Charlotte Beer Garden is a lot of fun! I love the aesthetic of the outside, and the inside of the restaurant is no less visually appealing! There are three (3) floors, with the top floor having an awesome balcony setup. I haven’t spent much time on the ground floor, but I love the middle floor as well, as that appears to be where they store their brewing apparatus, as well as TVs to watch the sports games on. It’s also a great place to meet people and socialize, and I’ve always found the staff to be very friendly! Would recommend!

Google
Junior is the absolute best! His knowledge, personality and ability to handle a large crowd while maintaining conversation and slinging drinks is unreal. Our food was delicious; experience out of this world! The atmosphere was fun, clean and welcoming. There is also a parking garage across the street if you’re unable to find street parking. Will definitely be back!

I had a great time at this bar! The atmosphere is really inviting—cozy, stylish, and perfect whether you're out with friends or just looking to relax. The bartender and server were both friendly and attentive, making the experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The food was surprisingly good—better than your typical bar fare—and there's a massive selection of beers to choose from, which was a definite highlight for me. If you're a beer lover, this place won't disappoint. The only downside to an otherwise great visit was Ryan the manager’s attitude. It came off as a bit dismissive and not in line with the great service provided by the rest of the staff. Still, I wouldn’t let that overshadow the overall experience. Even i understand the reason, it wasn't the right approach. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! Let me know if you'd like to make it more formal, humorous, or tailored to a specific bar.

Came here to grab a beer and check out the scenery. Neat place with 3 stories, all with different vibes. The top floor was decked out in shark week decor! Would definitely come back.

Google
Went here for some drinks on a Friday night, the service was fast paced and the bartenders gave great recommendations. The atmosphere was very welcoming with amazing decor. Three levels of seating with a bar on each floor, as well as rooftop outdoor seating section. Plenty of drink options. A little confusing of a set up if you’ve never been before, other than that it was amazing!

Google
I had a fantastic experience thanks to Keaton! Their positive energy and hard work truly made my visit special. Not only were they knowledgeable about the food and drinks, but they also excelled at multitasking, ensuring that every customer felt attended to. I was impressed by how kind they were to both customers and coworkers, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. I was very impressed by his work ethic and I look forward to being helped by Keaton again. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy a drink, I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing the wonderful service at the bar! Thank you!

Google
Bartender welcomed us and was very attentive. She knew her stuff at the downstairs bar. Visited two nights in a row.

Yelp
Huge spot with more beer taps than you can count! We came for a birthday dinner with a large group on a Friday evening and surprisingly had no issues getting a large table downstairs. I imagine it's get much livelier at night. The cocktails are subpar (stick with what they're known for or a well drink if you want liquor), but the burger was great. Fries were cold and a little dry, but the burger was huge and perfectly cooked. Service and ambience was great - would definitely recommend for grabbing a drink!

Yelp
We visited this spot on Saturday night. Mixed crowd. Three floors of music and drinks? Yeah, thats my type of vibe. Ample seating. The tree in the middle of the restaurant/bar adds a slightly romantic theme to the place. It's giving an elevated Tarzan vibe. Great for pictures. Too many beer options to count so we ordered mixed drinks. We tried 3 different appetizers. Mac and cheese bites, tuna wontons and burrata. My favorite appetizer was the tuna wontons even though it was messy, it was super flavorful. I've never had eel sauce and I didn't think twice about it after I started eating. The burrata was good. A nice shareable appetizer. But Mac and cheese bites left much to be desired. I needed a little something extra to make it stand out. You pretty much gotta pay for parking but it was like $10 for 6 hours so not bad. Get the ParkMobile app. I would definitely visit this place again.

Yelp
Whatever you want, you'll find it here!! 3 floors of mighty beer and booze goodness. A solid menu at reasonable prices. And if you need more than that...wine, cocktails, rooftop bar, outside dining...cool lounge vibe, great people. What do you want? You'll find it here. Or you're just not looking hard enough!
google avatar

Yelp
What an absolutely ridiculous concept. You have one bar for beers from North Carolina and another bar on a different floor for beers outside of North Carolina. You have to go up and down the stairs to order beers.
google avatar

Josh T.

