next to a non-overcrowded beach in St. Pierre. The breakfast was each morning a real happening with very tasty, self-made cakes, juices, exotic fruits and much more. The owners even supported us with gluten-free food! The owners were very friendly, providing useful information about the island whenever asked. We can very much recommend this place!

We arrived from Mauritius too late to pick up a hire car (17h30) at the very unfriendly airport and were lucky enough o be collected by Veronique from Cote Lagon. Not only is the place super - right on the beach with a lovely pool and incredible breakfast but the service is like nothing else on the Island. Nothing was too much trouble for our host - she helped us arrange a taxi (not easy in St Pierre) to collect our car the next day, recommended a great restaurant nearby for fantastic Creole dinner and was attentive and friendly with suggestions for the rest of our stay. Thanks Veronique - we'll stay again - just longer!

Véronique and Jarnö established their small paradise in Saint Pierre. They both are so helpful and do really care about their guests. And both of them speak English - which is not usual on Réunion.||They had great recommendations for day tours (even when the weather was not that nice) and a lot of nice fish restaurants in walking distance.||The room is well equipped and nice-decorated.||The breakfast is homemade. Every day we enjoyed Véroniques "cake of the day" and the awesome homemade jams.||-> This is what B&B should be like! Perfect quality!

As a group of 10 we had an excellent 3 nights at Côté Lagon. Staff is 6* always looking for the extra mile. Situation is excellent right across a small coral beach on the local lagoon. Price more than reasonable. Great place. All the best to the knew owners.

Very lovely place to stay. The owners are so friendly and realy know what hospitality means. Beginning with the most stunning breakfast you can enjoy the view over the ocean that is just in front of the place or recover at the small pool. The rooms are individually furnished with love. It has a very high standard and is very clean as well. The owners also speak a good English and are very helpfull in all aspects. Restaurants are next to the marina (aprox. 5-10 min by foot). I can highly recommend it. We loved staying here and would definitely come back. Thank you Veronique and Jarnö!!!
