The property is stunning and well maintained. The staff is attentive and many at the front desk are bilingual. The onsite restaurant is not very accommodating for vegetarian clients but is probably fine for meat eaters. Starbucks onsite is a big plus. Howler monkeys are awesome. Bed was comfortable. Good value and easy base for seeing the amazing ruins of Palenque. Wife adds that the hair dryer was caput.

The resort has the potential to be very nice. The rooms are large, the bathroom good with a powerful hot shower. However everything looked very dated and worn. The pool was nice and we both had a lovely massage in the spa. The major thing wrong with this place is the restaurant. Breakfast may be waiter served or a buffet depending on number of people staying. However it was difficult getting anything bought to the table eg coffee, hot water, some cutlery. We only stayed two nights and had an evening meal just once. That was enough. The food was okay but the service was terrible, it was chaotic to the point of being a farce. Wrong food bought to the table, forgotten drinks, cutlery missing. The bill which took about 30 minutes to get included both the correct food order and the wrong one. Had we stayed another night I would have gone somewhere else to eat.

Amazing place. Beautiful setting in the middle of the Maya jungle. The hotel was completely empty - two other guests. The staff would not let us checking earlier to change while there was no one at the hotel and our rooms were ready. Restaurant and food were good and the pool is amazing.

It's convenient for Palenque, but not for anything else; if you have no independent transport you can't go elsewhere to eat. The porter who was supposed to be leading us to our bungalows didn't know where some of the rooms were, leaving us hauling our own cases in a thunderstorm in the dark. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was average compared with other hotels we had used in Mexico. Dinner was poor: we ate there twice and both times the meat was overcooked; we also heard from other members of the party that the bar had no white wine and the restaurant had no chicken, both of which were listed on the menus and are sufficiently basic that they ought to have been available. Additionally, literally the first dealing that we had with the hotel was a list of things we were not permitted to do, with associated 'fines', which is extremely unwelcoming, and we were warned to get a receipt for everything in case of any 'confusion' about what we had paid for.

It is a beautiful place to visit. The only thing I didn’t like is that the living room and kitchen area are shared if you don’t have to rooms side by side. The room, washroom are all separate from the other attached room. We had the swimming pool right beside our two rooms.

Terrible service, without any customer focus. We had a double room with twin beds and they didn’t change it after check-in despite an empty hotel. Be aware of the noise of the animals at night. We were not prevented but you will need some serious earplugs. The place is nice but not good valu for money..

The grounds and pool are beautiful. The food at the restaurant is not good. Its too far to walk to another restaurant. We were here for NYE and my wife's vegiterian dinner came out 2 hours after everyone else's and was terrible. The service during this meal was also poor, even though we had paid so much!

The hosts and helpers were very nice and helpful. The restaurant staff were a little slow and they definitely overcharge for food... you can have better food delivered for a much cheaper price.

Yelp
This resort is like in being in an enchanted forest. Very clean villas and lots of options for vegans. Staff is friendly but doesn't speak English, loved the stay. The pools are just breath taking. Recommend this and we will be back.

Yelp
When we started looking for places to stay in Palenque, this place looked too good to be true for the price. Four of us booked it for a few days, it was going to be our jumping off place for visiting Agua Azul, Yaxchilan, and of course, the ruins and town of Palenque as well. When we arrived, we had to first make it past the gate - our names were on the list and we were allowed in. The reception area is outdoors, and having some Spanish handy is very important. As with many areas that don't host many US tourists, the English speakers at the resort are rare. Just be prepared to have some laughs at yourself is your Spanish is only... asi asi. The man who checked us in helped us grab our bags from our rental car, and led us down a stone pathway arched by blooming and fragrant tropical flowers. We were shown the restaurant, overlooking the pool, and where the Starbucks is on-site. The stone paths around the property are all sooooo pretty, and tropical birds and monkeys play in the trees overhead, and agoutis run around too. The pool has fountains, salt water, and at night changes color. The pool also has three sections, one is super deep, another is very kid friendly and shallow. From the pool we were led past a Ceiba Tree, which was pointed out to us and explained to us, and we made our way back towards the cabins and rooms. There were smaller pools and fountains outside many of them! We were given a very large suite - really its own cabin with a front porch and comfy chairs and hammocks outside to relax. We didn't spend much time in our room as we were really using it as a place to store our bags, but after a day of exploring it was really nice to crash in the large bed, while my husband and one of our friends sat on the porch drinking and laughing. It was SO nice to not have them IN the room with us! The monkey alarm clocks are AWESOME - and I mean that in a literal sense - genuine wild monkeys awoke us the next morning! We loved having breakfast overlooking the property, monkeys were literally swinging over the pool and providing entertainment for the guests! It was nice to charge the meals to our room, and they were reasonably priced and we were all happy. My favorite thing was sitting in the pool one afternoon having delicious margaritas brought right to us! I don't think you can beat this place for the location, service, amenities, or price. I look forward to returning sometime! Definitely a little gem.

Yelp
Eco hotel... Located about 15 to 20 minutes from the ruins. You can easily reach the ruins by using one of the local city taxi bus. If you want to visit the city center, the taxi bus will also take you there for $20 pesos. My room was clean and roomy. Loved the jungle area and waking up to the sounds of monkeys in the AM! Yup monkeys! I uploaded a video, so you can hear them! If you speak only English, there are not a lot of staff members that speak English so it will be a great time to brush up on your Spanish. Breakfast is about $139 Pesos and is decent... Fruits, yogurts, cereal, eggs, etc... If you sign the receipt don't pay because they will charge it to your room and you will pay when you checkout! Otherwise, if you pay cash ask for a receipt! I almost got double billed! Overall a good place to stay! I would come back again!
