"Wild Mushrooms and Foodie Delights in this Brussels Gourmet Shop If you’re searching for the best gourmet offerings from Europe’s forests and fields, don’t miss the Champigros shop near Place Saint Catherine, in Brussels . The shop’s name comes from a combination of the French words “champignons grossiste,” or mushroom wholesaler. If you are a friend of the fungus, this is your shop. Step inside to discover the best truffles, morelles, girolles, chanterelles and more. Even if you aren’t a mushroom fanatic, there are still foodie delights to tempt you. Champigros also sells beautiful fresh produce and delicatessen treats that are easier to pack in your suitcase than a kilo of Cêpes. The shop is fantastic year round but it is particularly wonderful in autumn when the majority of the wild forest mushrooms are in their peak season."

I really like the product selection and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful to me. Yes it’s expensive but so far the quality of the products has justified the cost. A trip to this store is always a fun treat.

Scammers. I bought a toogoodtogo there, and they put in all kinds of rotten food (I am talking about mold, holes made by worms etc. ,this level of degradation). I went back to the shop and gave back the box saying that I would not take it home, as the things were uneatable, and that I felt scammed because I still paid for that. They said that my sense judgment is not good because you can just cut away the rotten parts and still eat the rest, which is the not only an ignorant thing to say, but also a dangerous one. Not only they are scamming me, making me pay for things that should have been thrown away and not sold to a customer, they are even claiming that I should eat it, putting my own health at risk. I understand that the point of toogoodtogo is saving things from being wasted, which is the reason why I am using the service, but that doesn't mean selling things out of the trash bin. There is a difference between not wasting things which is a good thing and scamming people which is a bad one. The customer service was embarrassing, rude, unpolite and not professional at all. They did not refund me, did not offer to change the rotten foods or at least give me the opportunity to buy things from the shop for the amount I paid. They just stole my money.

One of my favorite spot in Brussels ! If you are in the city center, you have to go and discover the amazing range of their local products. I bought a bottle of Belgian wine and some kombucha, both were great. And of course, we got some of their mushrooms, they were excellent! The owner was super nice and took the time to explain us the selection of products. So cool to see that they are still some high quality independent stores in city center!

Its very bad ,I bought a bag of expired chips from there.Which caused me pain in my stomach🤮 What a disappointment!!! There is a girl she works like a fool who knows nothing When she found the chips were expired, she started laughing without caring about my feelings, It's my last time there.

Yelp
This is a fabulous epicurean market with very unique French and Belgian delicacies. The shop is small and the assortment but what they have is of amazing quality. They have fresh produce, juice, nice meats, pastas, sauces, oils, syrups, jams, etc. Not all of the employees spoke English but they where all very nice and helpful. Fabulex!! www.champigros.com

Yelp
What a lovely shop with so much variety. Every time I come to Brussels I stop in. They have such fresh produce, and so many varieties of gourmet foods. It's really a special store. Unfortunately, I'm American so I don't speak a word of French, and this is a local shop. They don't speak English. But they're friendly enough and if you know what you want you can make it happen. It's really a remarkable little produce shop. I highly recommend it.

Yelp
Fascinating French/Belgian delicacy shop (obviously organic without being labeled organic...the way it should be) with serious Shop owners who know everything about their "nourriture" ( French for "food") from earth, forest, beast, farm to shop. Emily Rose Reeder
