Chandon India Winery

Moet Chandon was recommended to us by the manager at Courtyard By Marriott (CBM). We didn't even know about this vineyard. Thanks to a special voucher which is available for patrons of CBM, we decided to visit. We got free wine tasting if we bought a bottle... we ended up buying 3 bottles and a set of their "flute" wine glasses. The food served is by Radisson and is amazing. Must visit when in Nashik. Amazing ambiance and especially good if you visit early evening and hang around until sunset.

I was there on #indianwinetrail to learn wines. Chanson has its own legacy history of sparkling wines. Chandon in India is producing some great sparkling wines that are standing out in the Indian as well as international market. The place where it is situated is amazing, very beautiful scenery and landscape. Though only disappointment was that they did not allowed us to see their manufacturing process actually.

The place is a 5 out of 5 but 2 aspects went against it. First the plus points. ..Great scenery, specially after rains when most of Maharashtra is lush green. The property is decorated with classy aesthetics. They have developed the property for corporate visits .Bhairavi, who is a brand ambassador gave us the wine tasting session and a brief on the Chandon story. She is very well exposed and patiently handled our queries. Overall a lovely half day experience. Now the downsides….. 1. Approach - it is located in the Dindori area of Nashik and the 3 KM approach road that branches out of highway is very very narrow with steep cuts on the sides of the road. It is single lane if another vehicle comes from the opposite direction there is no way to move. Chandon may (or may not) decide to broaden this road…. I hope they do. 2. Food and stay - a crackers n cheese platter is the only snack option. Fairly big in size and filling enough to quieten 2 adults and 1 child. However for larger group, if you plan to have specific food you can inform the Chandon India team and the arrange for food boxes from nearby 5star business hotels. They do not have their on resort or stay arrangement. But for bigger groups they have a tie up with the nearby Yana Farms.

Had a great experience at Chandon Wine in Nashik! The location is beautiful and adds to the overall charm of the place. The atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing time. The highlight, of course, is the wine – absolutely amazing and worth trying! The food is average, but the wine more than makes up for it. Overall, a wonderful place to visit if you're in Nashik.

One of the best Winery in Nashik area, its class apart. You get the feeling that you are in one of the winyards in Napa or Europe! The wines that LVMH makes in India are few and only bubblies... You can have a great time in the day sipping Chandon Brut, Chandon Rose and Chandon Delics. The last one is exclusively sold only at the winyard. Tip: If you want to visit, please call them and book, they take limited people in for winery tour and testing.

Amazing place ... Entry for wine tour is free . ... Wine tasting is 500/- per person... Three variety of wine is offered for tasting... The host is really nice and v get a welcoming feeling

Chandon India Winery ( Moet Hennessy ) has a extra ordinary Vineyard, they have maintained peace of this place, Chandon Wine the way they make it is really nice. Maintain the hygiene. Ambiance is very soothing. Loved this place.

It's an hour's drive from Nashik city ( Gangapur Road ). Good place for a short half day outing , food and beverage options are limited but all good.
