Change is Good is a remarkable used clothing store that goes above and beyond by being a mission-driven social enterprise. I was truly impressed not only by the great selection of clothing but also by the meaningful work they do to help individuals overcoming addiction. It's heartwarming to know that my shopping contributes to such an important cause. The store features an excellent range of high-quality products, including items from well-known brands like Moon River and Lover & Friends. There are some fantastic pieces that were stylish and in great condition. You can find fashionable items while giving clothes a second life. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Shopping here feels good on multiple levels—you're not just updating your wardrobe; you’re also supporting a positive impact in the community.

Zero bias, best thrift in the city. Change is Good is owned and operated by the Calgary Dream Centre and is a social enterprise. For those unfamiliar that means 100% profits go towards the addiction recovery programs offered through there. So literally every purchase is a donation. HOW COOL IS THAT. What makes it that much cooler is everything is local. A local organization that then donates (things not sold) to local organizations. The store is split into 2 parts. Downstairs is all donated clothing and shoes. Wholesale items and small wares and jewelry from local makers!! 80% of the store is local - Calgary or Canada - which is incredible to further support small businesses. A beautifully, dare I say, perfectly curated space. Not to mention the GREAT prices for clothes. Throw it on the top of your thrift list if you’re visiting. This is not a place to miss.

This is a long overdue review, but wow my experience here is something I still rave about! I came across this gem on my way out of town. Cindy & Marissa were dreamy kind stylish thrifty fairy God parents who were sooo helpful (while I shopped til I gained an appetite and walked down the street to the best vegan bakery of my life, might I add). It was truly the most perfect afternoon. I found the best wool sweater, suede jacket, jeans x4 and the fact that it’s not only a sustainable choice but contributes to a cause that’s close to my heart (as a mental health therapist/social worker) was the icing on the cake. The pieces are clearly curated with love. I think about coming back to the city for this experience alone. Idk whether to be embarrassed or proud of that fact. Thanks for all that you do! Change is GREAT!! 🫶🏼🙏🏽

Wow! I am an avid thrifter, and while I love to sift through racks at any old thrift store, I did not realize how much I would LOVE shopping curated thrift. I've gotten so many Aritzia and brand name pieces from CIG and have loved shopping their local makers and vendors as well...I seriously cannot leave this store empty handed! Make sure you pop in to Change is Good the next time you are in Inglewood, the entire staff is so welcoming and there is so much to choose from!

Great store with a great cause! The upstairs portion has racks from vintage resellers, and downstairs are donation based racks with proceeds going to The Calgary Dream Centre! They also have home goods and accessories from local and small businesses

I love everything the shop stands for but my one biggest qualm is with the sizing, I almost never find anything in my size. XL according to them sits at around a 32” in jeans. Which is really heartbreaking, as someone who sits around a 36” waist which is not an uncommon size. The jewelry and house decor do help make up for it a little bit.

Great Store! Great Team! Always new (pre-loved) items on the floor. It is easy to find something to take home every visit! Support local and sustainability all in one place!
