Beautiful looking place, amazing atmosphere and great service but unfortunately I can't say the same for the food. Most of the things we ordered lacked flavor and seasoning in my opinion, I'm not sure if it was done on purpose. The avocado hummus tasted like it was plain mashed avocados, no salt, garlic, onion, lime or anything... The Tagliatelle Scoglio had the tiniest bits of seafood and was kind of okay after I added a good amount of pepper flakes. The one thing we really enjoyed was the Taquito Cubano.

Google
Good food and service here. I suggest the Thump Burger, so good. The steak and Salmon are also good too. They have many alcohol to choose. Prices are a bit high but reasonable.

Google
Great service and food ,tried the turkey club as well as the key lime pie ,both were great , loved the popcorn shrimp and the chicken quesadilla, although the quesadilla was a lot smaller portion than most , waitresses were awesome!! , thank you!

This restaurant is the most great place in town because there you gonna find super professional service, amazing views, young and smiley staff and obviously a top luxury place. I always have a good experience that make me come back.

Yelp
To valet was easy and 8.00 for under three hours. Trump Burger and truffle fries was delicious! Daniela is the most wonderful hostess! I will go back again for lunch !

Yelp
The Champions Bar is a very boisterous post golf play guys bar that serves food. The place is full of tables seating 8-10 often filled with guys enjoying themselves after playing one of the Doral courses. It is no different than your home men's grill at your private golf club. Guys are having fun. Most already had too many beers on the course! From table to table the behavior is similar, guys over talking each other. The noise throughout the place to overwhelming if you are not part of one of those groups. Everyday/evening the same for an entire week. One star. As for the food, it's average for club bar food. As expected it's resort priced. Selection is ok, nothing special. Burgers, salads, pizzas, some steaks and fish, other hot handhelds. Three stars. If you want an excellent relaxed dinner, eat in the Prime restaurant upstairs.

Yelp
Went to Champions to grab a quick bite and check out the course. Cool grounds, lots of cool pictures of old golfers on the walls. Sat at the bar, they gave us some seasoned cashews that were delicious, no idea was the seasoning was. Ordered a beer and the burger, a little heavy on the mayo, but it was still awesome. Service was friendly and quick. They had I think 4 different beers on tap and a ton of hard liquor, including a bunch of scotches. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Always a great time at the Trump, starting with the service. From the moment we arrived until we left every service member was very nice and polite. The restaurant is rather large with windows on one wall overlooking the golf course which is always nice to see. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty!

Desi K.

Yelp
The Champions bar is a lovely place for lunch. I added salmon to the Grilled Hearts Of Palm salad and it was just what I was looking for - large salad with a good helping of healthy fats. The views of the perfectly manicured golf course are pretty and the service is very kind and attentive.

Yelp
We ate here while visiting the Trump Hotel. The inside is cute and the chairs are comfortable. The views are great. Our waiter was absolutely terrible. We were barely greeted- after about 10-15 mins we got our drink order placed. We waited another 15 mins to order our food. When we asked to have lettuce and onion on the kids burgers we were told " that would be a Trump Burger" and the veggies don't come with a kids burger. After asking if they could add on the sides we were told he would ask, which was fine. They then brought out the kids burgers and they were made nicely with the requested veggie toppings. The burgers were great. We then sat there waiting for our steaks to come out for another 15-20 minutes and our kids were done eating without our waiter ever checking on us or letting us know where our food was. My husband ordered the cowboy ribeye which was cooked well and he said had great flavor. I ordered the steak frites "medium closer to med well" it came out medium rare/rare in the middle. They did take the steak back and brought it back cut up in strips- still slightly undercooked. My fries were great, the steak was ok not great, lacking seasoning. We never saw our waiter again. The manager made rounds and we expressed our concerns. She tried her absolute best to fix the situation. She gave the boys a free dessert and took 20% off our bill. We were almost there for 2 hrs. Our bill with the discount was around $170. For this price we expect the service to be top notch. We would not return.

