Great beach, but for an entrance fee of $30 there should be something more than a porta potty. We had originally tried corporation beach (which does have facilities for its $30 fee), then mayflower beach (never been), which were both at capacity. This one was, too, however we only had to wait 30mins or so in a "waiting" line to enter which wasn't bad as we decided to just eat our "beach lunch" in the car while we waited. The beach itself is beautiful, BUT if you have toddlers in tow, you have been warned: low tide means you'll be lugging your 35lb 3 year who was cranky and didn't want to walk in the sand along with carrying all the beach stuff out for what feels like forever until you reach the water. Then you make camp, BUT if you show up early afternoon that means low tide is coming in soon and guess what... you spend the next few hours slowly retreating back towards the entrances which is not easy when your playing with your kid in the water and have to make a beeline to grab your things before they get soaked (which happened several times). So my advice would be to just start out as far back as your comfortable with.. or definitely to show up early enough that you're not impacted by the tide coming back in. We had a great time but Corporation beach is better (facilities and less of a hike during low tide).
