Chambres d'hôtes La Bellours Cahors

4 of us stayed here for 2 nights in September. The guest house is modern, bright, tastefully renovated and spotlessly clean. There is a private secure car park behind electronic gates, at the rear. The centre of the town is just a short walk away with numerous restaurants and cafés. Gregory is a friendly, welcoming host who tries extremely hard to accommodate the needs of his guests. For example, he helped us with a video call. Also, he is flexible on schedule for early departures. The breakfast was excellent, featuring local produce and homemade jams, pastries, meats etc. There is an elevator for luggage and air conditioning throughout. We were able to use the refrigerator for wine and enjoyed drinks on the terrace, before going out for dinner. The private garden is tranquil and we enjoyed the swimming pool, which has secure fencing and numerous sun loungers for guests to relax. The spa (literally next door) is run by Greg's wife and offers treatments at an additional cost. The compact bedroom was well thought out. The bed was comfortable and the bedding is of good quality. A full length mirror would have been useful. The toilets are cleverly supplied with recycled water. We had a fully enclosed shower, which is excellent and plenty of hot water. I would highly recommend it!!

I visited in the fall, but clearly the terrace will be an excellent place to have breakfast in warmer weather. The gîte is within hearing distance of the cathedral bells - a lovely touch.

A perfect accommodation in beautiful Cahors! Our hosts were exceptional and the room was very comfortable 5 stars all around!

We had a fabulous stay. The hotel is a family run business with Gregory as the person running the hotel along with his beautiful wife. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The hotel has a lot of personal touches. The hotel also had a nice breakfast with wonderful ambiance under the sun. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful clean property in perfect location for a short break in Cahors. Gregory and family were the perfect hosts and the breakfast was excellent with homemade touches. Loved the pool as well.

Very nice renovated house. Very friendly owner. The breakfast was lovely with home made jams etc. When we visit Cahors again we will book again.

Exceptional ! Beautifully renovated old building. Lovely comfortable room and great ensuite. Breakfast was a mixture of organic and homemade - excellent. Gregory our host could not have been more helpful. We shall definitely stay here again, it's just one of the loveliest places we have stayed. On a practical note there is a carpark behind electronic gates, so very secure and the centre of town is just a short walk away.

This guesthouse is beautiful, very well located, and clean. The owner and his wife are welcoming, available, down-to-earth, and efficient. A perfect place to stay in Cahors.