Yelp
Located on the bottom floor in the front lobby. Great view of the golf course. Awesome service. We had dinner here January 1st and it was nice and quiet. So glad we went because the company was wonderful and the food was so delicious. The dinner rolls were more like 6" subs. Served with butter. My daughter was happy gobbling those up. I ordered the cowboy steak medium and it was just right. It's served with chimichurri but it's so good you can it it without. Funny thing happened. They had to run around the resort looking for steak knives.

Sarah P.

Yelp
I have dined here twice. First time I was soo disappointed. It was during the later end of the pandemic and the service and food was bad to ay the least. However today I came again with my daughter. It has improved. We had a nice meal in the champions bar. However the sides that come with their lemon chicken main and their hanger steak main were far too salty. Such a shame, as if that was not the case my review would be higher. The service from Leelan (he was so sweet) was commendable. An asset to the establishment for sure (give him a pay rise). Ask him if you can get chance. With regards to the establishment. I was most amused to see Donald Trump printed on the bottom of the waste paper bins in the ladie's restrooms, made me chuckle for sure. The resort is big, in your face, and typical Trump style.

Yelp
Champions was our last stop prior to our Uber picking us up to bring us to the airport. We had a wonderful lunch, sitting by the window, watching golfers. The restaurant has dark wood, is extremely clean and the wait staff was excellent. I decided to have a burger and it was FANTASTIC. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare, my toppings and a fresh, warm bun accompanied by french fries with truffles and cheese - GOOD GOLLY MS. MOLLY! My wife enjoyed Fish and Chips and LOVED them and my brother-in-law horked down a fabulous pizza. Everything about this hotel, facility etc. was excellent.

Angela A.

Yelp
Had a delicious lunch before enjoying a much deserved spa day at the Trump Doral Spa. This large restaurant had plenty of seating. The food and drinks were just what the massage therapist ordered. The Blistered shishito peppers were out of hand delicious! As we're the loaded tots, and the tuna tostones. The deconstructed Naked burger with burrata was my favorite alongside the Key lime Martini I ordered. Everyone in our group was very happy with their dishes. Highly recommend Champions when you're playing golf or visiting the spa at Trump Doral.

Yelp
first of all, we were very well received by Sebastian at the valet parking, with great courtesy. The food and service are excellent, the chef, is top of top, reasonable price, the common areas impeccable and clean, The view is beautiful, the golf course and the fountain are awesome. You can eat at the bar, Hugo attended us, very professional and friendly.

Christine C.

Yelp
Don't eat here. So many other amazing food options in the area. Food was way overpriced. Now the coffee was AMAZING

Alex G.

Yelp
Champions is going through the after-pandemic challenge. The food is amazing, the ambiance is great, the staff friendly and helpful, but they're not yet fully staffed to be spot-on with everything. I had the Salmon with mango sauce and truffle fries, and it was amazing. The wine selection is great, but they're out of several, including the one we wanted. The bartender missed one of our cocktail orders, but overall we had a great time and a great meal... I can't wait till they're back 100%.

Michelle D.

Yelp
Food was great. Staff was amazing, very attentive. Caesar Salad, Buffalo Chicken Wings, Trump Burger

Michael C.

Yelp
Solid hotel bar, service was solid. All I wanted was a slice of key lime pie, the grilled veggies, and a couple of cocktails to go. They were fast and polite. I also really liked the shape of the bar, circular. Really great for hanging with more than one other person. I've been to the Champions in Aruba and this one was also on point. It's a crowd pleaser where there is something for everyone.

Denisse M.

Yelp
Beautiful, upscale, and very tasty. Lovely restaurant inside the Trump National Resort. From the moment we sat down the service was impeccable. Very nice and friendly service, great selection of wine and a very delicious menu with lots of varieties. The restaurant has an amazing view as well. We all loved it, can't wait to go back.

Laura P.

Yelp
We came for the Florida Large Stone Crab Claws. They were very good but since there was only 3 we decided to stay for a full dinner. We noticed the description to be quiet. On a Friday night with the PGA in town this place is anything but quiet. Our cocktail request was mastered beautifully. The staff here is happy and very attentive. We had the 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken (highly recommended) and the Grouper in pomadoro sauce (it was ok). The ending was a key lime pie that, in key lime country, was outstanding. We would come back. We sat inside overlooking the golf course at sunset and it was a gorgeous Florida evening.