Yelp
On the road traveling and we came upon this spot for a quick meal. Seemed like a very popular spot especially for a younger crowd. They ID everyone at the door. It was a rainy night so didn't get to use the outdoor seating area but it was huge. We weren't really able to get a server, however we were able to sit at a couch and place an order to at least eat without service. The Dry Rub Wings were very good. The Burger and Quesadilla were good as well.
google avatar

Yelp
I think they have a thousand separate beers here. If you're going to try to drink them all, you'll leave with liver damage. I didn't try. Early afternoon and not quite ready to head home, I stopped here with my laptop. There's nothing wrong with cranking out a couple Yelp reviews with a frosty beverage next to your computer, right? Friendly beertenders who know a ton. Are you looking for something specific? Just ask. [Review 509 of 2025 - 4111 in North Carolina - 24071 overall]

Yelp
"I might move to Charlotte," I say in awe, as I walk into the Charlotte Beer Garden. My backpack is still on from the airplane, and I'm here to burn some time before hotel checkin. There are three levels of beer with a tree inside and a rooftop bar. Every employee encountered was helpful and welcoming. 400+ taps (bartender couldn't remember if it was 427 or 438... I can't count that high either.) Arriving from pittsburgh, this spot is exactly what I needed to start a weekend.
google avatar

Rick T.

Yelp
Each floor has something different to offer beer wise. The first floor is for spirits. Pretty unique beers found on the second floor. Staff were quick to accommodate us for drinks. Parking is difficult.

Grant H.

Yelp
Food and drinks were very good but the Bartenders were very rude. Especially the gentleman wearing the WV hat on the rooftop. Dismissive and rude. Will not be coming back here if he is still upstairs
google avatar

Nina Q.

Yelp
This review will specifically be about the pretzels - this is CBG, of course the beer is great and the location beautiful. The food and pretzels? Great if you're looking to soak up some extra drinks. Definitely not a place you'd go for brunch or lunch, but the food hits the spot with a cold beer.
google avatar

Yelp
One word to describe this place is overwhelming. There are a lot of draft beers to choose from, and 3 different floors on which to retrieve said beers. It's very well executed considering too. I opened a tab on the 1st floor bar and we were able to walk around to the other floors and order beers and cocktails at the other bars too. I had a Cheerwine Wheat beer, an Alagash White, and an Old Fashioned and wow, what a great old fashioned, especially for a beer bar! Parking was a challenge but if I was staying in a hotel nearby, I'd definitely come here again. If you are driving, get the ParkMobile app to pay for street parking.

Yelp
Love the vibes in here. Plenty of seating and TVs so it makes for a great group hangout place. Tons of drinks so everyone is sure to find something they like. 1st floor is local brews, 2nd floor is international brews. Be sure to scan the QR code if you're sitting at a table and you can use their filters to find a good drink to order by sorting the ABV percent, IBU, origin, etc.! Always a good crowd here with a packed roof top. So much fun

LaToria L.

Yelp
Our bartender was knowledgeable. I explained I only liked ciders and she created a cider flight with her own preference for me . It was loud but it's a brewery I didn't mind . Prices were great as well . It was under $20 for all 4 ciders which I also enjoyed.
google avatar

Yelp
Great friendly staff. Amazing beer selection. I love that they have different bars for different beers, liquors. Wish I had time for food here. Maybe next time They also have a very cool like inside outside bar and the beer garden. Very cool spot

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE on a Friday! I was greeted by the hostess and that was the only positive part of my experience. The bartender had no sincere of customer service, and when I asked how she was she responded with "what's up". We ordered drinks at the bar and sat at a table. We waited two hours before being acknowledged. They had staff members (4) chatting by the bar, and when we asked for assistance they refused to service us. We did have a manager who approached us, and when we shared our experience he said "it's bar service only and we could only order at the bar" If you are looking for decent customer service PLEASE VIAIT ANYWHERE IN SOUTH END BUT HERE. If you are looking to watch five servers stand around and ignore you, this is your establishment!

Tim C.

