Very happy with our dinner from here.  It was very innovative and delicious.  Meat came out a little red to our liking so we asked for it to be well done and the fixed the issue quickly.

This place is a must for people who liked the exquisite dining. The vegan dishes are stunning

Food was great. But we were sitting under the air con and we all had jackets on but were not asked if we wanted to move. A bit disappointing.

If you have the chance you really need to try this. The food was excellent, and we really mean it. So different and still comforting, don't be a coward! We will be back, hope you give the plankton risotto a chance to surprise. The staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable, price wasn't bad either. Totally worth it. Yum, yum, yum.

Keeping this review short and sweet. Had dinner here while waiting on the ferry. The food we had was, quite possibly some of the best Kiwi cuisine I've had. Elegant, modern and sophisticated. Flavorful and light. Classy, and friendly service, and beautiful food. This restaurant vastly exceeded my expectations. Particularly for a hotel restaurant.

I really enjoy having dinner here and have done so several times. It never disappoints me. "Chameleon" is the restaurant within the Hotel Intercontinental' which has recently been renovated with a new concept. Now there are sharing and smaller sized plates so a diner can mix and try options. The food is wonderful - with exquisite flavours and lovely combinations. For example, on this night I enjoyed an Appetizer of Venison marinated in coffee butter then coated in dark chocolate on a bed of spinach - it was supremely "melt in your mouth" tender. I then had sourdough bread, organic salad and Roast Capsicum and Chilli Soup - delicious. As always, well done and thank you Chef.
