Charlie's Tacos

Honestly the best tacos in phx. They taste like Mexico street tacos that are usually bomb. The are mini tacos but they always fill them perfectly 🤤 they come with limes on the side, guacamole sauce, cabbage and salsa. The salsa is homemade so sometimes it's spicy and sometimes it's mild so if you don't like spicy just ask for the salsa on the side.

I go here after work every now and then since they're only open Thursday thru Sunday nights. Their tacos are small but mighty and tasty! Keep in mind that the parking side off of Camelback is very small, so if the bar is busy, park around the back. My go to's are the Carne asada tacos and the mini Quesadillas. Excellent bang for your buck!

This could've been a mishap but there is definitely no recognition or accountability when mistakes are made, I had order just 3 tacos cause I wanted something quick and to go and I've been coming here often and also before when it was taco yaquis, I placed my order and one of the workers gave me a receipt with number, so I waited in my car for a bit, I noticed the girl right behind me got her order and thought maybe she ordered something that is already made, but then 2 more customers got their order as well and they were also behind me, and I noticed the number was already 3 or 4 numbers ahead of me on the counter and I ask the guy who was handling the order when they're done which i guess is the one who takes the order number paper and put it in. When I asked I get a straight quick answer like almost ignored, didn't even try to understand my number and was like "no I haven't called it." Something along those lines. After waiting another 2 to 3 customers that pulled up after me getting their order I finally got mine with no apology or nothing. And I tipped on a to go order. I came because I know they're usually quick when not busy and it wasn't. I waited like 20 minutes after placing my order. The least the workers could've done was give an apology or something maybe even throw in a drink to compensate. I come here because of the tacos are decent. I just wish the employees had a better sense of servicing and efficiency when it comes to fulfilling customers orders.

I came here after a concert on Thursday night (sober) to add, and unfortunately had a really poor experience. The gentleman at the register was extremely rude when I asked him to repeat himself — he was mumbling and speaking so low that I couldn’t hear him over the noise in the location. When I asked for clarification, he seemed annoyed and dismissive. I do enjoy the food here, but the service has been disappointing the past few times I’ve visited.

Great little taco truck serving Sonoran style carne asada (corn tortillas, loaded with carne asada steak, cabbage, salsa and avocado) next to the bar. The salsa is spicy (hot) so we order it on the side and without the avocado. I've also ordered the burrito (it's huge - stuffed full of asada and I can't usually finish it). They offer other foods as well. Overall... Not a great area of town and no charm, but the food is worth the trip.

Not sure how you can mess up a carne asada quesadilla. The simplest food. Well, the one I had was horrible. The cheese was not melted at all. It was obviously cheep fake mozzarella shredded “cheese” with a cheap tortilla. Seriously, cold cheese which wasn’t even melted. Most horrible quesadilla I ever had in my life. They just poured the cheese from y he bag and folded the tortilla.

Tacos were good. I got a quesadilla and I did not like it. Cool atmosphere worth stopping by for a taco.

Great food and tacos. Especially the chicken quesadilla. But the waits are getting longer and longer 😭 please do something to help with this

Tacos are always so good. I want to try some of their other menu items. I sure I will in the future. If the tacos are this good then can only image the rest of the menu.

If I could give this taco truck 100 stars I would. My husband & I are regulars at this place. Not only do they have the most amazing food, the price you absolutely can't beat for the best quality producta, they also have thee most amazing staff. From ordering your food from Jesse or Ray ( who I am I kidding they know our order ) to getting your food so quickly you will be amazed. We love to make it a family event. We bring every friend who comes to visit to this truck and I've never had anyone say anything bad about it! Amazing foo, bomb prices, & the kindest staff!!!

The quesadillas con carne were delicious! It's one of the few taco trucks in Phoenix open late and they are definitely worth it!

Absolutely love their Tacos! Tried their Beef taco. Rumored to be that it was less than $1 per taco and is currently priced at $1.50 now. I wouldn't mind paying for it and could totally have 10 to myself. Easy peasy! It was just that good! I would rank this as one of the best tacos I've had at a non franchised place. The downside to this is the wait time. They're a little slow when it comes to taking the orders and making the.

