Chanalai Hillside Resort

We really enjoyed our holiday at this hotel! Rooms are big, equiped with everything you need and the staff makes up the room every day and even extra if you need it (I had the food poisoning from the local restaurant - NOT from the hotel food and had to spend whole day in my room and staff cleaned the room to make it fresh and more comfortable for me). Breakfast is delicious and offers you western and thai food. Staff in general is very kind, friendly, polite and very hardworking especially Kevin who always made sure that we are satisfied and have everything we need. Also his english is great and he is so kind! In general, the service was amazing and the staff is really the kindest! ☺️

We stayed 8 nights and it was really really good. The service is always friendly and polite to every guest. The quality and style of the resort gets 5 stars from me. You don't need to walk too long to the beach, so also a good location, even though it's not in the center of the city. Overall it was fantastic. We would highly recommend it and we'll come back next year for another stay. Thanks for all the resort services. Really appreciated it.

The hotel is lovely, well looked after and clean. The staff are really friendly and could not have been more helpful. Kevin (Guest Services) was very chatty and recommended a couple of great trips. Nuch (Guest Services) was so smiley and helpful and helped us book 2 excursions (and a discount) and was quick to get our feedback when we returned from each one. A very enjoyable few days in the hotel.

We had such a lovely experience at this hotel! Everything was spotless — honestly, the cleanliness deserves 5 stars on its own. The cleaning staff were amazing and worked so hard to keep everything fresh and tidy every single day. The whole team was incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming — from the restaurant and bar staff to the security team, everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The restaurant and bar were both excellent, great service and good vibes all around. A special shoutout to Ali Baba, who was such a cheeky, friendly chap! He gave us great advice on where to go and what to visit — made our trip even better. I truly recommend this hotel. Everything was perfect from start to finish — clean, comfortable, and full of genuinely kind people. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Great place to stay. Located in a quiet area with a beach at a short distance there is no much to ask. The hotel is impeccable, the staff at reception, breakfast and dinner, the staff cleaning… everyone is kind, polite and helpful. The ground level swimming pool is big but really well designed, not deep at all. There is a poolside bar servings soft drinks, cocktails, coffee etc. The rooftop swimming pool is smaller and also has a bar. The hotel provides towels for the pool/beach that can be exchanged at the reception after use. The breakfast range caters for all cultures and religions. Obviously not a full English but you can create something close if you want from the buffet. Also is one of the few places where breakfast is served until 11 am. We booked a couple of tours through the reception team and in both cases was excellent. Also there is a shuttle bus to the shopping area three times in the morning. This is our last relaxing stop before heading home and we couldn’t have had a better place to stay. Big thanks to everyone at Chanalai Hillside Resort.

My wife and I had a very good experience at the Chanalai Hillside Resort. We will definitely choose this Resort if we ever decide to holiday in Phuket in the future. Absolutely beautiful place with 5 star treatment from all the staff here. I will recommend this resort to all my family and friends to book at this Resort. I went with my sister and we stayed here for 2 weeks. It was perfect! We primarily chose this place because it looked very clean and the location was good but it exceeded our expectations. The staff are all super friendly. They clean your room every single day (if you want to) and give you water, tea and coffee. It's an hour away from the airport but in general the location is great it's not too busy but you still have stores and a little market nearby. The beach is a 7 minute walk away. Both the swimming pool downstairs and the rooftop swimming pool are very clean. The AC is very good too. We also got a room that looks out at the forest so whenever it rained it was very healing to look out the big window (we didn't ask for any specific room so we got lucky). The atmosphere of the resort is calm, healing and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone who is going it's absolutely worth the money you pay for. I did see some people say that the noise level is quite high and you can hear the neighboring rooms and that the AC is loud which is partly true but the AC didn't bother us much. As for the neighboring room we weren't bothered by it and people in general weren't loud enough for you to hear them but I guess that could also be depending on your luck because our room was the last one in the hallway. Anyways it was such a memorable experience! If I get the chance to visit again I would definitely come back and stay here!

The staff are all so nice. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Large bathroom and usefull. Good location closer to pa tong side and close to karon beach about 7 min by walk. And very silent. All good placement of resturant and lobi ex. Not expensive so overall its good performans hotel and I recommend.
