Honestly, this hotel exceeded our expectations, but the caveat is we weren't expecting much given the price we paid.
We stayed at the "Deluxe Apartment" that comprises:
- living room (2 big sofas, TV)
- dining room (dining set)
- kitchen (cooker, full size fridge, hot/cold water dispenser)
- bedroom 1 (1 queen bed)
- bedroom 2 (2 single beds)
- bedroom 3 (1 queen bed, 2 single beds, 1 baby cot)
Each bedroom comes with en suite bathroom, TV, mini fridge, and individual key card access. There're no bathrooms in the common area. So the whole apartment can accommodate 8 adults + 1 baby comfortably, not counting 2 big sofas in the common area that can sleep another 2 adults if required.
The biggest draw is the location, literally steps away from Fahrenheit88 and Lot 10 in Bukit Bintang. Unlike other reviewers, we thankfully didn't experience any noise keeping us awake during our stay. There weren't any odd smells either, but the apartment wasn't exactly spotless. If that's an issue to you, consider elsewhere. The beds were clean and comfortable, that's what mattered more to us.
Biggest complain we have are the TVs. None of them are smart TVs. Those in the bedrooms only offer limited channels. The one in the living room has internet access but only has YouTube app. It needs servicing as the speaker crackles quite badly when the volume is up.
The drain in the shower of bedroom 3 also seems to be a little choked. The shower stall will flood a little if the shower is turned to full blast.
We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what little experience we had with them is pleasant. We also didn't request for any housekeeping during our 3-night stay, so can't comment on that.
This is our frank experience in the "Deluxe Apartment", and we cannot vouch that the other room types will be similar. Would definitely recommend this for value-conscious groups, bearing in mind the shortcomings mentioned above. Don't expect luxury accommodations on a budget price tag and you may be pleasantly surprised.
