Chapter House Boutique Hotel

Such a fabulous place to stay when in Franschhoek. We had a room with a private pool and loved it. The staff are really attentive, the hotel is clean and the breakfast is great too! The hotel is in walking distance to the town where you’ll find great shops and restaurants. I’d definitely recommend!

We are a couple in our 30s. We loved the hotel and the central location in Franschhoek. The hotel is a walkable distance from restaurants, shops and the wine tram. The pool area is lovely and is bigger than the photos show. Complementary tea and coffee and cake of the day was a nice touch. The staff were excellent, and very accommodating, even putting together a breakfast box for our early morning check out.

We had a great experience and 2 night stay at the Chapter House. The staff were all very friendly and were happy to answer any questions or requests we had. The room was stunning and we were fortunate enough to have our own balcony which we watched the sun set both nights. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you are in the Franschhoek area. Thanks so much for the beautiful stay. Friendly staff, great room wirh the balcony overlooking the mountains, delicious breakfast, great location! Most of all though is how far the service went whem we accidentally left a bag behind. We only realized once we arrived in capetown. The manager took it to their cape town branch where we picked it up. Truly remarkable and made out vacation less strssful than it could have been. After seeing and finding out about the tree house deeply regreted not going there. Next time though!

My partner and I had the most wonderful stay. Lovely, tasteful and modern rooms with Franschhoek charm. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, with afternoon cake and delicious breakfasts. The hotel is superbly located, walking distance to the high street and many good restaurants. Highly recommend!

Charming small boutique hotel in the heart of beautiful Franschoek. We stayed for 2 nights to explore and visit the wine estates. The location is great, a safe and short walk to the high street for shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were so attentive and helpful, I would absolutely visit again. We were too busy to try the pool or spa so could have easily stayed a few more days

Chapter House. Hard to know where to start, but I’ll say this: they’ve got it figured out. The kind of place where things just work the way they should, and people like Wesley make you wonder why every place can’t be this good. He’s sharp, attentive, and the sort of person who seems to know what you need before you do. The rest of the staff? Just as impressive. It’s rare to find a team so genuinely interested in making things better for you without a hint of fuss. The place itself has a quiet charm—no flashy gimmicks, just good taste and a sense of ease. You walk in feeling like a guest, and you leave wondering how long it’ll be before you come back. If there’s a better place out there, I haven’t found it.

Excellent location, making it easy to walk around Franschhoek. Rooms and service are excellent. Breakfast is very good. It was expensive, even in euro.l, so we were disappointed that our private plunge pool was not heated.
