Tried for first time me and my wife. Ordering at Kiosk pretty simple Catfish 7 out of 10 Good seasoning would have been higher if it was fresher Mac n cheese 9 out of 10 Greens 9 out of 10 Potato salad 7 out of 10 Yams 5 out of 10 Smothered chicken 9 out of 10 Strawberry crunch cake 9 out of 10 Customer service could have been better 5 out of 10. Little warm in location, but overall I’d give a 7 out of 10 and recommend trying food items they can cook👍🏾

This is the best choice for soul food a true mom & pop hole-in-the-wall. What a find! Looking for a little lunch and found a treasure. Down home, cooked with love meals. My first ever trying this southern fried bistro, I had to go pick up breakfast for the morning meeting at job. Got there when the place just open and it was busy. The staff was professional, friendly, helpful family orientate vibe. Fast delivery on door dash, Best brunch, Dining. ! All 5 of us enjoyed our food. You won't be disappointed! Definitely going back!

I’m really sad to leave this review. I had high hopes but upon initial walk in, lady who greeted us was not friendly. She had a major attitude like we walked in and interrupted her. Told her we wanted to dine in she told us to take a seat. Tables were okay a bit cramped and needed cleaning but we moved down a bench and no worries. Waited a hour for our food that looked FABULOUS but when we bit into the greens (they were RAW) coleslaw was made with MAYO, and not tartar sauce, cabbage had some funny taste to them (mom swears it’s sugar) I bought the watermelon lemonade it says on the menu that it is made with cane sugar, however it’s a watermelon syrup they put in the bottom of the cup, and TOO MUCH SYRUP and TOO SWEET!!! The corn was good (but u can’t really mess up corn) they sprinkled a bit of Cajun seasoning on top in one spot of the corn but, whatever. Now to the fish. It was FROZEN and fried. It wasn’t defrosted so u can taste all the WATER that was in there freezer. Not gonna lie, the breading for the fish was okay. A bit salty but edible. Shrimps were pretty good. I did enjoy the freshness of the shrimp and the batter was just right for the shrimp. But the FISH (catfish to be exact) it was bad…like my 10 year old son would fry better fish than that, to be honest. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! If I HAD to rate the place I would give 2/10 and the 2 is for the shrimp. Bathroom was nasty. Idk. It makes sense that there wasn’t many people in there. A few follow me in, one being a follower of mine, I’m so sorry brother! 😭 don’t do it. It ain’t worth it. 89 bucks I’ll never get back for BAD food. I’m so disappointed 😔 oh yeah no refills and cans of coke are almost $5 a can😩

Update 3rd time The food is great. But tonight, I went into the location.. the older lady who took my order seemed frustrated while taking my order. Definitely, she didn't say anything wrong she just had an attitude. The food was good, tho. It's my 2nd time having it, and it's so good. Keep doing what yall are doing

Horrible!! Didn't get greeted, had questions about food on the menu. The lady came from the back and said she work in the morning so she don't know. My husband got a 30$ steak meal. It was cooked too long probably explain the size and the texture. The fish was mushy and the chicken was under cooked. Somebody was really heavy handed when It came to the salt. All and all I wouldn't feed this to my dog. Zero stars what a waste of money.

Food was delectable. Some of the best fried okra, red beans and rice, and texas toast I have ever had. The cajun pasta was delicious and the steak was deliciously seasoned. Would recommend and would return. Dee was great also!

The restaurant is clean, the wait for mediocre food is something else. I ordered catfish okra and corn. With red velvet cake as my desert. My okra was scooped with the same utensil as my husbands potato salad..big NoNo! I don’t like me food touching. It was warm, at best. The catfish was tasty. It’s hard to botch corn on the cob. My cake was hard on the edges and dry. My husband ordered rib tips, baked beans potato salad and peach cobbler. I took a pic of the peach cobbler desert. We both ordered strawberry lemonade, was told they were out of strawberry syrup. We had to change to wild berry lemonade. After a small wait we had our food. My husband didn’t want to check inside the restaurant (as I usually do on carry-out orders). He wanted to wait til we got to the car, then just did a quick peek and felt his was fine. I, on the other hand, was upset I had potato salad remnants in my warm orka. I wanted a refund immediately. This was a costly choice, I will not make again. Our total was well over $75 for two meals, drinks and desserts. As much as the cost, there should be separate containers for sides on a carry out order….First impressions…meh

I am visiting from atl, we decided to try this place since it was in route to our stay. I ordered the rib to plate, they had more bones than meat in the plate. They were also dried out and smothered in bbq sauce to cover up the dry meat texture. The collard greens selection had a bunch of the stems than greens. The red beans are not seasoned well, just canned tomatoes and pepper. I was very disappointed since the name says “soul food” I expected better.
