Love this place on the shores of Lake Huron! And love Jenny and Don. I've stayed here 5 times, twice with my husband, and every year for the past 3yrs for a girlfriend weekend getaway. There's a reason why we keep coming back! Quality accommodations in a stunning Victoria home, serving fresh homemade breakfasts that change each morning, in a town with a variety of restaurants and lovely shops all walking distance. The garden at Chantry Breezes is so pretty and private. We enjoyed quiet morning and evening tea here, listening to the waves. Less than an hr drive is Owen Sound where there are some nice shops in their downtown, and the year-round Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 8-12:30pm. A 30 min drive to Saugeen Beach is also a must. This yr we were there in Sept, and we went to Saugeen Beach on a day it was very windy and overcast but we loved it, the vibe was so cool, very raw and wild. The beach right by Chantry Breezes...so beautiful, just a 3 minute walk. Wonderful spot to sit to take in the beauty of the water, whether a calm or windy day, and watch sunsets, or soak in the peaceful walking meditation of beachcombing. I've stayed in the Huron Cottage both times I've been with my husband, and in the Bowman-Panamaker Room, and Smith Suite twice with my gf. All wonderful and have their own style and energy. I just love this place, and Jenny and Don are the best hosts, so friendly and helpful, great sense of humour, and so accommodating. I look forward to going back, as always.

I can’t say enough positive things about our lovely stay at the beautiful Chantry Breezes Bed & Breakfast in Southampton. It is quaint, charming and historic while still offering all the amenities and conveniences of modern life. The private gardens are absolutely stunning and the owners, Don and Jenny, work tirelessly to keep everything immaculate – indoors and out. The whole property is warm and welcoming, with delicious breakfasts prepared every morning and served in an elegant, airy, sun-filled dining room. Chantry Breezes is only steps away from the ‘downtown’ core which offers a nice selection of restaurants, shops and attractions. In the other direction, again just steps away, is the magnificent (and super-clean) beach with miles and miles of walking trails. We are very grateful to have visited this wonderful establishment and can’t wait to return in the near future! Thank you! D & G

Very friendly and helpful hosts and a nice place to stay. The building is full of character and the hosts have furnished it nicely with comfort, style and lots of attention to detail. Breakfast is absolutely superb - very hard to beat. Hosts couldn't be more helpful, enjoy friendly chat and genuinely care. Also, just metres from the beach.

Jenny and Don are the consummate hosts. The details are impeccable. Lovely linens and towels and the rooms are gorgeously decorated. Sumptuous breakfasts and they will accommodate requests if dietary restrictions are needed. Why won't google let me do more than 5 stars? This business definitely deserves more than 5!

We chose the last weekend of Sept to stay at Chantry Breezes for the first time and the weather turned out to be gorgeous! We have always loved Southampton since our family vacations years ago when we rented a little cottage and we have always gravitated back towards that shoreline. This was our first time staying at this lovely B&B....although we have always noticed it as we passed by and have often wondered 'What if?'. We absolutely loved our visit! The only problem is that it wasn't long enough. Definitely plan to return for a longer stay next year if they have room for us. Our hosts Jenny and Don were very gracious, friendly and great to chat with. The rooms were lovely, quiet and comfortable and we felt welcome to use the whole house. The breakfast was perfect and delicious. Such a beautiful old house full of warmth and with a relaxing, inviting atmosphere. The best part is that it is just steps to our beloved Southampton beach with the blue waters of Lake Huron, fresh air, gorgeous sunsets and of course our view of Chantry Island. The B&B is situated perfectly, it wraps its arms around you and we loved our time there. We will be back!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Southampton at the Chantry Breezes. Don and Jenny were wonderful hosts. Great breakfast and hospitality! We stayed in one of the cottages which was perfect for our family. Excellent location. Short walk to the beach and to pubs and restaurants. Would love to return (maybe when the weather is warmer :) )

I have stayed here in multiple rooms and cottages over the years and I highly recommend it if you have tor chance to stay it’s the best b&b in town (tried them all) and have never found anything lacking. It has room for the whole family and feels just like home (if home was as elegant and well close to the beach). It has all the amenities and a few you didn’t realize you’d been missing out on! Don and Jenny are warm, helpful people who are a joy to stay with and Jenny’s breakfasts are not to be missed!! She was even able to accommodate my allergies and my grandfather’s diabetic diet :)

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Southampton and stayed at Chantry Breezes. We had never been to either place before. My wife took her first holiday in over a year (thanks Covid!) and I retired the week prior to our stay. What a beautiful place. Jenny & Don welcomed us as if we were old friends - so warm, inviting and personable. And they can both cook! The breakfasts were unrushed and beautifully presented. Fresh berries and muffins, eggs, bacon toast, and their own blend of coffee. We spent the days at farmers markets, walking, and catching some sun at the beach. The restaurants recommended by our hosts were top-notch and within half a block to the B & B. As was the beach, where we watched a beautiful sunset. You would think you were on the Pacific! It's a part of Ontario we had never been to and part of me wants to keep it a secret, but you need to go here and treat yourself to some time at Chantry Breezes. You will love it! Yelp
Chantry Breezes has been a wonderful and welcoming bed and breakfast to my fiancé and I. Despite having a cottage in town we go out of our way to stay here at least once a year. Jenny is one of the most creative people in the kitchen that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. You won't be disappointed by the 1907 built home with most if not all of its character still intact.
