Over priced! 1400B a night on 1st & 2nd Jan 2026. We were conned by their grading 8+. Can you imagine room at 4th floor without lift in the building, and you have to carry your luggage walk up to your room... Room is also very run-down with old wooden furniture and also dark. Ceiling fan and service area light are not working. Bathroom is rather small, if you are have a 6 feet body, you can hardly move inside. A huge large fridge I have never seen before in the hotel. And also a pair of large side table lamps next to the bed. The wooden bed is noisy, if you get up in the middle of the night or turn your body, you sure will wake up your partner. No toiletries refill, no hair dryer, no tissue paper... have to call and request. Room service without sweeping the floor, I could see my wife's hair laying around. No replacement of the towel and floor mat... The common area in the lobby, supposed to be nice and big for resting, but always occupied by smokers... I will never recommend anyone to stay here.

The chana place hotel is a really affordable hotel. The room is spacious and clean, the location of the hotel is great, it has everything you need (7/11, pharmacy, great restaurants nearby, laundry services etc). We've extended our stay here multiple times as it's a really convent hotel and would definitely stay here again. The staff are really nice and friendly and we were constantly looked after.

I think overall it is a good hotel. However, there is no breakfast and they told me you cannot lock your room on the 4th floor when you’re out. You can only lock it from the inside. This made me quite uncomfortable when going out for the day, given that anybody could get to my luggage.

Excellent all around. Place is clean. Room is big with refrigerator. The workers go above and beyond. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Convenient location! There is a Thai traditional costumes rental right next to the stay, could just rent a costumes and walk to the temples nearby for photography.

Very friendly helpful staff. The situation is excellent and considering it is fairly central relatively quiet. The rooms are clean and adequately equipped for the price. Opposite the hostel there is a hotel/café that serves the most amazing breakfast and coffee. Just up the road, there is an excellent Thai restaurant very comfortable very helpful. Not often I give fives on a review but Chana place deserves it. One small thing that is worth considering there is no lift so travellers perhaps less able may wish to confirm ground floor booking.

One of the cleanest hotels I had stayed, no slippers but nothing sticks on your soles. No kettles, face tissue Great location, all great eateries in walking distance

I had a very good experience in this hotel,the staff are very friendly,the rooms are beautiful and well maintained! I recommend this place fr sure 😃.
