Champs had the best customer service experience I have had in a long time where the employees understood where the customer was coming from and helped above and beyond their duties as an employee. ERIC helped me and he was a manager, you can tell he is a great leader because he's out there with his crew letting them know and setting an example of how empathetic listening and good customer service is done. ALEXIS had great knowledge of shoes and JOSE V did a great job helping me after Eric left . Wow!!! What a great bunch of people working at Champs seriously mind blowing. 🤯 Thank you guys I had a great experience.

Great selection of sneakers, shoes and sportswear. Staff takes care of you in a really nice and "not pushy" way. Store is clean and in order. Men's sizes up to xxl.

Went in looking for some Jordan’s but didn’t find the colors I wanted. Instead I think I found something better lol This Raiders windbreaker jacket! Glad I stopped by, the staff is friendly and helpful. Spotted a few throwback NBA jerseys too 👍🏽

ROBERTO, was super courteous and informative regarding my choice of sneakers. Good customer service is rare nowadays so I definitely want to highlight it. Keep up the great work🙏🏼 Roberto. Johnny was incredible. He was super knowledgeable about identifying what shoe would be best suited for me. He not only found me 1 pair of new favorite shoes, but 2. I didn’t feel like he was trying to sell me or rush me, and he was naturally friendly and helpful. Thanks so much Johnny!

Always a nice selection of shoes. I hardly ever leave without buying anything. I never have a problem with sizes. They stay pretty stocked up. Clean environment and workers have great attitudes.

Every time I come inside the store it’s an amazing atmosphere.. all the employees, but specifically “Shane” is an awesome representative, takes time to figure out the customer needs and figure out an option to fit it :) thank you so much champs !! Coming back all the times!! The ladies are awesome too :)

What a great place to get anything for basketball. That's why we visited. The staff were so helpful and being from the UK we were very selective with what we wanted to take home with us. They have a great range of stock as well so it will always be my first choice when I go to LA.

Went in to purchase a pair of Nike Huarache's in the afternoon. The attendants were nice enough and attentive on the floor. When it came time to check out, however, the clerk asked for my email for a receipt. I said printed was fine. He insisted on my email, to which I again said printed is fine. He said "ok then it's going to be final sale." I repeated it back to him to make sure I understood, "it's final sale if I don't give you me email address?" He said "yes". So I walked out without my purchase. Totally unreal, and also illegal.

I'm not a sneakers person but I bought some shoes online and ordered a size too small for me. Because of COVID no indoor malls are open but only outdoor malls so I thought I wouldn't be able to exchange my shoes for a half size bigger. I came into this store letting them know I got these shoes a couple of months ago but need a bigger size. I didn't get the cashier's name but she was so helpful and she gave me many options. I honestly thought they were going to turn me away and tell me that they wouldn't be able to do anything but she was willing to help me out. She was willing to order the shoes for me in the size that I needed and able to get it for the price I got it online for. The cashier and I were having a conversation about the shoes and she overheard me telling my boyfriend if I should get a whole size bigger and she was willing to tell one of her co workers to get some shoes to try on a half size bigger and a whole size bigger so she can order the correct size for me. She was able to talk to her manager and her manager walked her through what she needed to do but unfortunately since Champs no longer had the shoe she couldn't order it for me. She did tell me that I could go to Foot Locker since they still have the shoes and I could order it from them. I was bummed that it didn't work out at Champs but the customer service here was awesome. That's why I give this place 5 stars!

I took my daughter to Champs yesterday, and we quickly realized that this is absolutely the best place to shop for shoes on the entire 3rd. St. Promenade. They have a massive selection of shoes and clothes, so inevitably you'll find something you like. But what really distinguishes this Champs store from other shops on the Promenade is their outstanding customer service. The employees at many stores on the same street are either overly aggressive in their effort to sell, or they're too cold and detached. It's strange when you walk into a store with a lot of Supreme products and the guy at the door has a completely arrogant look on his face and clearly thinks that he's too cool to greet customers. Chill, bro. You just work there. Neither you nor I can afford the $900 Nikes, so relax. On the other hand, the staff at Champs is immensely welcoming, friendly, and professional. They engage with you, find out what you need, and work hard to get you exactly the product that you're looking for. I wish I'd asked the name of the two employees who helped us, but I didn't. The guy who helped us the most was a tall black guy in his early 20s. He was helpful, down to earth, and funny...just generally a cool dude. And the young lady at the register who helped us was super sweet, friendly, and had a great smile. This was a great experience. Any time in the future that my daughter or I need new shoes or workout gear, this will be our go to spot without a doubt!

Very bad service the sales reps are talking to each other instead of helping customers they are happy when they are talking to each other I didn't feel welcome never coming back to this store

Placed order for store-pickup at this location on some in-demand Boosts, checked in 4 hrs later to be told it was allocated, paid and ready for pickup for up. Get call a few hours after that from CS saying they're sold out now and order is being cancelled. Moral of story is Amazon robots don't cancel your orders to sell your purchases to their friends. Love ya Amazon

This is the best place to grab a pair of Shoes. Ask for Jessy, Conor, marlea. Customer Service is the best and the selection is the best. Not just shoes and socks but also shirts pants and shorts.

She is bad service bad. I never see like this before . I come to buy us5 superstar . I ask her to try this size. When I said ok I want it I will buy. She said. She will get the new one for me. After I' wait .She said to me someone call for this size already. I'm surprised that. Why she said like that. She lies to me. She keep this one for other resell .

