The staff is very friendly. Seafood soup can be hit or miss. One day was absolutely delicious, and the other tasted and looked like a vegetable soup.
Service is definitely faster than in other places around here. People should not forget that this is Costa Rica, and they have their own Tico time 😁

Long wait to be served but worth every minute! We tried mixed sea food in Caribbean sauce, shrimps in garlic sauce and chicken again in caribbean sauce. All amazing! Food was fresh and well cooked served with fried and salad!

We went there for dinner yesterday. The food was pretty good overall. The rice with shrimps was a bit "boring" but I can recommend Chao's Sauce. Prices are ok for cahuita area!

Nacio, or My Nacho as I nicknamed him 😉, was so very friendly and provided excellent service. I enjoyed the beach front bar, ice cold beer and the sweetest, kindest locals to hang out with. There’s not much to Cahuita besides the super chill, slow paced simple life and the beaches but be sure to visit this place if you go! He & the locals made our day for sure!

BEWARE. Waitress tried to scam me. Keep an eye on your bill or they will charge you more than you owe. The menu said my snack was supposed to be 6500 colonies (17.93 CAD) but when i went to pay, she tried to get me to pay 13000 colonies (35.87 CAD). That is quite the increase from the menu. When i asked for clarification her and another worker just kept saying "i dont know, i dont know". Finally i had to show them thier own menu for them to input the correct amount. Very sad considering i wasnt even served what i ordered. I ordered the chicken fajita. I was served fish sticks. Ate them anyways and didnt complain as they tasted ok. I wont find myself there again though.

The food was excellent and some of the best Caribbean rice and beans with chicken we've had. It's a local bar where's the local drunks hang which was certainly provided entertainment. The service was okay.

The food is good enough. The menus around here are pretty uninspiring, but there chicken with rice was perfectly ok.
The young waitress is friendly, the head waitress not so much.
We went a few times. Avoid the tuna sandwich.
