Charles Aznavour Square is a nice and lively spot in the city. It’s pleasant to walk around, with a good atmosphere and lots of activity. Not a must-see, but definitely a pleasant place to pass through or take a short break.

It is a cozy little square in the heart of the city, very close to Northern Avenue. We enjoyed taking a short break of our city sightseeing tour here. It is pleasant to grab a coffee and to sit a moment at the fountain. The building of the Moscow movie theatre is also one of the more well-known buildings in the city. Enjoy!

A beautiful square with fountain as centre piece, a place to meet and have coffee and food.

Sculptures, a fountain, some kiosks for quick snacks and proper restos surrounding the square if you want a proper meal or an afternoon apero. The detail on the sculptures surrounding the fountain is amazing. And the entire area seems to be filled with families and tourists alike. Grab a coffee, sit down somewhere and go read a book and just have fun people-watching!

This quaint and secure area, reminiscent of the Soviet era, offers a charming atmosphere with an abundance of restaurants, coffee shops, and gift shops. It's a lovely place for a leisurely stroll, but visitors should keep their belongings close.

I visited Charles Aznavour Square with genuine anticipation, drawn by the homage to a legendary artist, but my experience was tragically overshadowed by an atmosphere of blatant racism and outright discrimination from individuals in and around the area. It is absolutely disgraceful that a public space named after a figure representing universal art and humanity would become a stage for such contemptible and "dishonorable" behavior. The beauty of the architecture cannot compensate for the feeling of being unwelcome and targeted based on one's origin or identity. Caution is strongly advised, as the pervasive bigotry ruins any potential enjoyment, turning the visit into a deeply upsetting and regrettable experience.