Yelp
Go for the beer not the service. Group of 7 went the night before the football game. Sat at table. No server for 25 minutes. Then one showed up and took our order - missed drinks. Had to reorder. Then it started getting cold. Lots of patio heaters - none with propane. Froze our ass off. But they do have these patio fireplaces nowhere near customer tables. This is where everyone huddled. Maybe they should have said no propane before seating? Food comes out - cold. Burger wasnt bad tasting just cold. Likely sitting for a while waiting. We will not go back.

Yelp
Unbelievable selection of beer!! So many options including sours, etc. Great place to meet friends and enjoy the variety of beer and nice weather.
google avatar

Blake H.

Yelp
This place has every bear available that you'd desire! So many options and every floor including the first floor where all of the local beers are. The space is super chill and would be great for an after work, evening or weekend meet up spot with friends. Our food was good. We really enjoyed the Buffalo wings!! The service was a somewhat lackluster, but everyone was nice when we eventually were served.

Yelp
This "next best thing to getting to Charlotte breweries" is a pretty good thing on its own. With lots of space, multiple levels with multiple seating options, including a rooftop area, It's a great space for parties of any size to get together. The drinks available on each floor are well organized, but in some cases so overwhelming that I'm sure some of the bartenders need a directory for what's currently available. That's especially true on the first floor with all those beers on tap! I didn't order food, but it looked delicious and seemed to come out quickly. My one disappointment was that they did not seem to have a significant number of beers of the types I like (darker ones), but that could have again been the result of having to know or find them among the hundreds available. But it's definitely worth visits.

Zachary D.

Yelp
Met a friend for beers. Love the open air seating which is plentiful and lots of bars to order from. Their beer selection is solid and chalked full of local/regional beers. We never had to wait for a beer so staff was on their game. 1) Solid brunch spot for groups. 2) Nice neighborhood scene with a nice young professional crowd. 3) I had the chicken wings and they were just ok but the poutine was just like I remember it from Calgary.

Yelp
Literally kicked all of us out bc our IDS were "fake". we were sat, not disruptive, totally normal and they only came to US out of everyone in the crowd to kick us out LOL. We were trying to tell them our IDS were real bc they ARE and the bouncer with serious insecurity issues asked to leave which we did. we were checked 3 TIMES prior to and they still had us leave. 0/10 if u have a real ID they'll still ask u to leave

Yelp
I noticed this spot while walking to another bar nearby, and decided we had to check it out before heading home. Nate and I were in the area randomly so I didn't know what was around. I'm glad we found this spot! We had a great experience but I think that's due to the time we got there. It wasn't super busy yet, so we were able to grab a couple spots at one of the main floor bars. There are several bars throughout the whole building, which is three stories tall and pretty roomy inside. There's also a nice outdoor area. They have 400+ taps and the menu online is pretty easy to navigate. The bar downstairs was listed as all "local" options, and the bar upstairs was "international". I opted for a couple of flights in order to try a bunch of different things. The first flight I did was all cider, and the second flight I chose some weird sounding beer that I probably would never drink a whole pint of. The bartender helping us was super swamped and it was getting crazy busy by the time we left. She was doing her very best and we really appreciated her. I liked most of the offerings I tried, even though some were really weird (like the bright green, Ecto cooler sour beer). It's fun to try some things you might never see again. They do have a full bar and bottled beer so I saw people ordering mixed drinks and buckets of Miller Lite. There's something for everyone. The crowd seemed to mostly be people in their 20s and 30s, and I could see it getting kind of rowdy. We ordered a pepperoni pizza to share, which was delicious! It was super cheesy and had great flavor. A good meal to go with your beer. I liked the tree inside the building, and the bar stools were actually comfortable. We had our carry on suitcase as we were on our way to the airport, and they graciously offered to hold it behind the host stand for us, which was really nice. If you're in the area and like beer, you can't miss the Charlotte Beer Garden!

Yelp
We can here to watch some football games and got some apps and a few beers. The atmosphere is incredible and the amount of beer on tap is actually insane. Our server was also super nice and provided great service.

