~ throw back to mid of November 2025 ~ This palace is so beautiful! Although the area isn’t very big, every corner is incredibly unique and perfect for photos. It would be good you can spend about 2 hours walk through the whole place. It definitely worth a visit!

Saw this place close to the hotel. Very large area so lots of walking. Interesting to read the history, the kings and queens. Can't imagine the servants going up and down the large stone steps. Also recognized many areas that have been shown in historical k dramas. Just loved the architectural designs. It's winter now so very cold to walk through but minimal crowds. Able to take pictures without people in the middle of them. Loved not having to deal with large crowds.

Changgyeonggung Palace is a very pleasant and calming place to visit. When I went, it was surprisingly quiet, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The peaceful atmosphere allowed me to take my time walking around and really appreciate the surroundings. One of the highlights was the garden at the back of the palace which it added to the sense of tranquility and felt like a perfect escape from the busy city. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to relax, enjoy some greenery and experience a more serene side of Seoul.

Changgyeonggung Palace in South Korea is one of the five major palaces in South Korea and is worth visiting. If you come here, you can ask local friends to play with you, or ask a tour guide to explain it together. Otherwise, it will be very boring if you go alone. This is a building left over from the Joseon Dynasty. The palace is designed very simply. You can see many trees and vegetation. The houses are mainly one-story facilities. The entire area is not very large, and you can enjoy some interesting things. It's a great workout to visit here, with flat ground, stairs and steps. The buildings are mostly open air and wide open. So you can imagine the life and fun they have here. My favorite part was seeing the beautiful, colorful frescoed ceiling. Make sure to look up! I visited 4 main palaces and this one was definitely my favorite. Not because it's the biggest or most colorful, but the architecture of the main building with all the covered roofs is fantastic. It was more peaceful and quiet than some of the other palaces (which are also nice)

It is quieter and the old forest is more impressive than the palace that many people visit. Changdeokgung Palace and Changgyeonggung Palace are more recommended than Gyeongbokgung Palace because you can feel the changes of the seasons right away and the famous kings of Joseon lived in person along with Changdeokgung Palace

How was life Like at the Palace, how did the court Work. Nice to See people in costumes Walking. Masters of wooden craftsmanship. A Bridge to the Palace and Doors into a different world with its courts.

Another fabulous palace this one was rebuilt in the 1400s. Beautiful welcome conserved buildings and if you really wanna see the Secret Garden, you better go there early because he sells out quickly.

The free tour (in English) and the guide was great. She made the 1 h tour very interesting and enlightening. One must enjoy the free tour to better understand, and appreciate, the history.