Andrew B.

Yelp
Roman is one of the best servers in Miami. I came to see them and the food was amazing. I suggest the scallops and lamb!

Cheryl L.

Yelp
Located at Trump Hotel in Doral, I was a bit skeptical at first considering it was a hotel restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. Everyone was happy with their meals. We were a party of nine with two rambunctious toddlers. They made sure to bring them crayons and a kids menu to keep them occupied and brought a wonderful selection of fresh bread. I ordered the mahi with broccoli for my daughter and the mahi was very fresh. I had the fish tacos from the app menu which came with 3 small fish tacos. They were amazing! Fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The sauce on there was to die for. My aunt had the Calle ocho burger which was fantastic! The calamari appetizer was fresh, crispy and wonderful as well. They have a great selection of wines by the glass and bottle. The place is a little pricey but it was worth it. I would return here as I was a big fan of the tacos and the fresh fish.

Margo I.

Yelp
I'm struggling to write this review. The waiter was very kind. We just left on a not busy afternoon and while tables around us got served we waited all most an hour for our food. My husband got the beyond burger and it was a black bean burger instead. I got the Mahi tacos and they were not good at all. The good things: the French fries, the side of fruit and the vegetable appetizer (but at $22 for the appetizer you would expect more than what you receive). All of that for $80 and it was seriously underwhelming. We won't be trying anymore restaurants here.

Sal H.

Yelp
This is located in Trump National Doral hotel and it's very elegant and beautiful. We came here to have breakfast and they have a breakfast buffet that included all the various meats, omelet stations and various assortment of pastries that are fresh and delicious.

Adam S.

Yelp
The food here was excellent! The Trump Burger is spectacular and the steak was so tender and cooked perfectly. If you want excellent service be sure to ask for Carlos, he provided the best service I think I've ever experienced.

Dominic H.

Yelp
We ate here every day after we golfed at the resort Food was good the place was clean The burger was phenomenal

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Champions Grill at Trump Doral is by far one of my favorite spots at the hotel; furthermore in Miami. The best attraction is none other than EWA, who has been a long standing bartender for about 4 years at the Champion Grill. For great service, beauty and that killer smile you must sit at the bar and have EWA serve you. She is the highlight of my visit each time I stay at the hotel. My favorite quick go to dish at Champion Grill is by far the Ivanka Salad, which can be served with your choice of shrimps, salmon or chicken. Any way you take it the taste is never compromised. A close second for me would definitely be the Skirt steak.

Maria K.

Yelp
Excellent meals with superb service! A bit pricey for me, but the cuisine and staff are both well worth it! A warm inviting atmosphere, delightful hostesses, and perfectly cooked, fresh, high quality meats and seafood. The jumbo shrimp are the size of mini lobster tails, and the filet mignon was tender and tasteful, and cooked perfectly as ordered, rare. The accompanying sauces (mango salsa, chimichurri, etc.) are outstanding! John Avellino, a table side host/manager, ensures all your needs are met! Could not ask for anything more! Highly recommend this lovely establishment!

Yelp
We are a group of friends whose used to play every tuesday at the soccer camp and after every game we spend a lot of money drinking beer and eating its food. One they ejected us with a ridiculous reason, because we asked to see a peruvian game in the big tv screen. Also, they stopped rent and accepting us for future games. We try to talk to them to resolve this situation, but they rejected any meeting with us. We think they were very discriminatory with us because our peruvian preferences. We won't go any more under any circumstances.

Jacques R.

Yelp
This place is located at the Trump National Doral... Service by Yenisley Jackey was very good... She did strive to please our needs. My burger was cooked to perfection the first time and not so perfect the second time... The bun could improve a notch! The house salad is ok. The melted tuna sandwich has a little to much mayo... Try to balance this more... The views, well this is the real treat... Overlooking the 1st and 18th hole... Magical. All in all, I will cone back and try my third cheese burger... Hope it's like my first one!! Cheers

Chris K.

