What an amazing experience at Charcut! We've been frequent visitors to the downtown location, and it has never disappointed. This time, we enjoyed a family gathering (kid-free!) and had a fantastic outing. The food was phenomenal, with the charcuterie board stealing the spotlight. The bison meat was absolutely incredible—hands down the best I’ve ever tasted! The service was top-notch, attentive, and friendly 👌🏻👍🏻. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to explore more dishes on the menu!

Had a great dinner with my family here! Their carbonara was great! Al-dente pasta with cheesy cream based sauce and a yolk that adds character and flavour. Their happy hour is great value too, especially if you want to try out their cocktails. We had a pizza, but I wish we could order Connie & John’s pizza for dine-in. The staff said they used the same oven, but the Charcut pizza vs C&J is way different from each other. Their selection of charcuterie meats was the highlight of our night! Parking can be tricky around University district, so plan ahead!

No complaints on their ability to handle a large group of 11. This place is just as good as their downtown location. Their fish is excwptional, handled with a delicacy of the best Chinese steamed fish but with Italian butter and lemon flavors. Would be excellent with rice. My complaint is that the desserts are trying too hard, the "cheesecake" and Italian flan are far too deconstructed leaving the doughnuts the best dessert because of it's conventional nature.

Food, atmosphere and staff were all exceptional! Dinner was served quickly and everything was spot on. We ordered the carpaccio, 14oz steak strip, roasted carrots and clam vongloe. The pasta was by far my favorite, fresh, al dente and well seasoned and sauces! My company never had such a great steak cooked to their liking as well as they did here. We are planning our next trip back!

The service at this restaurant was amazing and I enjoyed their decor as well as the little semi circle couch they seated us in front of a fireplace. Unfortunately the food was not good, certainly not for the price. The bison mushroom dish I ordered was overpowered by a pickled flavour. I don’t think I would go back.

Finally a super restaurant in the Northwest. The service and food were both magnificent till the end. We were looking to finish a satisfying meal with coffees and dessert. The coffees came expeditiously. Despite inquiring three times about the dessert and being told it was coming, it never did. Since it was already about 5 minutes past the time we finished our coffees we cancelled dessert. This was our first time out at the University location. Sad to say, but we left with a diminished impression of the place. Another thing not strictly under the control of the restaurant was a table of clearly inebriated patrons screaming and screeching to a level that was completely inappropriate for a civilized public place.

Brought my in-laws here and it was their favourite steak and prime rib they’ve ever had. The house-made charcuterie brings us back to Italy every time 🇮🇹❤️There’s something for everyone with great pastas and pizzas, meat and cocktails - tip: eat the pizza fresh cuz the crust is aMAZing 🙌🙌 One of those rare gems of a place that has an expansive menu and great vibe that’s perfect for both an everyday place and special night out.

We have two people enjoying a meal together. The pasta and beef are both good and the atmosphere is lovely. The octopus flavor is a bit subtle due to the sauce, but still tasty. The fried pork belly is a bit heavy on the fat and skin, could use more meat. Overall it's not a bad experience.
