Very friendly helpful staff. The situation is excellent and considering it is fairly central relatively quiet. The rooms are clean and adequately equipped for the price. Opposite the hostel there is a hotel/café that serves the most amazing breakfast and coffee. Just up the road, there is an excellent Thai restaurant very comfortable very helpful. Not often I give fives on a review but Chana place deserves it. One small thing that is worth considering there is no lift so travellers perhaps less able may wish to confirm ground floor booking.

One of the cleanest hotels I had stayed, no slippers but nothing sticks on your soles. No kettles, face tissue Great location, all great eateries in walking distance

We stayed here for 6 nights and requested to move after one night due to the wifi not reaching our room. Avoid the rooms at the ends of the hallways if possible. Cleaning staff begins work each morning between 6:30-7am, and are consistently singing in the hallways, slamming doors, and talking loudly. The insulation is typical of Thailand and non-existent, so expect to be woken up each morning either by noise, or the fact that the bathroom doors are transparent and let in the light from the bathroom windows. The photo attached shows the room at 7am. Since they work so early, there's no one to be found between 10-11am when you try to ask for a clean towel and soap, instead of having your entire room cleaned. Cleaning staff AND front desk staff were attempting to open a stuck grate or something with a hammer at 7:45am directly next to our room. See attached photo. AC is also located directly above our heads as we sleep, so it's either get blasted with cold (dusty) air as we sleep or keep it off for the evening. It does work well, but the fan settings are high, higher, and turbo. The location of the hotel is the only positive thing about this place. There are some delicious restaurants close by.

Staff has clearly never stayed in these rooms. I did for a week and hated every morning here. And you can see people straight through the bathroom doors. Let's discuss. The wifi DOES NOT reach rooms in the X01 series, so if your room is 201, 301, or 401 then plan to not have internet. I brought staff up to my room to prove it to them. The next morning they switched me to a different room. Internet works fine everywhere else besides those rooms at the end of the hall. I tested all of this on two phones and a laptop. The early mornings here are TERRIBLE because of cleaning staff and the lack of curtains. Staff starts cleaning before 8 am and are LOUD about it. The halls have tiled floors so you hear echos of everything they do which doubles their inconsiderate noise - like singing, whistling, laughing - as if they were in your room. I'm literally listening to them sing in the hallway right now. They even decided to hammer out a window at 7 am. It's comical that they think that's okay for guest. The mornings here are also terrible because of the bathrooms. There are no curtains or anything else to block the sun from blasting through the bathroom windows. That might seem like no big deal, but they installed translucent doors for all the bathrooms (both my rooms had these doors) which turn into mega light bulbs as soon as the sun comes up. See my photo of the closed bathroom door at 8 am. It's so bright in the room you never need to turn on a light. Since they are translucent doors, yes, you will be able to see someone using the toilet from your bed. Enjoy. Some air conditioners also point directly at the bed. If you get a room like that then plan to be constantly blasted by air or not use the air conditioner at all because you're too cold. The terrible mornings aside, it's a very clean hotel with plenty of in-room amenities like a fridge, freezer, desk, wardrobe, side tables for the bed, and plenty of outlets even near the bed. This could be such a great spot. However, if staff actually stayed in these rooms they'd realize how terrible it is to be blasted by the sun, air conditioning, and their cleaning staff's lack of vocal talent every morning. There's no consideration for guest comfort. They certainly don't understand hospitality.

We walked off street and booked, it was cheaper than booking.com.|At first we were given a room at bottom of stairs, with no window, and pretty depressing.|I asked to be moved, and was given room 208 at the end of the corridor on 2nd floor. |Room was miles better, it had 2 windows, one of which was onto corridor, so we kept curtains closed on that.|Rooms are all twin, and beds were super comfy, shower was good and much to our surprise, it was quiet at night, actually had the best sleep.|Staff are friendly and helpful, they sell a few basics, like toothpaste etc, and you can borrow a kettle and hairdryer from reception, although not cups.|We did make the mistake of stripping beds as we left, to help housekeeping, and soon regretted it after seeing state of pillows, quilt and mattress protectors, maybe check this first if your squeamish 🤢

The hotel run by a family, for the price / quality it is good. They are very smiley and helpful. 7/11 is 1 mins by walk and good cafe / retaurant around. We are glad that we stayed there.

Great location. Very easy to find and not far from the main road. Staff were very friendly. We booked a higher floor and there was no elevator and the staff helped carry our bags up upon check in. Rooms were very clean and spacious, but the bathroom had a sewage smell that lingered a bit after using it.Very nice night market about 10 minutes walk towards the south gate of the old town.

Was good and what I expected. Room was clean air on worked good. The major disappointment was all of their bikes were broken. That was one of the main reasons we picked it was they have bikes in all their pictures and info. They need to update it and say they don’t. They were kind of rude about it also. Showed us all the broken bikes and said too bad. Like what