Yelp
Service was good once seated, and the food was ok. The sign at the front desk said wait to be seated, so we waited...and waited. We went further in and they were jabbin' away. Between my wife and I, we had fish tacos, grilled salmon, and the creme brûlée. Personally, I had better fish tacos on Ocean Drive than I did here. More veggies than fish. Presentation looked good though. My wife's salmon was good and the creme was good as well. Not much for scenery, just a bunch of tv's and a bar.

sandra S.

Yelp
It is with a heavy heart I write this review. The staff changes have taken their toll on this place along with the owner's inability to appreciate customers not in their intimate circle. I have been requested to move from where I am sitting 2x to accommodate their friends. I shared with the bartender how unprofessional to even ask this is! I was yelled at by bartender when I refused to move next to a HUGE POLE!!! I was told the Owner told her to move me. I have enjoyed this place for 3 yrs. Now it's not about the customer. I have it 2 months before I went back in. Last week after dinner with friends I thought I would have a nite cap. I sat at a table. Same bartender slaps down menu and gives me a look at the booth. I asked for a different person to wait on me. Her attitude was CRAP as she stormed off. I heard the other person make a rude comment. I left!!! Not going here again! My money can spend just as easy somewhere else! Some of the old employees have commented the owner is very difficult and I see they are hiring people with a lack of customer service skills to match the owners!

Amanda V.

Yelp
Stopped in here to grab lunch. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The ahi tuna salad was delicious. Later on during my stay, I pooped in for a drink at the bar. The bartender didn't really listen to me when I asked a question (said something wasn't sweet when in fact it was disgustingly sweet). Nice place to pay a premium for lunch or drink or anything, but that's to be expected at resort restaurants.

Tatelyn N.

Yelp
I only give two stars because my previous experience was great, and that's exactly why we went back for the Easter brunch. What a disaster of a second trip. I purposefully made a 2 o'clock reservation so it wouldn't be crazy busy, and we could guarantee great service. We were seated in a half semicircle table right under a filthy vent. Absolutely disgusting with no other way of being seated somewhere else. It took our waitress 20 minutes to come to the table to get our drink orders. After eating at the buffet, dirty dishes were everywhere with no waitress in sight. Our bottomless mimosas were constantly empty. The food selection for Easter was less than the Mother's Day event selection; seafood was still frozen on the bar. The kid food selection was actually the best food there. Sad. The waitress was so rude that my husband asked if everything was okay. When she came back with a round of mimosas, she spilled the glasses all over the table and a $900 cell phone. She said she was dropping so many glasses today and that "she was just overworked." I waited 25 minutes for our check before I finally had to go and get a manager. As soon as I had the manager at our table, she shows up. Manager never apologized, and the waitress was pissed. When looking at the almost $300 bill for three people, I realized why she was so uninterested: they automatically added an 18% gratuity. This waitress certainly didn't deserve 18%, and this restaurant has definitely went down since 2016.

Ana S.

Yelp
Champions had been on my bookmark list so we decided to tried it yesterday. What a meal! From the bread and butter, cheese board, chicken wings, sea bass, osso bucco to the brownie and cream brûlée dessert, all delicious. Great service by Daniel. This restaurant is as good as BLT. You can enjoy a nice stroll around the outside area after your dinner.

Daniel B.

