Very cool and detailed tour! They offer free moorings if you go on tour, which is free too. A great variety of pearls if you choose to buy some, at the same time, absolutely no push to purchase anything.

So fascinating to learn how Tahitian black pearls are made. The family that runs the farm is friendly and we loved getting to see the entire process of Pearl farming! The jewelry and pearls were stunning. They did a great job explaining what makes a pearl so valuable. It’s a small farm and they don’t export any of their pearls, so it was a fun place to get a souvenir that will last even if it’s slightly more expensive than what you could find elsewhere.

The tour guides were very good at explaining the process of creating, rating, and categorizing the pearls. There were also some cute dogs you could play with and a fun tree house. It would have been nice to see more action instead of looking at the dead oysters (without the 250$ paywall).

The tour was really interesting and I would recommend if you are in the area to do the tour. It is also free which is nice and we didn't feel any pressure to buy anything. As others have mentioned the prices here are a little steep but there is some really good quality. We ended up buying one nice pearl here, and then buying some more jewelry in Papeete for a little cheaper.

Based on the 2 pearls I received, I would say "Don't waste your time or money on these." They are not close to jewelry grade quality. The finish appears to be painted on with 11 "pock marks" with no finish, a bump that you can both see and feel and a crease on one pearl and 4 pock marks on the other. I bought a pearl for $10 in Tahiti that was inifitely better than either of these.

The tour and the people were very nice and knowledgable. It was around 30 mins, where at the end we visited the boutique and looked at their designs. No pressure to buy anything, which we liked. The pearls here are top quality, for they are small, don’t expert and only sell to designers. So the pricess are a little bit steep. We ended up buying a really nice pearl.

This was our second visit after many years. Loved learning how pearls are made followed by some jewelry shopping.
