I was on a business trip with just one night layover in Doha, and a good friend of mine (who’s been living there professionally for a while) insisted on taking me out for a late-night supper. Honestly, I was still full from dinner — but he swore this place was unmissable, so I gave in. And thank goodness I did!
We went to Chapati & Karak Cafe, and I was immediately impressed — they even have a drive-through service, which is not something you see often for a café-style setup. We ordered their signature chai tea and something I can’t quite name, but it looked like a rolled chapati with a sweet twist. One bite, one sip — and wow. Absolutely delicious. The tea was rich, aromatic, and comforting, and the chapati-like treat had that perfect balance of texture and sweetness.
It's one of those places you’d regret skipping. Cozy, casual, and full of flavor. Next time I’m in Doha, I’m definitely bringing my family here — this gem deserves more than just a quick stop. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a true taste of local favorites!