Yelp
The coolest thing about the Champions Bar and Grill are the past champions and players at Doral which the restaurant honors. Recent examples include a framed photograph from the 2009 WGC-CA Championship where Henrik Stenson stripped down to his underwear to hit a shot from the water on the third hole of the Blue Monster. Stenson autographed the photo on his underwear! Another example, from the 2010 tournament, shows Robert Allenby celebrating his hole-in-one on the 13th hole. The restaurant's menu cover is a photo collage of all past champions at Doral. It's pretty cool. Scattered thoughout the menu are photos, quotes, and trivia about past champions. Champions Bar and Grill is essentially a golf clubhouse's grill where you can get hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, etc. and catch up on sports on one of their flat panels. Since this is Doral though, they've stepped it up and made it fancier. You can also get basic seafood and steaks here. I stopped by for lunch today after playing a morning round at the Gold Course. Along with refreshingly air conditioned indoor seating, they have plenty of covered outdoor seating on the lower clubhouse patio, overlooking a small courtyard, a practice putting green, and the Blue Monster itself. I ordered the ahi tuna stack and the beef pastrami. The ahi tuna stack is the last starter listed on the menu. It consists of ahi tuna layered on top of mangoes and avocado. Everything is fresh and sliced and is sitting in a bowl of ponzu sauce. Not a bad starter. The sandwiches here are HUGE. They come with half a plate of fries and a whole pickle. It's a lot of food. The grill was busy today and I don't think I saw a single customer finish their entire sandwich plate. Most were either eating only half a sandwich or leaving all their fries behind. After downing the ahi tuna stack, I could only manage to eat half the beef pastrami and a few fries. The beef pastrami is a hot sandwich and I had it prepared with provolone. The roast beef was hearty and the bread was incredibly thick. Where do they find this stuff? Our server was Jose and he did a good job. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time especially considering how busy the restaurant was today. The manager came to check on us which was nice.

Eleni S.

Yelp
Great service and food. Beautiful view of golf course. I don't understand why people give it bad reviews.

Joshua V.

Yelp
Weak and weary from our early morning travels from the frozen north, our band of miscreants looked to secure some nourishment prior to venturing into the sun soaked streets of downtown Miami. Champions was the option that presented itself as the path of least resistance, as it was located in the hotel that would serve as our group's base of operations over the next few days. I will say that it is a very lovely dining space; it was described as the more "casual" dining establishment when compared to the other eatery in the same hotel... nevertheless the group still felt monumentally under-dressed when looking at the other patrons in the establishment who were of a more pale variety (no joke, my friend had gotten in earlier to get us seats, and when the server asked if we were joining anyone, my one friend said that the "tall Asian" already got seats... and the server knew exactly where to take us... dunno if I should be laughing or dying on the inside). I would also be remiss to mention that the wait staff here was extremely accommodating and friendly. As one is wont to not blow one's entire proverbial wad upon just arriving at a new destination during one's vacation, your's truly opted for one of the more reasonably priced dining options (i.e. the choice to "build-a-burger" to your liking). In the end, a tasty burger with pricing comparable to the Minetta Tavern Black Label Burger here in NYC, but nowhere close to the quality... although the burger here still proved to be a tasty amalgam of meat and grease and carbs (of course it would be... I built it). A decent spot to dine in if you're feeling lazy... and minus a star based off of politics (place is located in the Trump National).

Gloria S.

Yelp
Expect more from a supposedly 4 star hotel. Pretty setting, sit in or outside viewing beautiful grounds and fountains. Customer service fair, but could hustle a little though not busy. Food is nothing special and portions are small. Pricey for regular items from a golf course. Eating out next time, not worth the convenience.

Megan R.

Yelp
Came here for a quiet and nice dinner on our trip to Miami. We're staying in the hotel as well. Everything was amazing. The service, drinks, and food! For an app, we ordered the popcorn shrimp. SO GOOD. Perfect portion for the two of us. My boyfriend ordered off their summer menu, Caesar salad and Birdie sandwich. Looked amazing and he said the same! I ordered the Ivanka Salad with salmon. Amazing! Salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the salad was sooo refreshing and fresh. I ordered a Tropical Mule which was also amazing. Our server, Peter, was sooo kind. It is our first time in Miami and he took the time to make a list of the best places to go around here. Was so on top of our needs without hovering. Nothing but great things to say about him and the restaurant!

Josh J.

Yelp
Service was great. Steak was sub par. Cooked right but no seasoning at all. It's no mystery how to make a good steak. stick with the sandwiches.

Rita B.

Yelp
Great service and wonderful food! Denise , Peter and Roman are the best. If you want a fun and relaxing place to meet friends After a round of golf this restaurant will be a perfect Choice for your family and friends.

Dexter V.

