Charly’s Bakery went above and beyond with my order placed all the way from Dubai for my partner in Cape Town. I couldn’t be there in person, but they made the entire process effortless. The cake was absolute perfection – not only beautiful, but full of deliciousness – with the exact message I requested. A huge thank you to Alex, who personally arranged for the cake to be delivered to the restaurant in time for the birthday dinner. Fantastic company, incredible personal service – highly recommend!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this bakery left me no choice 😩 This is the kind of bakery where you go, ‘Wow, I’ll just get one thing,’ but then you hear yourself say, ‘And that one… oh and that too…’ pointing to things like Oprah handing out cars. And then, next thing you know, you’re eating a slice of hummingbird cake in your car like a raccoon 🦝 (Don’t believe me?…check out the pictures below for proof 🔍💀) The truth is…Absolutely everything here tastes like it was baked by someone who had a personal vendetta against blandness. Everything on offer is truly Mucking Afazing. Everyone who is a part of creating this phenomenal space? Beyond helpful and kind 💙 Honestly, this bakery is criminally good and I highly recommend you visit. Just don’t blame me when you leave with half the shop 🤷🏽‍♀️

A cute bakery and a must place if you are in Cape Town. The cakes & cupcakes looks like different art pieces placed in a chilled glass. It was a treat for both eyes & our tummy. Its better not to bring in the kids(especially the ones who have sweet little tooth) or be ready to empty your pockets ;-)

We ordered from Charly’s Bakery and wow—what a hit! I got so many compliments on the chocolate portion of the cake—so moist, rich, and full of flavor. The icing was perfectly balanced—sweet but not overwhelming. The WhatsApp customer service was incredible—so attentive, kind, and thoughtful. They even remembered to send birthday wishes and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. Delivery was prompt and efficient. The price is absolutely worth it for the perfection you get from Charly’s—from taste to presentation to service. You guys really are the best—thank you for making our celebration so special!

The most magical cakes and experience! I ordered my birthday cake on the day and received the loveliest cake. And I recently ordered a Spiderman birthday cake for my son ... perfection once again! The best best bakery in Cape Town. It was my husbands birthday and we were visiting CPT and was told by a friend that I should only order the cake from them and wasn’t I glad.. Dani was fantastic from the word go.. she exactly understood what I wanted and created the best cake ever( beyond my expectations). Such a happy lot of people who create magic from their heart❤️

Have you heard the saying "Third time's a charm"? Well, it certainly was for us! If you’re visiting Cape Town, Charly's Bakery is an absolute MUST-visit! After two prior visits when we found the bakery closed, our excitement for our third attempt was through the roof! And oh my goodness, it was totally worth the wait! Just look at the pictures – they capture all the deliciousness! But don’t forget to treat yourself to a glass (or two!) of milk because you’ll definitely want it with all those sweet treats! Enjoy every bite!

Where do I even begin?!? Charly’s Bakery was absolutely phenomenal in EVERY way. I’m all the way in the USA and they helped me with my sister’s birthday cake, they were extremely helpful and efficient!! It’s my sister’s first birthday away from home and we always had special cakes made, and Charly’s Bakery helped me give my sister a little bit of home and normalcy. Don’t walk, RUN to place your order with them!! I definitely have a new cake spot in Cape Town now.