Yelp
A great lunch at Charlotte Beer Garden on a sunny day in February! Justin started us out with some incredible tastes that resulted in an incredible beverage: Raspberry Birthday Cake, an incredibly tasty brew! My daughter got a cider and Brannigan made a Blueberry Mule that was wonderful. Lunch was a sumptuous Swiss burger with carmelized onions and mushrooms. It was an awesome start in the lower level and then we reveled in the sun of the rooftop area where we got sun, music and sipping of the remainder of our drinks. Great job Justin and Brannigan with the service and drinks! This place has got to be on your "to do" list when in Charlotte!

Yelp
This place has SO. MANY. BEERS. There are three separate bars (two in the main floor and one upstairs), and who knows how many drinks on tap. There are also a nice variety of areas to pick from to sit and enjoy your drinks and a meal -- low top and high top tables, bar seating, indoor and outdoor seating, and street level or rooftop views. DRINKS // I thought I would order a flight, to more of a variety, but didn't realize that these poor servers have to run around to the bar that has your beer of choice. Needless to say, it's much faster to just order a pint. FOOD // We shared a nice variety of appetizers -- pretzel, Mac and cheese bites (came with a delicious honey dipping sauce), fried shrimp, and my favorite, the fried pork belly bites. YUM. For an entree, I tried the filet medallions, which came on a bed of fries that I wanted to, but just couldn't finish. ATMOSPHERE // The giant tree when you walk in make quite the impression. The space is huge and roomy, so no matter where you sit you won't feel cramped. We took over two long high top tables in the second floor for a work function and felt like we had our own private club (the fact that it was a random Wednesday probably helped!). SERVICE // We had two servers dedicated to our group, and they tried their hardest, but they just couldn't keep up with all the orders and refills. Took quite a while to get our drinks since there wasn't a bartender on the second floor for us to order from. Everything had to go through the wait staff. They were friendly and nice at least. Definitely will be returning to try more beers and continue sampling the menu, but maybe next trip I'll be with a smaller crowd.

Yelp
I recently visited Charlotte Beer Garden on Friday September 6th at 1 AM and had a disappointing and traumatic experience. The staff was unprofessional, and I had a disturbing incident where they illegally withheld my NC Real ID. They claimed it was fake and refused to return it, forcing me to call the police. After a 30-minute ordeal, I finally retrieved my ID, but only after being asked to leave the premises. It's clear that the staff struggles to handle big weekend crowds, especially with bowl games in the city, college kids and fake IDs. Instead of escalating the situation, they should learn how to de-escalate and handle these situations professionally. Withholding someone's real ID and calling it fake is unacceptable and ILLEGAL. I would caution others about visiting this establishment! The bouncer and manager on duty refused to give their names or take accountability, specifically the manager on duty who is balding and has a ginger beard, and the bouncer with a beard and man bun. They need to do better! You passed my ID around to staff, thinking it was fake, and shared my personal information, which is dangerous!

Yelp
Located in Southend along Tryon Street you will find a variable fortress of beer known as Charlotte Beer Garden. The massive three story bar resembles something of a tree house inside and as the name suggests they are serious about beer. With seemingly endless taps, there are several different bars throughout. On the first floor you can find an impressive fully stocked liquor bar with plenty of spirits to keep non beer drinkers happy. Across the room on the first floor you also have a bar with taps dedicated to local beers. There is an outdoor patio along with lounge chairs and couches and plenty of tables and bar seats so whatever your mood or vibe is Charlotte Beer Garden can accommodate it. On the second floor you'll find another bar with even more unique taps. Finally if you make your way up to the rooftop you'll find yet another fully stocker bar along with fire pits, plenty of seating, and skyline views. It can al seem overwhelming with so much to choose from but if you tell the bartenders what kind of beer you usually like they are always happy to make a recommendation. Also don't sleep on their food either. I have been here for private events that were catered as well as dinner with friends and I've been very impressed by the food. Also if the amount of stair climbing is worrisome to you they do have an elevator!
google avatar

Alyssa m.

Yelp
Good vibes! I like how many options they have! It is a good place for everyone! I have tried many of their ciders! They have all been good! I like the cherry limeade one and the Strawberry one. It can definitely be busy!