Yelp
After my flight had been delayed at a stopover, I was in no mood to venture out to explore the local scene in Doral and since I was staying at the Trump National I figured I might as well try one of the restaurants located in the resort. So I opted for Champions Bar & Grill located in the main club house. The first impression I got from this place was it felt as I was in some sort of boardroom. Wood accents throughout and wide, red leather chairs to lounge in. The atmosphere was grand and spacious and certainly did not fit the traditional definition of a sports bar. I would venture to call it fine dining in the most casual manner. I don't know if that makes any sense but in this instance I guess it will have to do. Having been greeted by a wonderful wait staff, I was ready to order up. I went with a nice cold Newcastle brew and an order of the Mediterranean plate. The beer was hoppy with a strong finish which paired well with the appetizer and entrée I had for the evening. The appetizer was good for two people to share. It consisted of 6 slices of freshly grilled pita bread, two long wedges of feta cheese, a good helping of humus topped with microgreens, several pieces of olives, and two stuffed grape leaves. This was a fantastic exercise of bold Mediterranean flavor that I have to say ranks up there with some of my favorite restaurants here in the Northeast. For the entrée I went with my waiter's suggestion of the "Calle Ocho" Burger. This burger, named after the eponymous street of Little Havana, is a monster of a burger that stuffs a blended sirloin patty, ham, roasted pork, Swiss cheese, and mustard on a brioche bun. It is served on a nice carving board with a side of fries, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. Looking at the burger already made me stuffed and that's before I even had a bite. At the end of it all I could only finish half of the dish and took the rest back to the room for a "healthy" breakfast the next day. Everything in that burger tasted delicious and truly fit for--dare I say--a champion. I did not set any expectations before trying this restaurant. I just wanted a delicious bite after a long day of travel. After a wonderful and relaxing dining experience I call this eatery a true winner in my record book any day of the week.

Terry W.

Yelp
Can't say enough about the experience! Service was exceptional and staff are very friendly! Food came out hot and fresh. My wife had Ivanka salad with chicken and I had a beyond burger nothing were great! Highly recommended for all occasions!

Suzanne V.

Yelp
Excellent food and service after a round of golf. We enjoyed their salads and steak, the giant pretzel appetizer, and their desserts.

Kristina S.

Yelp
Hung out here for the cocktail hour before a wedding reception. Beautiful scenery and lovely people everywhere serving the guests. The bartender was great and the drinks were not too weak. I enjoy coming to the Trump and will definitely be back.

D D.

Yelp
Ribeye steak was good (thin) but good! Waiter was overwhelmed with a large group but did the best he could being a one man band. Mojito was one of the best I've had. Great place to watch football but bring your pocket book, little pricey on drinks.

Rozana S.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic food. Everything from steak to seafood. Yes, as the entire resort very pricey but very well worth it. Very good wine selection and cocktails. Service was impeccable.

Art J.

Yelp
Waited 45 minutes after I ordered to finally get my COLD eggs benedict... Restaurant was not busy at all. How hard is it to make eggs benedict... Chef get your act together! Server said he has been arguing with you to get me my food?! That you have been having problems in the kitchen and trying to solve it... Trump, I think you need a new Chef over here! I had to send the food back because it was cold. How can you send cold food to a customer. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Please think twice before sitting down to eat here, not worth it at all. Horrible. I am very disappointed.

A F.

Yelp
Beware what you order... French onion soup was fantastic. The pappardelle pasta on the other hand was abysmal. It was inedible. It was supposed to have a creamy sauce and as you can see by the photo, it was watery tomato chunks with no cream and no flavor. Thoroughly disappointed, especially because grounds are stunning and the meal was a pretty penny ($$$).

Laura S.

Yelp
Excellent New Year's Eve Dinner--menu options were great and our server, MATIAS, exceeded expectations. He carefully went through each menu option and answered our questions. When he did not know about a wine selection, he took the time to find out more information. It was our first time at Champions and we understood it would be a very busy evening. Matias apologized for any delays and checked in to see if we were okay. We definitely will return!

Al L.

Yelp
This is a great Restaurant whether you are playing golf or not. The views are great, and the atmosphere & service are spot on. The food is delicious and consistent. The fish tacos, wings and sliders are my favorite and the steaks are great too.
