It is SO BIG. I'd have liked more signage but the lady at the Information desk was helpful, as were the other two people I asked for direction! The car park kennels are also enormous. Perhaps a bit more than one title for the whole of one level would be helpful, with directions and signage accordingly.

Well its definitely changed since I was there last 🤣🤣🤣 High ended stores Vs the regular kmart and target etc. So good place to go when you need ideas for a gift or have ideas of what you want, this place 100% got you covered!!!!

Charlestown Square is definitely one of my favourite spots to visit when I’m in the Newcastle area. It’s huge, modern, and has pretty much everything you need under one roof, from big-name fashion stores to supermarkets and specialty shops. The variety is impressive, and I always end up discovering something new every time I go. What I really love is that it’s not just about shopping. There’s so much more to do whether it’s catching a movie at Reading Cinemas, hanging out at Strike Bowling or Timezone, or just enjoying a meal at one of the cafes or restaurants in The Corner dining area. It’s a great place to spend a full day out, especially with family or friends. The layout is easy to navigate, and there’s plenty of parking, which makes the whole experience a lot more convenient. Compared to other centres, Charlestown Square stands out for being both spacious and lively without feeling overcrowded. If you’re looking for a place that combines shopping, food, and entertainment all in one, Charlestown Square is definitely worth a visit. It has a really welcoming vibe, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Charlestown Square is a shopper's paradise. The multiple food courts offer dining options for shoppers making a day of it. The cinemas provide a fantastic movie-watching experience with comfy seating and top-notch sound. The mall itself is beautifully designed, with a plethora of stores to explore. It's a must-visit destination for retail therapy and entertainment.

Google
Charlestown Square stands out as a premier shopping destination in the Newcastle area, offering a vast selection of stores, diverse dining options, and entertainment facilities. While there are areas for improvement, such as facility cleanliness and parking navigation, the centre’s comprehensive offerings make it a worthwhile visit for both locals and tourists.

Favourite shopping center to take my children. So much to do and we always have a good time. The store is usually pretty tidy and the staff around are always helpful.

Spent half the day and a lot of money at the centre doing bowling, putt putt and lunch with the family. Only to be a few mins over the minimum parking time. Won’t be back, next time we will just go bowling at Warners bay and shop at Westfield Kotara. It is a more pleasant experience.

Yelp
One of my favourite malls. Not just cause its local but cause of design. Large open spaces I like! I could hang out here all day with friends if I had the time. Great variety of shops, cafes, fresh foods, an Apple store (of course), great food court -where u can get the best duck laksa, and a relaxing out door area to hang, eat or just let the kids play in the water features or ship playground. Hard to find parking on a rainy day cause everyone wants to be here.

Yelp
The best place to shop at, multiple clothing and shoe stores with new and trendy items, a multicultural food court, options for entertainment, and options for just general grocery shopping. Most stores are pricier than others however they definitely have cheaper options. Definitely a go to for basic girly needs, i.e sephora and mecca maxima, charlestown is one of the only places in newcastle that has these stores.

Yelp
If you are a shopaholic, Charlestown Square is the place to be! Shoe and clothing stores aplenty. Coles and Woolworths for your grocery needs. Cinema, bowling and laser tag to entertain. A variety of eat in and take away food options. I don't enjoy shopping but this is perfect for getting what you want in the one spot. Parking and crowds can be a deterrent. I come between Monday and Friday to avoid the weekend rush. Recently joined the Wests group. Take your membership card to help desk near Strandbags and they will validate your parking to 5 hours free, instead of the normal 3 hours. WINNING!

Yelp
Massive shopping centre with all the shops you need to consume consume consume , it's kinda strange that on a Thursday midday the place is packed hmmmm does anyone work up here lol parking is terrible , they funnel everyone in but there's no parking after driving around in circles I ended up parking on the street lol

Yelp
The 'new' extension is well lit and designed, but that is lost because the original design is so terrible. The underground supermarket/food suppliers reminds me of a train station. The entire place is filthy, and like a maze, and honestly, the shops are unremarkable - the same places you can find anywhere. It's not a fun or enjoyable experience to visit and I avoid it wherever possible.

Yelp
Great, comprehensive, modern shopping mall in the heart of Charlestown, near Newcastle.

Yelp
Parking a rip off disgusted with the pricing of parking....... Take kids for a awesome day at megamania, then pay just as much for parking this is absolutely a turn off to visit Charlestown. Management needs to think about this and do something about it!

Yelp
One of two shopping malls in the area. has all the major shops, centered around a Myers. Also has a movie theatre, Reading.