Yelp
Cold pizza that took a long long time to get No napkins No silverware No drinks Slow slow service Waited several minutes after the pizza came out before we got the drinks Still not a single napkin The pizza was actually pretty good - decent bar pizza bad review due solely to the servers. If ya plan on coming here drink and eat before arriving, lt takes so long to get anything here that you'll be ready to eat again before the food arrives.

Erich H.

Yelp
This place definitely focuses on the college crowd with music being played far too loud for 7:30 in the evening. Asking for a credit card before making an order of any kind is ridiculous. They've obviously been ripped off by college students regularly. When asked why do they this, the reply was that's our policy. No real explanation. I seriously doubt a couple of retirees are going to dine and dash. The staff is clearly not empowered to make any decisions on their own. And to top it off, half of their beers were not available because of a cooler malfunctioning. The burger was ok but big and greasy. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Not a place I would recommend if you are over 30 and gainfully employed

Yelp
Two weekends ago I stopped into Charlotte Beer Garden for a quick bite to eat. It was a low-key Sunday. There wasn't a crowd at all. When we arrived, we were asked if we wanted to go to the bar or sit at a table. We asked for a table "because we have a 13-year-old with us and can't sit at the bar." When the hostess said any person, any age can sit at the bar, we headed over. Not a single soul was at the bar but us, so I figured we'd be attended to quickly. Wrong. After what felt like 10-15 minutes of continuously looking around at the staff (all close by) to see who would finally walk over to the bar and take our order, a girl approached. She put her cell down for a minute to ask us what we wanted. I ordered a drink, and said "annnnd...." as I was looking at the menu, deciding on my food choice. She replied "and what." Her tone and attitude when she said it was so off-putting. Not a single person at the bar but us...not many people in the entire establishment...and she was in a rush to have us order although no one made it a priority to come to the bar when we sat down. On that note, I made a decision for my group. We are NOT eating here. They agreed. Since it started to rain, we had one drink before leaving. The 2-stars were earned from the spicy margarita. Mean Girl Matilda made a delicious margarita.

Yelp
While their selection of beer is off the charts and the atmosphere is nice, the service could very well be the worst experience ever. Has all the makings of a great place but the waiter and bar tender need some serious training on customer service. Sadly, will not return.

Jess L.

Yelp
The beer was warm and my first beer was served to me in a glass that had not been washed. It had fingerprints and lip marks on it. So gross. Everyone working there was just sitting around on their phones and were so unfriendly. Also, we wanted to sit in one of the booths, but none of them had been cleaned. We were there for two hours and in that time, they were never wiped down. This place has such great potential but it was so disappointing. Would never go back.
google avatar

Kristy W.

Yelp
This place is incredible with 3 floors and each having their own genre of beer. I believe the second floor was international beers but unfortunately I do not remember the rest. The staff there was super friendly and knowledgeable of the beers and the establishment. The Charlotte Beer Garden is located in a really hip and happening part of town. They sell growlers and shirts at the reservation desk. Tre decor is AMAZING with a whimsical tree in the middle of the Garden and beautiful lanterns, it transports you to magical utopia - the beer helps too!!

Yelp
Why haven't I come here sooner. WOW!! First let's talk about the scenery. This business has three floors and an outside patio. The first floor has a bar and several local beers. The second floor has several hundred beers including international versions on tap. The top floor has an additional bar with outdoor seating. I can imagine that in the spring/summer and warmer fall nights that this area is great. It overlooks the outdoor patio located on the first level. You have nice partial views of downtown. Oh and on cooler nights, you can take advantage of the fire pits that they have. I believe there are two large pits that look wonderful at night. Now, I know I am giving this business 5 stars and guess what, I don't even like beer. But what I do love is cider and their cider selection is great. On a night where there weren't many patrons, I was able to sample around 5-6 different ciders, but my favorite, the one that keeps me coming back is the Mimosa Cider. Try this and you will be happy (that's if you like sweet ciders). I don't remember how much alcohol is in the cider but after two I feel nice. Give this place a try, you will enjoy yourself. I definitely will return (well have already twice). Small note: You must show your ID at the door. This a must for EVERYONE. I am in my 40s and although (I know) I look to be in my 20s, I too have to show my ID LOL.

