As a fan of History Channel's Curse of Oak Island with all their talk of the Knights Templar, I had to take the opportunity to see one of their chapels in person. The only drawback was it was my last day in Metz, and the Temple didn't open until 1400. So, I could only admire its simplistic beauty from the outside.

With such fascinating history, it's worth exploring. Impressively unique vestige of Templar Commandery founded around the twelfth century in Metz. This is stunningly stupendous with an ambience so enticing that you just want to absorb the atmosphere and soak in its history! The most stunning of course is the Chapel with its glorious painted dome! It's wheelchair friendly and suitable for all ages. A hidden gem in this most spectacular city of Metz.