I'd like to acknowledge Ashley for her above and beyond customer service the other day as I was searching for a hard to come by shoe and Ashley was so helpful in her efforts to not only search for this shoe but also provide alternatives when she couldn't find it, and she was so happy to be of service. Ashley put me as the customer first and made it a great experience and for that I'm grateful to have been helped by her. 5+ Star Service

The employees of this store need to learn how to use the phone. I don't understand how the phone has been on the busy signal for 6 hours now. Putting people on hold and forgetting about them is just not good business and unacceptable.

Horrible service. Id give this a 0 star if i could. The employee named Ashley truly made shopping a task, thinking she knows everything and argued with my uncle from a foreign country. She insists that his card is american express when it isn't, thinking shes knows everything. Definitely needs to get fired asap and for any future tourists trying to buy shoes, itll be a much simpler task to go to the nearby Nikes and other stores for them.

They are doing a f***ing wrong business here! They sold out on the day before release to family and friends. They never answer their phone, employees here are so f*** unprofessional, it saids every where on their website that they open at 8am, but actually they open at 10. Never come back again.

ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. Waited in line for a release well before posted opening time with many others only to be told that they pre-released the shoes to "family & friends" two days prior EVEN THOUGH the shoe manufacturer specifically designated their drop date. Wasted 2 hours in line and my entire morning. Never returning. Don't think that these kids working a shitty 9-5 aren't playing you blind on releases and stacking extra guap on the side by buying out their own store's inventory and reselling them for profit. Kudos to you guys - there's a reason you all work at a shoe store...

Terrible customer service. I went to footlocker and they told me that champs across the street has the airmax 270 in my size. I walk over and ask the guy for the airmax in my size and he tells me we don't have it. And I said can you check in the back and he says everything we have is displayed out here. I told him footlocker told me you have it and he says " I don't know why they would tell you that, go back to footlocker". I was pissed off, trying to make me look stupid I went to footaction across the way and asked for the airmax's she said they don't have it but Champs does and I told her the guy there said they don't. So she walks me over there and speaks the guy who is her friend and completely ignores the fact that I was just there asking for the shoe. Another rep comes from the back and brings it out. I buy the shoes and on my way out he pretends to be busy. What kind of shit is that. Lazy ass sales rep.

Horrible customer service, I had a $10 off coupon for completing the survey they claimed the code was already used, I explain to them I just left Foot Locker they scanned the code but the employee said I had to spend $50 or more to use the $10 off and the shirt was only $35, I said my bad I forgot I normally use these codes to get my sons clothes, so the store assistant manager said I will need to call customer service, called them and got no where, So I went back to Foot Locker spoke to the manger there and he says the code is still good it should show them on their end that the coupon was never used and he said he just received a call from Jessica from champs and told her that the coupon was good, Foot locker said the manger can override the coupon not sure why she does not want to you always shops with us, so I called Champs back spoke manger by the name is Jessica she said sorry we can not help you there is non thing we can do, I proceeded to tell her what the manger said at Foot Locker that she can override it, and she said non thing it was dead silent.. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

Reason why this location has such bad ratings is because they deserve it. They don't even deserve that 1 star, WORST CHAMPS LOCATION I HAVE BEEN TO. Jenn by far the worst sales rep there whoever hired her needs to reconsider. Told me she will hold shoes for me and I get to the store and the shoe is already sold. Whoever is responsible for this store needs to consider hiring employees and management who actually do there job. Or possibly the district manager needs to be on top of their shit by seeing how unprofessional the employees at this location are.

Marlena, Edgar Eileen, Silvia and my man The Real Manager Roy, I mean great customer experience they recovered a distasteful experience I had earlier in the day with two employees it's pretty unfortunate one was a manager Jenn, I mean poor service at its best and these are understatements to what I experienced, Dom the other employee who could have gotten the commission must not be into incentives, to get back into my experience, I came in during my lunch break patient although I was pressed for time a beautiful summer day Friday to be exact, I came in to buy some pre dominantly white shoes and the shoes I tried on were on the dirty side I requested for them to hold them and promised I'll come after when I clock out, she gave me a hard time I get it's a hot shoe so I understand, but I ran to get my money and requested that I get a fresh shoe who knows I probably would have changed my mind anything but if they get dirty at least the store can keep me honest to say we gave you a brand new shoe she did not give me a shoe or try to put forth a helping effort gage me attitude sighed only to come back before closing to find out they had fresh pairs in the back I hope I didn't offend Eileen who I had to reverse my transaction with but she understood and was very courteous about what had taken place thanks again for all staff mentioned about for changing my experience I might further my purchasing relationship with this store, only if Jenn isn't present :-p Thanks again Roy it was well appreciated, nice dealing business with you

If I could give this place zero stars I would, this place is horrible! They have the worst customer service. I had called numerous times to verify if they had an item they told me he's I also checked online and it said they had it once I got there the item was not there and he workers told they haven't had that item. When someone who worked there told me the item was there and I had plenty of time. So of course driving 30 miles I got annoyed to find out they didn't have it. But yet they were trying to act like it was no big deal and did nothing what so ever to make the situation better and showing me an attitude.They had no consideration of the distance I had to come and did not even apologize once, they had no care at all. So I had to leave and go the one in Cerritos and they would only hold it for me for a couple hours. I nearly had to kill myself to get there before they were no longer going to save it for me. The staff is soooo rude and and had no customer service skills. I will not return here ever again.

Bought some Asics here (which I love) but had manufacturer issue with the shoes I purchased. Justin and Kathy helped me out and made it right, I would definitely recommend these guys to a friend.