Mallory J.

Yelp
Great place, came for dinner on a Friday around 7:45 pm and we were seated right away. Table height to chair height ratio was fantastic, best of any restaurant I've been to in a while. There was fun music playing but it still wasn't too loud, could easily have a conversation (we were seated outside). Food was good, the cocktails were just okay to be honest, but the service was fast, the waitress was super friendly and gave suggestions of where to go after. Would definitely come back again, would like to see what the rooftop bar would be like. We stayed until around 10 pm.

Yelp
This is hard because I generally do love going to Charlotte Beer Garden and the atmosphere and all the selection. But my last experience there was absolutely terrible. We went for the Super Bowl and sat on the second floor at the bar and couldn't hear the game at all. I think they only had the volume turned up on one tv. It wasn't exceptionally loud from people you just couldn't hear it at all. It wasn't over-crowded by any means, it was actually relatively slow. We didn't have the best service. The bartenders seemed kind of annoyed to be there. We ordered some appetizers to start and the plate that they gave me was absolutely disgusting. It had hardened sauce and hair and clearly wasn't clean. I brought it to the bartenders attention and he gave me a new one but never apologized or said anything about it. He was silent the entire time. I wouldn't say they're known for having the best food. I do really enjoy the Mac and cheese bites, beyond burger and corn dogs. But the beer selection really can't be beat. I just wish the service could match that. This experience really ruined Charlotte Beer Garden for me and I don't know that I can recommend it to others. They really need to do better.

Kellie L.

Yelp
My husband and I came with another couple (all in our late 40s) on a Sunday afternoon, and it was our first time - which Mecca (sp) clocked instantly. We definitely looked excited AND overwhelmed. She was the nicest person I've ever met, and totally authentic nice, not fake nice, and gave us a complete rundown of the place - ~200 local taps downstairs, ~150 international taps on the second floor, and a third floor rooftop bar with ~20 taps. We stayed on the first floor, and we LOVED their 5 oz pour option so we could try a few different things. And we didn't leave the first floor, but it was nice to know your tap followed where ever you went. It was a beautiful day, and the doors were open to let the breeze in. We couldn't have had a better time!

Yelp
Had some time to kill after a conference, so I ran across Charlotte Beer Garden. Nice laidback experience, it was Wednesday middle of the week, so I assuming crowds are more on weekends. Overall good drinks and customer service, will definitely come back next time in the area.

Yelp
I wish I'd ordered more at the Charlotte Beer Garden, but what I *did* order was good. I'd just come from eating elsewhere so I ordered a whiskey ginger alone - and it was solid. I'd have ordered a couple more if I wasn't trying to be a responsible drinker that day. Atmosphere is pretty lively on all floors. That also means there are plenty tiny humans running around with their big humans so be careful with your drinks.
google avatar

Keith F.

Yelp
This was one crowded place that draws a snooty elitist crowd. Service is minimal, food is mediocre, prices are astronomical. Atmosphere is tense and unfriendly. This is not the kind of place one would want to visit after a long and demanding day.

Yelp
We recently went to Carlotte Beer Garden for the second time and they did not fail us again. It is the largest taproom in America (not sure about world but maybe) with over 100 different taps. It is pretty insane but looking at the options online can be overwhelming, but the great thing is that they have it where you can filter down by what styles you like to make things go faster. This time I went straight for sours only so it only took me a few minutes to fill out a flight card. My niece did ciders and sours and checked to make sure we weren't doubling up and then Ben, well he likes several styles so he took a little longer. When you go in, you can sit downstairs, outside, upstairs or even on the third level which is also outside. In November, we choose to sit upstairs to be more inside even though they have large windows opened but it was also further away from the live music outside. When someone comes to your table they ask you if you want table service or if you want to get your own drinks/food from the bar. From our first visit last year we learned that if you get your own, you will be going up and down stairs to get all your desired options. To me, that is not something I am willing to do with a flight of beers. The place can get crowded, and I am not taking my chances of walking up a flight of busy stairs or maneuvering around a ton of people that are not paying attention to those walking. I am also 5 foot, I am overlooked and ran into all the time, even without anything in my hands at a busy place. So keep in mind, depending on what you order to drink, it may take a little while because your server may have to go downstairs or upstairs to get some of your options. I do believe they have employee only stairs though, making it easier for them, but I could be wrong. They food many is also pretty creative for a beer garden. On our first visit, we tried several different menu items as we also had more people with us, and nothing disappointed us. Some were unusual, like their version of a corn dog, but it wasn't bad, just a fancy corn dog. LOL. We really have enjoyed each time we have gone there, and I can't image a visit to the area without including this into one of the stops. There is something there for everyone.