You might know that this was the spot where taqueria los Yaqui used to be. Decided to come give them a try because I miss those tacos so much! Well it did not disappoint! It's not the same but it's very similar. Prices are still the same $1 tacos and $2 mini quesadillas. They now accept cards and you can order online. You no longer have to do the 45min line wait! If you know, you know! The tables and services is still the same. You still got drinks and orchata. Will keep tacos Charlie's on my back pocket for more tacos later on!

Tacos are great. I always get chicken tacos. Id like to try other items on the menu but the chicken tacos are great for $2. Place is open til 4am. Best place around in that area no contest. Nothing else even open past 9pm.

I absolutely love the food here! Everything on the menu is amazing! I drive a nice distance for this regularly! I definitely recommend it to everyone!

Worst nachos I've ever had. Years ago they were awesome. This time got them to go and maybe 10- 15 chips. 20 min wait was the shi**y cherry on top.

We landed late in Phoenix and were starving. With few places open past 11pm, we ended up at Charlie's. While the main disco parking lot is a bit sketchy, it's safe and there are a lot of people around. Walk around the corner to the Camelback Rd. side and the taco truck experience is awesome. Food is amazing and cheap!!! The Jamaica and Horchata were amazing too. Highly recommend the tacos and mini quesadillas

Came here late at night during a monsoon and it was still busy. This place is good. It's nothing fancy, but they deliver really tasty tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. They only have beef and chicken to choose from. Everything is really simply prepared, but flavorful. The burrito is basically just meat and it was bomb. The bean and cheese burrito was so good. Would order those two again in a heartbeat.

These taco place does not need a review but deserves it. I love food and they deliver good tasty tacos. I usually ask for everything in my orders. The tacos are delicious, the meat itself is very well marinated and prepared. They addition of cole slaw and sauces makes the tacos a full flavor experience. The tacos are not too dry, they only give you one tortilla per taco, which I find Perfect, as there is more space in your tummy to eat more. The mini quesadillas and the quesadillas themselves are amazing. The mixture of the sauces, cole slaw and cheese makes it a cheesy delicious juicy quesadilla. The only thing I wish they would have is more meats or no meat options. The only options are chocked and asada (steak). This is not a vegetarian friendly place if you are very hungry, unless you just want chips and salsa. I never have asked if there is simple quesadillas, but I imagine is doable. They could add more options there. The price is amazing! I am never let down after 4 tacos and 2 mini quesadillas and is not more than 15 dollars. Yes, I eat a lot. Unfortunately they don't deliver and also are there just the weekends. They stay open past midnight so if you want a late eat, definitely go there. Parking in front in limited, but you can always park by the club parking lot and walk there. Service is really fast and they are always wearing a mask. Importantly the person who handles the money never touches your food. And the people cooking your food never handle anything that other people have and they are always wearing gloves. Hygiene on point.

Two weeks back I offered mistakenly the nachos instead of tacos but immediately figured I made a mistake and asked the guy to please cancel the order ( at that time he had already charged me) and he said the money will be credited back to you in five six business days , it's been almost two weeks now, I haven't been refunded and by calling my bank I found out they never reversed the payment in first place otherwise it'll be here!!

This place is ok. I came to see if my favorite taco spot called taco yaquis but I guess they went out of business. I got the quesadilla carne asada and it was ok. Not my type of spot nor would I come back but hey! Give it a try! You guys might like it.

All I can say is BOMB.COM!! Lol! Friends dragged me to the club but the best thing is that I was introduced to these delicious tacos!! $1 per tacos!!!! Where can you find that price and good quality food nowadays! The salsa is spicy for some but if you can eat spicy it is so gooood. The mini quesadilla were also good. You can park and order on the outside of the club. It opens late!!! And the price is amazing! Of course waits can be long but definitely worth it!

Honestly used to love Charlie's with the old owners , these people haven't welcoming & the food hasn't been that great. I went last night to grab food & they had no line yet my food still took 30 mins for some tacos & at that my food was cold & soggy as if it's been sitting there .

Tacos are sooo good. Meat is flavorful and the toppings are perfect a great addition. They never disappoint. Some of the best tacos in town.
