Chandni Chowk is a very good place if you are looking for Indian wedding collections for both men and women. There are plenty of options, and you can find almost everything in one area. Bargaining power is the key here — prices can vary a lot, so negotiating helps. The market is extremely crowded, but many families visit with children, so it’s manageable. However, parking and long walking distances can make kids tired. The biggest downside for me was the overall cleanliness and behavior of some people — spitting in public places, garbage on the roads, constant honking, dust, and heavy movement of e-rickshaws in narrow streets make the experience stressful at times. Personally, I feel vehicles like e-rickshaws should be restricted inside such dense market areas. Local authorities may also need stricter waste management and a fine system for food vendors who throw used plates and containers onto the road. Maintaining such a crowded historic market is not easy, but public self-discipline combined with proper enforcement would make a huge difference. Overall, a must-visit place for wedding shopping, but be prepared for heavy crowds, noise, and some chaos.

A women-run market in the 1600s! Yes, queen. Literally. Designed by Princess Jahanara, this place proves that girl power isn’t new, it’s just been underappreciated for a few hundred years. Great shopping. A ton of chaos. Wear comfortable shoes and maybe some armor. Ha!

This is one of the must visit places in Delhi, we visited this market twice during our stay in Delhi , we tried famous street foods from this market - Natraj dahi valla , parathe wale gali visited as well , tried matka kulfi and rabdi lassi , kachodi chaat , pav bhaji and all the eating items were really tasty, To go to this market the best way is to get a metro from your nearest metro station and deboard in Chandi chowk metro station, we boarded from Rajiv Chowk station and from the Chandni chowk metro station the market is just 100 meters away , also you can visit gurudwara and lajpat rai market on your way from Chandni chowk market to Red fort. Overall a must visit place in Delhi. 🎉🎉

The food scene is unmatched: paranthas in Paranthe Wali Gali, jalebi, kachori, kebabs, lassi, chaat, and kulfi. Every few steps, there’s something to taste. Rickshaws, bikes, shoppers, honking—pure old Delhi energy. It’s not polished or modern; the lanes are narrow and packed, but that’s the charm.