Yelp
The service was terrible!!! One of the servers spilled water on my kid didn't even bother to say sorry until we said something! Our actual server took our order and came back 20minutes later asked if we were ready to order ! Our food took over an hour to get to us maybe that had something to do with our server not knowing we already ordered!! And when the food finally came it was not good at all I didn't even eat my food I just left!!!! This was Mother's Day I feel like they should've been prepared! DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE ZERO PLANS FOR THAT DAY AND YOU HAVE THE TIME TO WASTE TO MAYBE EAT SOMETHING THAT MIGHT COME OUT GOOD!!! You really have to cross your fingers for the best at that point.

Yelp
Had a lovely brunch meet up with my sorority sisters this past Saturday at Charlotte Beer Garden! I hadn't been here since before the pandemic so it was nice to be back at this beautiful establishment. We sat outside downstairs, which was perfect because it was a beautiful day. Our server was the bomb! Don't recall her name but she recommended one of the best beers I've had in a while and right as I'm typing this review I realize I can't remember what beer it was. AH! LOL, I think it was something with a rap name....dang it lol. Either way it was good AF and she's the bomb for the great recommendation! I also ordered the salad and added fried shrimp. I was pleasantly surprised with how yummy my food was. My only issue, is everyone's issue...parking. But that's not their fault I guess, it just makes it harder to get there sometimes. Otherwise, legit can't wait to return, good times and great service!

Yelp
This place was fun to visit, I didn't have any beer lol but the atmosphere was nice. Later in the evening there isn't a host, you just find your spot, order drinks or food from one of the 3 bars and enjoy yourself. I'll take it, we ran into one of the staff who gave us the rundown of the place, he advised we taste beer before ordering a whole glass, he also let us know there was a rooftop with skyline views which I appreciated, it made the place more approachable! The rooftop had a greenhouse feel to it, there weren't a ton of folks up there which helped us to enjoy the space and be first timers lol. There are big screen tvs everywhere for the game watchers, fire pits and heating lamps for the fall/winter weather. The food was decent, nothing to write home about, Buffalo shrimp was overcooked and chewy, wings were a little softer than I would like, but overall I liked the environment and would return whenever I visit Charlotte again!

Yelp
Our server, Angelina, was awesome and her love for craft beer shows! We had great conversations about our favorite beers and breweries in different states. We sat in the downstairs patio, since dogs are not allowed on the rooftop :( this is a great spot to hang out with small or large groups during the day or nighttime. There are over 300 beers on tap, so it can be overwhelming. I would google different beers to get an idea of their notes, hops, and IBU. I would recommend doing flights for variety if you're sitting down at a table; just ask your server!

Yelp
It was okay, we went to the top for some cocktails since we're not huge beer fans but still wanted to try the place out. I didn't fully enjoy either drink I got cause the taste was off or it tasted like straight liquor and not much of the other ingredients. The bartenders were very helpful and friendly though! The main one who served us looked out with the food. I really liked the buffalo shrimp with the fries. This place is great for group outings but idk if I'll be returning anytime soon. 12/16/2023

Yelp
We came here for a business lunch. The staff was super courteous and helped us move from our original outside seat to inside. They have a huge beer selection which is a plus for me. We ordered a bunch of apps which is great to share but my boss has a seafood allergy and unfortunately they don't separate their cooking oil so she couldn't partake. All in all this is a wonderful establishment which you should check out. The decor, vibe and outside seating makes this place one of my new favorites.
