The resort is closed (and from the look of the buildings it has been for quite a while) but you can pay 100 THB for access to the grounds which allows you to walk down to Jansom bay where there are beach chairs and even a bar that serves some drinks. It’s quite strange walking through the resort that has been completely taken over by the jungle, but the bay is very nice and quiet given that its not easily accessed. Make sure to take the first path down on your right after paying the lady, this takes you straight to the bay. I took the other road and ended up hiking through the mountains for a good 10-15min before finding my way down (it was quite a cool feeling to wander in this place though)

Fraudsters. At the entrance, a woman illegally demands 100 baht per person to access a beach where there is an abandoned, non-functioning hotel, no bar, no café, and no proper toilet—just a completely filthy old toilet with no toilet paper. Locals have taken over the abandoned hotel premises, and when we asked for toilet paper in their language, they yelled at us and kicked us out. We returned to the entrance, where I asked why we had to pay for access to the beach, which was in such a neglected state. The woman immediately refunded the money we had paid, without saying a word."

Beware!! This hotel is a scam! It’s an abandoned hotel which does not look like on the pictures at all! It has a very nice beach though which can be accessed for 100 THB (not sure if that’s legit though).

A few years ago I stayed in Charm Churee on 'over boulder villa'. The location was FANTASTIC being in the middle of three beaches at the end of a fairly long dirt road. That ment that no one else would really turn up (if not in the hotel) as it was fairly out of the way. We really loved it! I am sad to hear that it is now closed after Covid

They make you pay 100 baht pp to access the public beach. I told them that this is illegal but they insisted to take my money. They didn't give me any receipt and signs are in English only. Surely Thai do not pay because they know the law. The beach was full of drunk people smoking joints, playing very loud music and leaving garbage around, as the staff cares only about money. Reading other reviews the resort is a scam. They make money mainly from tourists visiting the beach, as just for the entrance they make 4000 baht every 40 people, plus drinks, plus food, plus beachbeds... It's more than enough to feed the 3 people I saw "working" there. Police should do something regarding this.

SCAM!! DON’T COME HERE! The hotel is abandoned and they make you pay 100 THB to get down to the beach, which also abandoned and not taken care of at all. They also tell you you pay for 3 beaches but in reality you cannot access those as the path ways are abandoned and nature is taking them back. Go to Freedom beach instead - it’s 50 THB and they really take care of it.

Nice located hotel with private beach and very close to the shops. They offer beautiful view from the restaurant, but unfortunately not from the rooms due to the surrounding trees. Upon our arrival we were told that our room is not available but instead we were offered different and bigger for the same price so I can't complain. All staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and nicely decorated.

Our room was huge and was like The Treehouse Mansion built into the rocks with a private beach with great snorkeling and also private stairs from your room down to the water. There was also a very cute dog. Every Resort in Thailand has dogs and I love it. All of my pics are of just our private area.
